  1. or since Racemenue and ECE are kind of compatible. You could install the whole file of ECE and see if that helps. Either way, I have got to get to bed soon. Sorry, I am about zonked...and my husband has abandoned me for an electric blanket. :)
  2. that does not make sense either...since that was just a head mesh. Plus I was wondering, you said that you did not install the custom race earlier when you installed Racement, but that race is from ECE. How many mods do you have installed?
  3. As I said before, I think this might be a mesh issue, so try taking that one from ECE out if you don't mind. Just to see if it works? I noticed the dirty face, but I though you might have a mod like Bathing in Skyrim that was making you look grungetastic. The dirt on the face could be from the CBBE, since one of the facepack parts is to change dirt into a beauty mark.
  4. try taking that file back out again. That might be the problem. and I think you only need it if you are using the presets that they included.
  5. well, some mods don't uninstall properly I do not know how horrible it would be for you. But, if push comes to shove you can always manually delete the files that were installed. That way you know that they are gone. What mod required that you install part of ECE? I don't guess I know that one.
  6. you could uninstall ECE and see if that fixes the problem. It is not ideal, but once again, at least then you would know if that was causing it.
  7. Ahh, what else am I gonna do on a Friday night? :) And no worries, like I said, I do like to help, when i can. and I am pretty good at tiral and error. Plus I was working on my FOMOD for my house mod while I was trying to help you. so it is all good.
  8. Download and run LOOT and Wrye Bash. They should help start getting things in better order. It will also tell you if you are missing any master files.
  9. Also, does the gap go away when you put on clothes? That might help determine if it is a body mesh problem or not
  10. Are you using any custom races or anything like that? I think Enhanced Character Edit also has a different head nif file.
  11. you could try that. I am thinking this might be a head mesh problem, just because it does not line up. Do you have any other mods that do anything to the heads or faces?
  12. Oh, and I was asking if you changed anything and built a new body with the bodyslide tool.
  13. no need to. you will probably just be overwriting their own files. Plus leaving it installed on NMM means you can take it of later, even though you are manually installing it now. Just Drag the data folder into the Skyrim folder, it should ask to merge with the Data folder that is there. if you want to put it in the Skyrim/Data, then use the texture folder that is one layer down. basically you want the files you are dragging in to match up with the pathways of the files that are already there.
  14. That is...odd. There is also a noticable difference in skin tone. really odd. Ok...lets try something else. Go back to SG texture renewal. download it manually. we are gong to install it directly into your skyrim folder, You will just need to take it and drop it in the same file as your Data folder and it should merge with that one, then let it replace whatever textures it asks for. which CBBE body are you using, just the vanilla one?
  15. open it up in paint and resize it by about 50%...then save it as a jpg. it should be small enough then or, I am on steam...Galadreal79, I am not sure if you can send it to me there or just post a link after you upload it.
  16. Can you take a screenshot and post it so I can see what you are talking about?
  17. No...I don't think so. Are you sure you downloaded the CBBE version of SG textures. There is a CBBE version and a UNP version
  18. Good question many texture mods, mesh mods, and things like that do not necessarily need an esp or esm record. They simply copy their texture or mesh over the path for the standard textures or meshes. This means that when shyrim reads the game, it reads the new information as what is supposed to be there. That is the simple way of saying it, but I don't think I can do technical that well tonight. Some mods, like certain clothing re placers, do need an esp because they actually have to add new items to the game (some women's armor for instance, if you add new boot textures you have to have a new esp file since male and female armors share the same boot mesh. But skeletons are just a mesh, so they can be installed with no esp. The same can be said for many animation replacement mods. If it just straight replaces something from the base game, then it does not need an esp file. But if it adds in new things, new animations, new clothes, new house, changes to houses. Things like that need an esp to be read as a modification.
  19. Just go to CBBE, and if it is marked as installed, just double click on it, that should uninstall it. Sorry to be so confusing. Same thing with SG. That version of NMM uninstalls when you double click an installed mod. You could delete it, but then you would need to redownload it. It should be fine to just double click.
  20. Yeah, but even with HDT, you still need a body capable of jiggling, one with TBBP pr BBP. I honestly do not know about the Fitness body. SG comes with it's own normal maps, so overwriting them might be causing your problem. I am not 100% sure on textures and maps though, so I cannot say for sure. But I would be wary. Also, with that version of NMM, I think you can just doub-click on the mod to uninstall it if it is installed. or there may be an option on the upper left hand side of the menu Sorry about that, I am trying out the newest version of NMM, and there are a lot of changes. Sorry about that.
  21. Nevermind! I fixed it! GO ME!! I did not have: <typeDescriptor> <type name="Optional"/> </typeDescriptor> after each file. Which is odd, but hey, it worked, so I will not complain. I am gonna just leave this here in case anyone else needs it.
  22. No worries, everybody started out new, and I like to help, so it is all good. I switched to UNPB recently though, so I am having to look these things up as I go, hence my slow answers. I have never had to uninstall anything to get SG to work, just overwrite. Also be sure you are uninstalling fully and not just deactivating. I think that is a key difference with the new NMM version 60. But I digress. yeah, don't delete all the face and body textures...just the ones in Data/Textures/Actors/Characters for females. Basically they are the same ones that SG installs, but if you do the "yes to all" option, it should work to write over those.
  23. Ok, I think there might be a slight miscommunication here, I am not trying to make this sound stupid, so please bear with me. Open NMM (I don't know how to do this on MO, but I am guessing it is the same general idea) Right click on SG Textures and pick "Uninstall Mod" Right click on CBBE and pick "Uninstall Mod" Reinstall CBBE, pick your options, be sure to install the bodyslide tool. Go to Skyrim/Data/CalienteTools and open the bodyslide tool Choose the body you want that jiggles and then hit the create body button. once you get a message that it has made the new body, you can close bodyslide go back to NMM and install SG, click "yes to all" when it asks about overwriting You should be fine to install the XP32 (I prefer the extended version) and run FNIS. SG is a full body retexture, and i have never had any seam problems with it, or had to use Textblend on it.
  24. The easiest solution would be to uninstall them both and then just reinstall CBBE alone. However, if you want to see which textures to look for, manually dowload SG texture renewal and just follow the file paths to where they go. However, SG is a fully body texture replacer, not just the head. If you were having seams I wonder if you installed the whole thing or not? And (this may seem like a stupid question, but I have to ask) are you sure you got the CBBE texture and not the UNP one?
