  1. Load order? Conflicts? Obvious, that there is something wrong with load order. So more information needed, to help you out with this.
  2. Are you using UFO? Because i have several issues with other followers, vanilla and not vanilla ones, using UFO. Like i cant do anything with Sinmir (the only option is to say "you are dismissed") And with Gorr from INPCs. He always follows me, even if i order him to relax. So i think it must be an issue with UFO. Still, you can tell Atvir to wait right there, and pretend that he is relaxing) I dropped Gorr in Whiterun just outside the Breezhome for a week) And he was guarding it from thieves, while Lydia and others were relaxing inside and drinking my mead to the bottom.
  3. He will talk to you anyway, even if you are visiting not on a main quest. What you say is true and was mentioned many times everywhere. But, you can always just skip conversation. Just turn around and walk away. I guess bethesda just wanted two mix two goals. First - to make it easier for new players (ye ye... not hardcore and all that stuff everyone complains about) Second - to actually show us, that dovahkiin was not so clean and honest.
  4. First thing that comes to mind is RLO and EL&FX are conflicting, since they both affect lights. Same with Character Making Extender and Enchanced Character Edit. I'm not shure about those, never used them, but they do conflict, i guess. Also, your bashed patch should go in the end of load order. + Terra Armors mod needs a body mod, which you may be missing. Before posting this kind of questions you better use search on this site, and see multiple threads, that will help you. And stating that you dont want to read descriptions, but still want to have your game working... Thats kind of dumm. Modding is about solving problems that occure, even if you don't see them. There are always issues. And if you don't like it... well modding is not for you.
  5. This only works if you don't mind abusing game mechanics. And for role-playing it is also worst thing to do. the method you are are talking about is as old as game itself. Same with alchemy and smithing. People started talking about this silly mechanics straight after the game was out. So... No, thanks

  7. Ok... thanks, but it does not look like that. They deal close to no damage on allies. I use SkyRe, but highly doubt, that there is something wrong with AI module. I'll test it more and check for conflicts, but generally have no idea what can be wrong.
  8. Oh, thanks for that. I forgot about those mods. I remember using the mod i posted previously, since that time i wasn't playing skyrim, and now started from scratch with new mod list. Autumn always is Skyrim-time for me. For an odd reason. Something about weather, coming winter and long evenings. And on winter holidays (in russia we have two weeks of holidays after new year celebration) i always play Need for speed. Like every year. But not this year. NFS Run was the worst thing i played. Thanks for reminding of those mods again!
  9. Orsimers actually lived all around Cyrodiil before first Elven states were built on Tamriel. They and the beast-folks were native inhabitants. So i'm not shure if orks lived in Skyrim before Men came, because those who call themselves Reachmen also lived in the Reach before Nords came. If im correct.
  10. Generally what you say is very close to what i am personally thinking. But considering the TES universe, it can all be different. Some time ago i started a thread, where was describing my idea of Alduin's nature. Shortly, after discussion we stated, that from 3 different (physical/magical/astronomical) points Alduin is physical form of a dragon, magically is a part of Akatosh and time, and astronomicaly Alduin is an actual material part of Akatosh(as a planet), an asteroid of some sort. This three different sides mixed together are Alduin. So in my opinion, what we see as a dragon, is in fact a magical cluster. And when Tongues used an Elder Scroll, they simply removed this magical being. Now, im not a master of arcane arts, and don't know how magica flows, but im shure, that Magnus is a source of magic. Also, since Alduin is pure magic, and not a soul, he can not be placed into Void, i guess. Because Void is a place where everything ends its excistence, and it is believed, that souls never return from there. So we dont really know, if Ada have souls, and if they can get into Void. I cant really say, that Alduin can be treated as Ada. Also, a prophesy is an important aspect, that we all totally forgot. Eruption of Red Mountain+Civil War in Skyrim+Oblivion Crysis. We need to connect all this events with what we know. I have no idea yet, but will think about it on way home.
  11. Im here to ask, if there is a mod, that enables friendly fire for npcs. Im rather annoyed with those fire mages spamming spells and killing me, but not their melee allies. Any leads?
  12. Thats possibly because you need an MCM-menu to activate a mod and set it up as you like. Many mods actually use MCM. MCM is a part of SkyUI, which was already mentioned here. I really recommend you installing SkyUI. The MCM can be found in-game. Press esc->find a new category called "mod configuration". Thats it. Very simple and friendly. Generally, many people use body replacers and many varieties of textures. Also, you may like ENB, but since you are new to modding, i would suggest reading about it before you start using it. Another majority concentrates on gameplay enchancements, and not on boobs or graphics. So you may try some of those mods too.
  13. Talking about dawnguard and vampire attacks There is a mod called Dawnguard delayed start, it allows you to set the level, at wich you will have first vampire attacks. Very useful.
