  1. All the sudden, I get on my horse and it will turn, but not move.
  2. I now have the soul stone. I activate it and I get the spell. I cast it and enter paradise by entering the portal. I explore it and enter back through gateway. The quest is still active. Need help.
  3. Oblivion ini was causing missing water textures. I deleted it and restore the memory mods. The water went back to normal. Internet searches gave me. I removed pluggy 125, Mannimarco Resurrection - Light and Dark, and keychain. No more quicksaves or overwriting. It's greatly reduced random crashes, but I still have an exit to exterior cell crash. I turn spec all the way back and turned it off in obivion ini. No effect, the only solution I have, off the net, is to set 3rd person mode and go through the door. I'm just beginning to understand what the previous owner if this account did to create arch mage sanc. So, i'm just a beginner. A mod to automate this would be handy.
  4. If i'v gone through a ruin before, I run across a open gate. If hit the button the gate pops closed then opens. It's annoying glitch that happens in nearly all ruins. Can someone fix this oblivion bug?
  5. When you read the book inside frostcrag spire reborn. It's the original text. The popup are updated. The book has frostcrag's original text.

  7. Everytime, I save a game it crashes. I'v tried this page, the ctd info. Any save created is corrupted. With the same mods, overnight it stopped working. Need help. Still looking... http://en.uesp.net/wiki/Oblivion:Technical_Support Also, sometimes the save will stall midway and stay there. At the console, a manual save and a quicksave will CTD. The save number is 260+ and over 200+ game hours.

I truly felt like a hero of legend! :smile: Too much praise to give out... Also, the bull being her lover was nice touch. The battles were a bit smaller than i'd like and should have been more of them. Not really a negative, just a nit pick. I went through all the way up to the moment where I choose to take the position of the southern castle. I decided to delay it a while to finish out other quests. So, I selected not to take the position. The quest didn't complete. So, I figured I'd come back later and continue. I went back to the temple of the one, he's not there. I went to white gold tower, both floors are empty. He's not seeing visitors right now. Where is High Chancellor Ocato?
  9. In the fortress quest after finding the scroll, you go to the fortress. You go into wethyl fortress. I get attacked by knights. If hit them first, I get a murder credit. When someone is running at you with sword, you shouldn't get a murder credit for attacking them. :p When I go inside his relm, beat all the enemies and activate the alters. I get two murder credits for activating the last alter. Need someone to fix this or help me fix it.
  10. I'v played through this DLC many times. It usually works. Now, when I bring my black horse there (quest marker). I go inside and ask my for my armor. I go outside my horse isn't armored. I go back and their still showing armor your horse. The quest is still incomplete.

