  1. rattlemebones, man, you are absolutely wrong even within your own theory. One of your arguments was about evolution. So even considering that in fantasy universe evolution is same as in real world, you are wrong. Because wings are actually front limbs you are looking for. Evolution. Also, everyone is against your absurd arguments, which might mean smth, right? We all gave numerous reasons, why you are wrong. And still you say, we are those, who never give up, even if not right. Maybe its you?
  2. Well i clearly remember that someone promised Db a place in Sovngard. Though Sovngard is only for nords. That is a very interesting aspect. And actually even more proves what Lachdonin said above.
  3. Most of the mods you gonna need are still in the top-rated files section. The only one im not shure about is the first you mentioned. Time-telling. But i guess there is one on nexus. I would also suggest using CCO. It brings back classes from Oblivion, which is cool.
  4. They do have front legs, that are wings, sir. Your statement is true only when you mean a mythological kind of creature, which is supposed to have both 4 legs and wings. But i might say, that even not all dragon-kind creatures from legends had that number of limbs. So your statement has no reason. Its up to devs, how the creatures look. With the same reason you can say, that orcs should be big and stupid, and talk like hulk. No sense.
  5. I guess they tried to show the whole situation in empire
  6. Very hard to write it all down, but i ll try to be short. We all know about the dragon guard and that stuff. I just meant, that as organisation, blades are on themselfs now. With no support from empire. Which turns them in a different group. Dragon guard was not just dovah-slayers. Niether Akaviri were. And now blades are just bunch of dragon hunters with no expirience and knowledge. Again, i say, Blades were not just bodyguards. And now they are just a group of adventurers. This means, they are not Blades anymore. And i dont think, that dragonborn really needs them, especially after his Solstheim travel. Its only the memmories and name, that connects those groups. As for the GB, why someone would offence against them? They are completely off the war track. And from usual life too, actually. So even if Db wanted to make a fortress at their place, they will not support him. My main point was not about GB, but about P. I say, no way he could stop another dragon war. Delay, may be. Not prevent. Wich means, P. would die in fight with dragon hunters, or other dovah. And since there is no excisting strong opponent for dragons, it may be the begining of another dragon-rule ages. But this also means, that may be P. should live, as a guarantee of that delay. This part is very weak, its only guesses.
  7. I agree with you in some way. My reasons are different. Actually i don't think, that rebuiding the blades will change situation. Why would Db do that. Since there is no more Septim dynasty, and all the knowledge and forts and artifacts of the blades are lost, how the hell an old man and woman are going to restore the power? Restore the traditions, and all that stuff. The only relic they have, is a damn rock with a prophesy. And how are they going to fight dragons with those recruits? Also, Thalmor won't allow them to act freely. I gues this is just a way to defend themselves. Simple egoistic fear of being cought. Talking about killing P. There are pro- and contra- Defenetly dragons are no good for mortals. Mostly. Even though P says about peace an etc etc. I don't believe Dovah will ever forget the dragon war and revolts of humans. On the other hand - Greybeards support him, but also they are known to make wrong decisions. They are already not that strong, so supporting them is also no sense. Actually what they do, is just clear sky time-to-time and meditating. And they also have no students. Killing P will change nothing, except relations between Db and others. Also If you kill P., other dragons would start fighting for leadership after A. is banished. That can turn into a big problem.
  8. In addition to written above Take a paper, and write down the details, that will affect your char. Believe me, you will need it) Every time you take a line in the dialogue, check, if it fits your list of character. Thats what i did, when tried to play different role. Was very useful for the first time, cause i always was making old-role decisions. Just in the habit) And also, when you set up rules for your RP, try as much avoid breaking them, as possible. I would recommend using one save file and use it only when exiting the game.
  9. I meant general weakening of the mortal world. I thought all of them want to conquest plane of living. So appearing of heroes, who bring changes, is how they try to set chaos. Seems i was wrong all the time. *starts reading "Children's Anuad"* I see now. I was missing this "epic-hero-superman" statement. But then it makes even less sense for me. No, it actually makes a lot more sense. Now, when i think about it. Good point though, the scroll itself can be a source of power? So it can affect the battle of three, right?