  14. Everything you need, you can find in the proper categories on the site. I never used any body mods, so i cant help with that. Same with spells. For gameplay overhaul you should check SkyRe or Requiem. Those are two i got in touch with. As for performance... only one thing, that everybody is talking about: you cant use more than 3,1 gb of ram in skyrim. Its a game restriction. So this is the only thing you should be aware of.
  15. Nice So you focus on Destruction mainly. How about focusing on wards, instead of enchanting all that stuff? Bumping enchanting up to 100 is a long way.
  16. Ok, since im also into immersion and role-playing, i would recommend most of my mod list. Actually, my story is pretty much same as yours, and im generally playing skyrim second time now. So, lets start with ENB. Usually its a massive performance hit. Since you are going to add new locations, and a lot of other mods (i have ~100 .esp in my order), you will have already a quite loaded game. My following mod advices will explain everything. I tried using ENBoost, but it messed up lights and walls got transparent. lol) I managed to solve it, but im done with ENBs. At least for now. Back on mods. For lights i would suggest Climates of Tamriel along with Enchanced Lights and FX. Looks awesome compared to vanilla. Gameplay Overhaul - i use SkyRe, but Requiem is awesome too. Though with Frostfall+RnD i would suggest SkyRe. Here goes a list of many little mods, that affect forgotten aspects in SkyRe. Light scrolls - scrolls are not so heavy. Potions and poisons weights - changes potion weight depending on the bottle size. Gold has weight - pretty much what it does. Even better quest objectives - better descriptions for quests Warburg world map - paper texture for world map. More map markers - markers for more places on the map. Unlimmited rings and amulets - i hate the idea of wearing one ring, so i use this mod to wear... two. Thats my own rule) Now, essentials UI - you know that already iHUD - gives control over the HUD. Unofficial skyrim patches More Immersion and Survival, that i use Dynamic things - new mod that allows you loot wood piles and cut trees and bushes+loot barells and boxes that are not lootable in vanilla. Just essential with frostfall IMO Touring Carriages - i do not fast travel, so this mod is on my list. Footprints - everyone has footprints. NPCs Instead of making my game look better, i loaded much more NPCs curently i use 2 mods Interesting NPCs - adds more than a hundred voiced npcs with quests, unique characters and stuff. Great mod. Inconsequential NPCs - some mass of adventurers, hunters, travellers to add more life in game. As for the new lands, i think there is a variety of dungeon and quest mods, but i havent used them yet. I guess thats it, i have more installed, but hardly remember exact names. Not shure even about those i listed. But you can get general idea and find them. Hope this will help.
  17. Thats a simple radiant kill-dat-badass-bandit-leader-for-100gold quest, so there is nothing special. Also, there is a bunch of bandits in the cave whiterun, and they feel pretty safe))
  18. ;) Those are not russian letters. Those are Czech, i guess. Russian Cyrillic has no apostophes or dashes in most letters. Only two letters are with dashes and dots. й and ё Other russian letters are straight and simple. Yet slavic alphabets are all in fact very similar.
  19. i used Deadly dragons before i made fresh reinstall of everything. And have not installed DD back, and was using old save. I was absorbing souls as usual, so DD should not be an issue.
  20. Right... the only place where you can find it. And this place is just in the novice location. How convenient. And you even get the bounty to go there. Is that me, or it sounds cheaty?))) Just babbling.. The game issues are smth we all are here for. To find them, fix them and enjoy our own game.
  21. Again, wrong way. They return back to life, when disturbed. To return a dead body to life, you need a soul. (Actually that is not true for reanimation spell, but is true for necromancy rituals, and yet necromancers use black soul gems). So you need a soul, or a spell. If a spell is used, then we can not absorb any kind of soul, because there is no one. If it is more relative to necromancy, then it makes sense, but only if white souls were used. And its really wierd. When they return back to life, they remember how to fight, how to shout, and use mixed tactics and magic, wich are human tactics, and i never saw a draugr moving like a rabbit. Also, i would say that you need a rather big soul, to create such a powerful being.
  22. I was expecting this. We have not only iron mines but all kinds of mines in Skyrim. If you can make silver out of iron, then why Silverblood has profit?) Darwater mine has tonnes of iron, they hire one wizard, and thats it. Monopoly on silver/gold. No sence. Just another mistake in game economics. There is no ecomocs at all, actually. We need like constant amount of gold for npc's all over skyrim + treasures. Actually, it would be much more fun if they added philosophers stone.
  23. If you are on novice, then it must be some issues with you mods. I haven't played Falskaar yet, but you should read Falskaar description carefully, may be it is not levelled even with vanilla game, so you are just to low-levelled for that place.
  24. Well, from this point it kind of makes sense. But i really doubt this. Does this mean, that mentally weak or mad people also have white souls? I dont think so...
