  1. An easy, permanent fix for this if you are using Spice Gear is to remove the esp file named Tiwa44_SpiceGear.esp. This will get rid of the path to the spice boots labeled *f and allow the default boots to be used again. The clothing and armor from the replacer version do not need a plugin file. :)
  2. In response to post #74000998. #74003038 is also a reply to the same post. Hehe TheVoigKnight speaks volumes. Only 7% of mod users come back to endorse, so only H cup uploaders would be ad free. ;)
  3. So you know, that is a port of Petrovich's Simply Clothes mod. You should be able to simply ( no pun intended ) take Petrovich's Simply Clothes and assign those textures to them. :)
  4. If you want to port my content to Kingdom Come: Deliverance, please feel free to do so. Permission is granted, so no need to ask. I cannot afford the game at this time due to ongoing health issues which are preventing me from working, so I can't port it myself. https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/12060?tab=posts
  5. This is a comment. This is only a comment. Had this been an actual statement, it would have contained relevant data.

Oh, the original point of this particular thread was that the ad had completely taken over the entire page. I had to use an old bookmark that got me to the old layout and then log in. I couldn't click anything on the new layout due to a single, huge png image covering it to be one great big button leading to that advertiser's link. It did it again after I had closed out all browsers and opened them again. It isn't that we are against ads, it's that we are against an advertiser making the entire site a link to their ads. That's worth a pound of flesh Ala Se7en. ;) ... Come to think of it, it's been 16 long years since I've sent anyone to the hospital. Putting an advertiser in a sleeping bag so I can beat other advertisers with him like a flail would be fun. :)

Lemme go wake up my attorney, Mr. Mossberg. :P EDIT: Looks like pacfish totally missed the point lol. Reading comprehension. A li'l dab'll do ya. ;)

Well, at least they are just using unscrupulous tactics to get clicks, as opposed to the folks over at Deviant Art, who allowed full on virii through the ads on their site. I have images of it happening as they were claiming it was fixed uploaded there lol. Dark0ne, I'm in Phoenix. I could hop a buss and go kick 'em in the feet to wake them up if you'd like. :) Of course, I may not stop kicking once they do wake up...
  12. In response to post #54687313. #54687368 is also a reply to the same post. It isn't working as a visible thing to print screen of I'm afraid. The mouse pointer is a hand icon, meaning it is hovering over a selectable object no matter where it is on the page, meaning an invisible PNG is being used as a button. This is the link it takes me to. http://www.cokeworlds2017.com/?campaign=Curse I'm gonna pop open a new window and take a shot of it though in case it shows something you know shouldn't be there. :D One sec... HERE is a screenshot, but it doesn't show the pointer as a hand when in a non button location. When I try to click Log In, or anywhere for that matter, that Coke gaming convention page pops up.
  13. What the bloody hell is with the relentless spam pop up ad on the new layout? I cannot even log into the new layout due to it having one single overlay covering the entire page that is a link to spam ads. Does this need to be reported as a bug too? Or should I just add y'all to ABP's list? EDIT: RE: the new layout. I know Win10 is nothing more than a huge phone app commercial, but did you guys really have to make the new layout look just like every other lame, shitty phone app out there? Seriously. Have some innovative thought.

How about asking those of us who have industry experience, or those with very extensive modding/developing experience to make tutorials for the new folks that could be exclusive to the site, or just showcased? :D One of the most intimidating things for a new modder can be the first time they open up one of the major pieces of software used. Or even the simpler ones, if they haven't found good documentation. Tutorials such as what I have on my YT page can help them in jump right in without trepidation.
  15. Methinks you need to take a look within, Dark0ne. I've reported mods which have stolen my work on this very site, where over a week later the mods were still up. In one case I pointed out, after 3 days had passed, that the mod author was using content without permission, and was immediately attacked by a moderator who falsely accused me of lying, then threatened me with banning for vigilantism even though the mod author mentioned my mod he stole my work from by name. So the moderator was right there to throw around threats, but apparently didn't have time to take down the illegal mod? Awesome. Another of the mods I reported is still up. It's been months. No responses, no nothin'. So yeah.....