  10. Absolutely agree with you. Had the same problem in Markarth. After visiting Boethia shrine (i spell that right?) i just said "kill one of my followers? Nah thanks, i should not mess with this." Speaking of different daedra worshipping. I guess if you promise your soul to several evil princes, they will somehow split it, or may be torn in pieces. That sounds fair for someone, trying to get as much power at any cost. But i wonder if it is possible in the lore, to split souls. Never heard about it. EDIT: Okay, so in different topic guys gave me a hint, that none of usual mortal stuff affects the scrolls-chosen champion. I wonder, if this means, that your soul is bounded with a scroll itself. Which means it cant be taken, unless the scroll is destroyed.
  11. I like Gorr from INPCs mod Since several follower overhauls appeared, i like to recruit 4-5 ppl
  12. This explains, why i found her sleeping on the ground. I thought like "Seriously Bethesda? U care so much about children and this girl just sleeps here outside on the snow. And nobody cares about her. Townsfolk and guards, somebody?" Someone should check, if she is a vampire. That is an interesting point.
  13. Actually its not that simple. HM says, that you can have his knowledge and favor, but this will remain only until Morra likes you. This means at some point dragonborn more likely will be killed by another champion, seeking knowledge and having potential. This may or may not happen, but its not that simple as you say. Not a usual deal with Belethor. I admit, that you can do what you want, HM wont stop you and will support with endless info. But only until he likes you. Otherwise you will have tentacles coming all through your body.
  14. This just means, that in the end dragonborn will replace miraak, and if you don't like it, old Morra will replace you with someone else. Its pretty much in TES lore, to tie a hero with a daedric lord. Just a way to end a story and show, that no mortal can reach the power of gods. The more power you want, the more you will pay for it. Its a known fantasy trick. Personaly i try not to mess with daedra at all. I worship Kyn, Mara and Zenithar. Also have nothing against Azura, Meridia, Sheogorath and the "drinking&sniffin daedra". Forgot his name. But others are very dangerous. Sanguin, thats his name, right?) You can easely work with them with no harm to your reputation i guess...
  15. god, i now spent hours thinking and reading this You guys are deep into lore, so can you explain me a little So my point is all of the heroes finally find their fate being driven by some daedra willing. This makes me confused. (Actually im confused for few years lol) On the one hand, you say about their Aedra-kind appearing, but then, why they mess with daedric cults and even daedric princes? This is kind of against your Divine theory. I guess if you are Divine blessed, you should have kind of allergy on those cults and stuff, right?) Then, if i am right, it means PC have nothing to do with "reborn" heroes of past. At least it affects dragonborn, because his fate is very closely tied with achieving knowledge, and with HM. Beth for sure shows us, that dragonborn is very far from divine worshipping. Very different with the coc. For sure, daedra wanted him to stop excisting. He got the relics, showing his faith. And then comes Sheo. So this means, sheo just removed such a powerful hero. Because its what daedra do. Try to keep mortals as weak as possible. Im not talking about N cause it was long ago, so i dont remember details, that are important. Each word in dialogs is important. So can somebody reply, if my thoughts are at least a little right? Sorry for possible mistakes
  16. Really, cant believe there is no working wabbajack with expanded effects ? Maybe someone can give an advice of such mod? cause i cant find any working
  17. @Elsarian True, Economics of skyrim is great, and what you say fits perfectly, but its a huge project. How about taxes for having a horse ? like transport tax ?))))
  18. I have an idea for this ! Give every race a kind of ability to use: To scare/reason an enemy. Then deppending on your level/fame/skills it simply rolls dices (Oh lovely DnD) and decides, if you succeded... Btw imperials have a Voice of Emperor, wich works in this way, but 100% succes. Also needs to be fixed - not to work on forsworn, talmor and stormcloaks factions.
  19. I dont think that it will give immersion Why im forced to go to the inn ? If someone likes immersion, he will go to such place anyway. Also, many immersive-players have basic needs or same kind mod installed, which forces to visit inns. For real hardcore-RP there can be a character hating crowds of ppl, or may be he hates music or such things, so... for Lore-hardcore-immersive player (as i am now) there is no point in this mod. And for those who play vanilla-style, with crushing few heads with one smash, this mod absolutely has no reason to have. So... in my opinion this mod will have no use. Its like forcing someone to smoke while riding a motorbike, for ex xDDDD
  20. not a bad idea, may be not only property tax, but some other random taxes like... tax for wolve-hunt / fixing smth / other purposes and they will be randomly generated with different chances, may happen or not. Some kind of unpredictible...
  21. The work you doin is great i vote for more quest details in descripton, so one can desable compass in his head and a map marker and really look for that damn sweet vampire cave in mountains, using only description. And in vanilla the journal is really poor. there already exists a mod like this, if im right in mind, but never tried it yet