  13. Both are patched up to my knowledge. I'm 4000+ years in the past, Ignar Roadblock walks up to be and hands me a note. The lore of KOTNR says he shouldn't be able to do that. WTH... In KOTNR, one of merchants has no clothes, Marissa. The first time you go into Alyied building with the slave queen Noemi greets you and going through various dialog. When I you exit the convo, she greets you again and there is no voice dialog. Not really bugs, just of note. Also, there are slight differences between text and voice in some entries. BOSS Log, posted if needed.
  14. I fixed it, I just manually deleted the extra amulet. Oblivion's script code x=1 instead x>0 is one problem.
  15. Thanks for the details. I finally was sure it was working when I installed an Alyied texture set. Gecko's texture set makes those ruins look old, gritty, and dusty. :smile: Also, I used all the reset buttons in all the tabs. Then did BSA redirection. >Oh, and, ever want to force a missing texture error in your game? Just enter a DDS file replacement into your "Archive Invalidation.txt" which doesn't exist outside of its BSA and go look for the model in game which should have the texture. E'viola, a pink, or pitch black/invisible even sometimes, object right in front of your eyes! This file's fun to mess up your game with, when used without caution. I had pink textures, before oblivion last reinstall. I'll keep that in mind.
  16. That tip lead to searching for water height level and oblivion. I found after many articles. It said that clearing 'oblivion.ini' back to defaults was the solution. I made backups of the oblivion folder. So, replaced it the unedited version. Then put back all the memory mods. Yes! Water is back to normal. Thanks...
  17. FYI, I did a count of the weapons. It's 6 combat swords, 3 bows, and various types of arrows. All I made from sigil stones, but sunderblade. Clearing out the ones I didn't use. My total weight is 384. Heh :pirate: Back on topic, so you have three items: Bow type, bow string, and arrow. To simplify, common ones found are cheap mass produced bows and removing the idea of bow strings. High weight and low damage. To keep compatibility, I'll leave them alone. Bow types are (common cheap quality glass, metal, wood) basic, medium quality wood, (better materials: better bow string,, lighter, higher speed bow - higher damage, you can't equip with a minimum 30 strength. I'll write out a table for comment later. Progressing on up to custom made composite high quality glass wood, 5 pounds: ultra-high speed and damage, requires 100 strength to equip. Does 80 pts without the arrow. Custom made bow are start at 128k without any enchantments. The low power cheaply made bows don't have the risk of cracking. Once you get to medium quality bows, if the item damage/wear drops below 70% you get an increasing risk cracking and be beyond repair. Right now, i'm working on the morrowind mod. So, I can't get to this ATM.
  18. Yea, i'm the Champion of Cyrodiil. I saved the world. What would you expect of that champion? :) In any game, you have to keep some realism, leave some room myths and magic. But the swords and bows weight are so unrealistic it's breaking the immersion. My average character weight is about 420 pounds, some configs I need to bring a ton of feather potions. I have dozens of different tactics at my disposal. I rarely die, 1-2 times per full game of oblivion. I'v played 3+ times through without any mods and still beat all the quests without cheating. I carry around all needed items for any enemy or enemies. I never have died more than once against a tough enemy, like the upgraded king of worms. Geez, that combat was epic and brutal! :nuke: Need to comment on that great mod...

  22. FYI.... need to finish reading/studying the above. Need to add this, OBMM when it uninstalls a mod it removes the files, not replacing them with the originals like NMM does right? I was using archive invalidation invalidated. I uninstalled by OBMM, removed the frostcrag esp, causing a crash. I had to manually add the original back in. You need a full obivion directory with all the original files to arc inval invalidated. I'v had to reinstall obivion from scratch. Kvatch crash seems to have been fixed. I found the solution to CTD crash in first person mode. I have the gog oblivion version + script extender gog version. Yes, I was getting the pink textures.
  23. In oblivion you get bows that are 10-20+ pounds. If you carry bows, like I do, 4 bows weigh 80 pounds.FYI, I have one bow for each type combat encounter. Swords: fire, frost, lightning, vampire, akiviri sunderblade Bows: fire, frost, shock, vampire. I might have missed some. I can encounter anything and be ready. :pirate: Bow weight is outright unrealistic and bow damage is worthless, light long bows can inflict huge damage in history(C.M.If.I.A.W). However, the poison arrow mods fixed the one arrow at a time problem. The speed problem still isn't adressed Proposal: Bow weight is set at 5-10 pounds and no longer relates to damage. Daedra's bows are 20 pounds(they like their bows heavy). Cheaper bows weigh more, the more you pay the less it weighs. Found bows usually weigh 20 pounds, very rarely you will find the quality bows. 5 pound bows can cost 10k to 100k+, depending on quality of enchantments or no enchantment. You can buy better bow strings. Cost includes bow and bow string. Lesser quality bow strings will do little damage, very high quality will do huge damage. Your bow has limit based on the quality of bow. Bows types are about the same as the vanilla game, wood, metal, plus composite(combining flexibility with power). Composites can be any combination of metal and wood, most cost. bow + bow string + arrow= damage It takes all three to get good damage. High quality bowstring and bow, means it takes more strength (meaning more arrow speed) and does more damage. Better quality metal tipped arrow, more damage. Damage relates directly to speed of arrow. You must have the strength to use the bow string. High quality bows and bow strings will require very high strength to pull it, else it won't allow you to equip it. A high quality bow string on poor quality bow will crack the bow when you try to use it. I'm currently on my own project for morrowind, so I don't have the time to do this mod. Think on this one...
