  1. Okay this looks interesting, never played Oblivion on the PC so i'm pretty interested in this mod.
  2. Cyrodiil as a whole will assume that you have completed 'that Dark Brotherhood mission' in setting up its content. We are still working on how to handle it if the player has not completed that Dark Brotherhood mission, since the last thing we want to do is pigeonhole people into playing the Dark Brotherhood questline. Babette killed the Emperor. Her or The Jester.
  3. Riisaad's Caravan just stands still outside of Whiterun. They don't set up camp or even stand in their proper location, they just stand there unmoving. i'm able to get them moving again by doing the "resetai" console command on Riisad, but he just comes back the next day standing in that same location. Has anybody else had this bug or know how to fix it? Because i'm completely lost. Here's a screenshot to show you: http://steamcommunity.com/id/Calfurious/screenshot/23961952628912761
  4. Sometimes my game will crash at certain dungeons. A "fix" i've discovered is that sometimes when I came at different times (such as a couple of days later) I can enter the dungeons. Not sure why though. If all else fails, you should check modifies that particular ruin by checking TES5EDIT or uninstalling any fancy texture mods that change nordic ruins.
  5. You should probably uninstall Werewolf mastery, to be honest any mods that add perks or change up combat should probably be uninstalled unless it's explicity stated in the mod description it's compatible with Requiem. I'm not sure about Deadly Combat, but Myztikrice says it's compatible go ahead. Personally I don't think you should bother seeing as combat in Requiem is already difficult enough but to each his own. Also Think of Requiem as a whole new game. It literally changes everything. I highly recommend you read the manual and go on the Skyrimmods/Reddit/Requiem, Reddit page in order to get more information about the mod.
  6. There have been an unknown number of Dragonborn before your Dragonborn. But you are the only Dragonborn of that age. You are even called The Last Dragonborn. You can't be The Last Dragonborn if there are other Dragonborns in Tamriel running around! You are misinterpreting the interviews man. The only two Dragonborn around is the player character (The Last Dragonborn) and Miirak (The First Dragonborn). The Greybeards at the time when you first meet them did not know about Alduin's return or that you were the Dragonborn of the ancient prophecy. Therefore they did not know you were The Last Dragonborn of legend. @notmyhome You are given your Dragonblood as a gift directly from Akatosh, You are not blood related to any of the previous Dragonborn.
  7. That's a very hindsight heavy interpretation. Yeah, sure, as a game we know we win, but in-universe the prophecies of the Elder Scrolls are never 'The Dragonborn will defeat Alduin'. It's always about having a chance, it's never about certain victory. If a mortal stood against Alduin, then the world would be surely doomed. But if a Dragonborn does, there's a chance. Its not a 'be in this place at this time = Win' thing. It is the Hero that decides the outcome of the event, through their success or failure. If Alduin kills you, he eats the world. If you defeat him, he gets banished until round 2. Take Zurin Arctus's quote... Chosen by the gods or not, so long as you are mentioned in the prophecy, you become the Hero. But that prophecy still doesn't pre-write the ending, it only sets the stage. Hmmm true, prophecies never do state that you will win or not. Though to be fair having a prophecy does mean there is some sort of divine being that are working in your favor. You can't deny the fact that having help from powerful deities (whether they may be Daedra, Aedra, or something else) does give you a significant advantage over the common day hero.
  8. Yes Dragonborns BEFORE your Dragonborn. Like Dragonborn in the past centuries or millennium. That doesn't mean that last year a Dragonborn walked up to High Hrothgar and said "what's up!". He is saying that the Dragonborn in the past have fallen due to their arrogance and that this current Dragonborn should not make the same mistake. Quote from the wiki: It's not known how many Dragonborn have arisen over the course of history. TheGreybeards of High Hrothgar warned that many of them met their downfall because the ease with which they learned the thu'um made them arrogant. http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Lore:Dragonborn
  9. I'm not sure whether your Dragonborn's gift will be passed on or not, but I do know previous Dragonborns blood was passed on. For example Alessia and Tiber Septim and Reman Cyrodill (who may or may not be a descendant of Alessia). On the topic of the Greybeards saying they're are more Dragonborn however...you are wrong. They said they simply do not know if you are the only Dragonborn of this age. You could be the only one or there could be hundreds scattered somewhere across the world (highly unlikely seeing as your character is called The Last Dragonborn according to the prophecy). All they know is that the person standing before them is in fact a Dragonborn.
  10. I think it can work. Sometimes not being the chosen one of destiny can make situations more tense. Because without some ancient prophecy behind your back, there is a real chance you could lose against whatever enemy you're facing. As Dragonborn or Neveraine, you had a destiny that was guaranteeing your success. As an ordinary person, you have no protections and you are disposable. IN a way, that makes you even MORE epic when you do conquer your enemy. Because there was no guarantee you would of won.
  11. Vanilla Skyrim is just sad..? Hey man I mod the hell out of my game but lets not tell tale tales now. Skyrim by itself was one of the best RPG's released in 2011 and it's still a great RPG now. It's an action-adventure role playing game. With an emphasis on the action and adventure. If you don't want play game where the objective is to slay monsters and other bad guys, that's on you. But that doesn't mean that game is bad.
  12. There's going to be a TES 6, no doubt about it. I'm thinking it's probably going to take place in either Elwesyr, Valenwood, or The Summerset Isles. Why? Because those places are part of the Aldmeri Dominion. If Bethesda wants to approach that plot line, they'll have to do it one of those provinces.
  13. I think it's a great idea, some people don't use Wearable lanterns ya know. Even if they did, making it so that your horse has it's own personal lighting is just really cool. I say go for it!
  14. Ugh no thanks. In order for you to be a ruler of Skyrim you would have no choice but to stay couped up inside of a castle all day, never being allowed to adventure. Also that doesn't really jive with the TES theme. You can be the leader of factions but not a ruler of an entire province/city. You're a hero, you do your job and then disappear into history.
  15. I read the title in Lemongrab's voice. "UNACCEPTABLE!"
  16. Yeah I hope this mod goes along well. Can't wait to finally be in a Skyrim where the only race that's capable of reproducing are humans.
  17. In response to post #16159510. #16162425 is also a reply to the same post. I've had my problems with the Admins for the Nexus before, but I do have to admit they handle issues like this pretty damn well.
  18. Post your load order and we'll see if you actually have your load order correct :) Post your load order and we'll see if you did everything correctly.
  19. Well as soon as the Steam Summer Sale is done and a few weeks have passed, servers should be back to normal right?
  20. The mod having voice acting would be awesome
  21. When can you show us the kill moves?
  22. Looks like a pretty awesome! I hope you manage to complete this mod because children of other races would be great. To this day i'm still not sure as to why their aren't any elf children in Skyrim. I mean it seems like the Orc Strongholds and The Grey Quarter in Windhelm would be places you would expect children.
  23. There is no fame/infamy system in Skyrim. Which is a shame really.
