He means custom animations are freaking hard to do. Experienced modders tried for months-years to create proper custom animations for a four legged dragon to get a mod working. Everyone who tried gave up. It's that hard.

Here's mine. I'm already fully content with this load order and most of my modding time has now been looking to fix the load order and checking updates for the mods and patches. LOL. http://pastebin.com/NfrdF8wX

AI Limiter Increaser by Tonycubed. I'm guessing you have Sands of Time as well, or used to have it. It was initially developed as an add on for that mod to counter-act the problem of non-responding spawns because you've reached the cell AI limit. That mod basically just increases the AI limit. http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=50823

Well in my case I have the CCOR replacer for cloaks and my entire load order is green. So not sure about your issue.

Help/advice needed heavily modding Skyrim
chanchan05 replied to bloodbomb's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
Yes you can. I actually use NMM+WyreBash+TESVEdit. You can do everything on NMM, and just use WB and TESVEdit to check for errors. Also just to be sure you aren't like the other guy who posted, you do have a 64-bit Windows OS right? -
@Hyacanthusarullistad - then it's a different problem. Orange in WyreBash means there's something wrong with that plugin's position or something. Go look at the documentation.

My followers have hundreds of torches in their inventory

I'd wager a guess you have Equipment Overhaul. Have you updated to the latest version? It's a known bug on the old version. Sometimes you suddenly sh*t a lot of torches too. -

Bigger than Ireland? Yup. Morrowind disappearing or at least drastically changed should be about right. The eruption of Karakatoa and Tamboa were recorded to have been heard as far away as 4000km away. Tsunamis Karakatoa generated were so powerful that it lifted entire passenger ships and deposited them as far as 10km inland. Come to think about it, Winterhold Collapse may indeed have been an effect of the red mountain. Huge tsunami and earthquakes from the original explosion may have weakened the bedrock, that an sufficiently powerful aftershock could create another set of tsunami and take down the city. -
@lhawke - BOSS cannot sort out of order masters. BOSS can't even detect it. BOSS sometimes causes it. Basically, after you BOSS your load order, sometimes a mod's masters are not sorted. Let's say Fishbiter's SkyRexSandsofTime patch. Inside the mod, the masters are sorted like this: Skyrim.esm Dawnguard.esm SandsofTime.esp SkyRe.esp Which is how BOSS orders it. However, the author of SoT recommends that his mod be placed as low in the load order as possible (must come before reproccer, but all follower mods, NPC mods, weapon and armor mods, bashed patch, etc must come before it). So what happens is, following the author recommendation, your load order becomes Skyrim.esm Dawnguard.esm SkyRe.esp SandsofTime.esp Opening WyreBash, you will see the SkyRexSoT patch to be colored orange, referring to out of order masters. AFAIK, there's no real problem, and I haven't experienced any. However, to be on the safe side, I just open up the mod in TESVEdit and sort it's masters. It's pretty easy actually. Load the mod (just the mod, all other plugins should be unchecked), it will automatically call for it's masters. Once finished, right click the mod and select "sort masters", Voila, the masters are sorted and the mod is green in WyreBash.

Less Intrusive HUD 2 can do that. It's newer and does a whole lot of other stuff www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/35154/ -
Weirdly this happened to me yesterday. Got F'd up so I uninstalled NMM, rebooted, reinstalled, rebooted and BAM! working.

Shame on BOSS? Why? BOSS is still being updated. If you are using 2.1.1, you will always get the masterlist download error. Also BOSS 2.1.1 does not alert you of the 2.2 update. Using LOOT as previously stated depends on load order size. LOOT gets more than half of my mods wrong, like those that are supposed to be late loads gets loaded early, while some that need early loading getting placed last.

Those two work together pretty well. I have a Skyrim Redone build for my mod list that includes famous and well recommended mods like Frostfall, Immersive College of Winterhold, Epic Gameplay Overhaul, Sands of Time, Realistic Needs and Diseases, Expanded Towns and Cities, etc. and a whole lot more. It takes a bit of time to get to know how to make them work together, so what happens is that your first playthrough on modding becomes sort of a test subject. You add and remove several mods until you get what you like, until you realize your save game is bugging out so you have to start a new one, and the cycle happens again. This is usually repeated until you finally get a mod set that when you see another mod, you no longer feel the " I NEED TO HAVE THAT IN MY GAME" feeling.

Arrows don't shoot in a straight line because it is affected by speed and gravity settings. Here's an IMO better fix than what's posted above: www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/13652/ I play primarily an archer and real hardcore mode (no crosshairs) and I don't use sniper bows anymore as well. That mod helped me, along with closer quivers and longer arrows. What happens is that it becomes realistic aiming. The arrow flies to where the tip points, except in sneak mode where it's a little bit to the left.

In the CK, use your old esp as "data file" for the new active plugin, your sequel. Basically, data from the old mod is being used, so your new mod needs it installed to run. You don't need to esm it.

Despite mods being personal, a few stuff are universally needed: SKSE 1.7 (not a mod, needed to run mods, plus the memory patch on version 1.7 is awesome) SkyUI (ok this is a bit personal, but meh, you need MCM menu) ENBoost Unofficial Patches

Bethesda's "Giant Middle Finger"

My take is, Skyrim is not Morrowind, and the authors have every right to make changes if they want, and they may not think of it as sticking a finger at customers. And dude, The Red Mountain is bigger than any volcano existing on the earth's land surface apparently (does not count Hawaii and other sea volcanoes. Also, "wouldn't change the layout to that extent". Do you even know how poweful a volcanic eruption is? We have a caldera lake in my country that's 18km across, caused by the eruption of a volcano. Entire islands disappeared from volcanic eruptions. Read on Karakatoa, Tamboa and Santorini (Thera). Consider that Tamboa's eruption was so powerful enough that it despite being in Indonesia, the eruption causes huge atmospheric disturbances that basically, summer never came for Europe and America. Read about 1815 Year Without Summer. Karakatoa destroyed 50% of the island it used to stand on, about the same as Santorini. For all we know, the communities we see in Solstheim are new ones, just named after the old ones which were destroyed by the eruption, where the survivors moved to. -
Didn't notice the posts above say the same thing...sorry Skyrim now takes way to many patches, and things to get it all working. never thought i would be approaching the 255 mod limit , but am now at 217 and keep finding more patches i need also...lol. Wait till you add AV, ASIS, SkyRe, Reproccer, and the like.....I went with STEP this time around and couldn't be happier with my set-up. Lol. I'm at beyond 300 plugins. Merge script is awesome.

Well, that's mod is only a temporary "bug fix" until the main mod Project Ilmarinen is finished. Author gives a link to the project thread.

No wonder you're crashing. ^What piperman said. It's Climates of Tamriel Weather PATCH, with emphasis. Basically it means it needs the original CoT, it just adds certain effects on the ones CoT already places. It just patches up any holes in CoT.
-
Err, why are you using Lanterns of Skyrim CoT Nights level 8 when you have CoT Nights level 3? You're supposed to use same levels. On a side note, I'd advise to just drop CoT Nights. That plugin is way broken. It doesn't really make the nights darker, it's jut like wearing sunglasses in the night. Even the lights are muted. You're better off with something like Realistic Nights.

I heard they have a mod allowing the dragonborn to get, uh, drop a number one and number two.