Since you have no idea how modding works, yet feel as if you can threaten an entire community of those who do, I shall enlighten you. 1. Some of us have worked in the industry since before Morrowind was released, and we mod on the side because we like to. 2. Since Morrowind was released, there have been people who make tools for modding TES. 3. An entire mod the size of a game can be made without one single moment spent in the old toolkit, or the creation kits. 4. If it weren't for modders, none of the games past Morrowind would have had any improvements. Every upgrade you see in Oblivion, Skyrim, FO3, FONV, FO4 all came from ideas taken from modders. Horses, mounted combat, dismemberment, bows with strings, quivers, weapons showing in scabbards on the body when sheathed, crafting, NPC schedules and locked doors and shops, do I need to go on? So yeah, you can take your attitude and threats and stick 'em.
  17. In response to post #39913050. And they never bother to take action even when a DMCA is sent. There are still a number of my items for sale for SL. I guess the next step is to pop them with a 110,000 USD lawsuit per infraction.
  18. Thank you for the link, Razorpony! I had to stop working on Bob's Armory for Skyrim due to forgetting to make a backup before updating Nifskope.
  19. RE: Bethesda believing they have a claim on all mods. I can make a mod without using one single thing Bethesda created. I make my own content, every pixel and every polygon, then I use third party tools to implement them. So how is it Bethesda should profit from this? They should be paying me for increasing sales of their games. After all, I only have the largest all original mod out for Skyrim, and my franchise, Bob's Armory, has been so extremely popular for Morrowind, Oblivion and Skyrim that entire groups of sub mods have been created around it. Bethesda didn't make Bob's Armory. I did. So how is it they should get a cut? In some businesses, if you walk in demanding an implausible cut from someone's net gains, you get shot. Smells like organized crime to me. Anyway, to the subject at hand. I am personally not fond at all of the newly implemented donation changes. I get spammy pop ups all over the place asking for donations now, when that never happened before. And the offensive part is that these people did NOT create the content they are shoving pop ups in my face for. Why is it, when I have to download some random follower mod to make sure it isn't crediting someone else for my work (happens around 4 times a week actually), I get spammed with multiple donate pop ups, then find my work included without credits? My work is uploaded for FREE. So why should anyone be able to demand money for something I made? I think the original system with the single donate button up where the track, endorse, etc. buttons are should be the limit. And the more I am spammed with donate buttons from people who did not create the work, but only downloaded it and re uploaded it, the more vehemently I feel about this. I don't have patience for people trying to profit off riding my, or anyone else's coat tails anymore.
  20. In response to post #24997179. #24997739, #25000969 are all replies on the same post. First, it never was the % that was the problem, so your entire argument is invalid. Second, there are a few of us, a very few of us, who do not rely on Bethesda for anything. We create our own content and can use third party programs to implement them. This invalidates them as a source for anything. I could be releasing my content for other games if Skyrim didn't exist. There are plenty of them. Third, the modders who jumped on the "pay me pay me" bandwagon did not create their own content whatsoever. Everything uploaded for sale was either Bethesda assets, ported from another game legally, or ported from elsewhere illegally. Modding will never improve due to money. This recent fiasco proved that the exact opposite happens. The mods being spammed up for sale were garbage, plain and simple. Fourth, just because you are crying about the great victory for all of us, doesn't mean it wasn't a victory. I don't know... maybe your mom will bake you some cookies.

"The complete and utter lack of common sense among proponents of amateur mod monetization is frightening." - phantompally76 Quote of the century right there. The moment mods become commercial is the day I stop sending DMCA notices and start filing 110,000 dollar lawsuits per infraction as current law allows. That would have been 330,000 dollars in suits just from last night and this morning. Is this what you want the future of illegal mod punishment to be? because it is exactly where it will end up due to the sheer number of non original content mods.

"1) don't charge for mods- make the mods available via a MONTHLY SUBSCRIPTION SERVICE. " You should be BANNED for even posting this.
  23. An interesting note that should be addressed at this time is, the number of illegal mods being poured onto the Steam Workshop has more than quadrupled in the past 48 hours. As of last night I had reported 9 mods for using other people's works illegally, 4 mods which were flat out uploaded illegally in their entirety and two mods which I had to personally DMCA because the fool posted my work in them on the Workshop, which has never been allowed. All of these were uploaded in the last 48 hours.
  24. Power to the people! You have won a decisive victory against corporate greed and exploitation. Enjoy it. Days such as today do not come along very often. :) Bethesda once again used their statements today to blame modders for Oblivion getting a rating change from teen to mature, which is a flat out lie. Bethesda left in nude textures in the game when it shipped and did not inform the ESRB about them. Once this was discovered, the ESRB changed the rating. This is not a modder's fault. This is Bethesda's fault for leaving the nude textures in the finished product.
