  1. Check the Language setting in steam (right click on skyrim in the library, properties, language). Check your Skyrim.ini (my documents\My games\skyrim) aswell, there has to be a line "sLanguage=ENGLISH" under [General]
  2. So I'm switching to use two swords, but the Skyrim implementation sucks :pinch: Worked trough a lot of stuff to get Dual Sheath Redux to work, but the java powered patcher just won't work. He keeps telling me, that I don't have the sheathredux.esp installed. After watching a video on how it should look, I noticed, that it seems the patcher doesn't recognises any .esm or .esp at all... Just runs boss (says it least) and give me the missing .esp message. Nothing is installed on C:\, so I doubt it's a permission issue. BOSS is installed via the installer and located under E:\, registered in Win7 like it should. Any ideas on this?
  3. yes, there are, more than one actually. just use the search on the skyrim nexus ;)
  4. Are you running anything else skyrim related? like wryre bash, BOSS or FOMM while these errors occour? I got the second error yesterday, while trying to install a mod while wryre was messing with my already installed mods Edit says: same warning if the .esp or .esm files in the data folder were changed while NMM was running
  5. May be another mod, I've experienced something similar with soul capturing (with "Enchanting Awakened"). After I loaded the last save again I got teleportet back to a location where a captured a few souls, but didn't get the random buff I was supposed to get. Maybe connected. Other than that, no idea. Can you pinpoint it to certain animations? and a list of your mods might help, in case there are conflicts Did you ran BOSS?
  6. have you tried uninstalling/deactivating one after one? would help to know where the problem comes from. If you/we know that, we have a entry point to look for the issue.
  7. uff, maybe you should try a clean reinstallation of skyrim + mods. A savegame clean may also help. I got rid of many CTDs and f*#@ed up textures that way. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/31724/?tab=1 http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/52363/?tab=1 These two have proven to be very helpful to me. Good luck^^
  8. The layout doesn't actually change anything on how to use the NMM, just the looks and sorting. Just download the mods with NMM, wait till finished, double click the mod to install and off you go ;)
  9. As far as I know thats because of a very large amount of new users since the steam summer sale. -> http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/? In short: The acces to the nexus web pages works fine with the new implemented system, but the download servers are still running on a easier, yet less effective file system and can't handle all the requests. They're working on it. But you should check your connection and firewall, just to be sure  and keep trying, you'll come trough sometime
  10. Repost, since I have new info, hence a new problem. Making EA a parent worked, thanks for that. I also got the perk I wanted ingame, showing correctly, but the actual effect Im trying to achieve just doesn't show up. I've made a 5 ranked perk, which alters the "Mod # applied enchantments allowed", and skilled it ingame, but when I want to enchant something, I'm stll only able to make two enchantments. I've tried with multply value, as well es added values, but neither of them seems to make any difference. I moved EA with my mod at the end of the load order, to ensure that nothing conflicts (altough I'm pretty sure that nothing would), but it's still not working. Are there any other values besides "Mod # applied enchantments allowed" I'll have to change? I couldn't find anything related to enchantments, except the perks. Edit says: Got it. Problem was the prior perk, which said "set value" and was treated with the same priority as my new perk, which said multiply -> "set value" had overwritten my multipliers all the time. Instead of making a new perk I extended the existing one. Works now. If I get a positive response from the original author I'll upload it, in case anyone's interested
  11. Ah, that looks promising. I'm going to try it  Thanks in advance
  12. Hey guys (and girls of course), I'm currently working on a few personal tweaks for my main Skyrim playtrough. I'm using Enchanting Awakened,, which I want to alter for my personal use (maybe published if egocarib gives me permission), but I ran into trouble doing so. What I want: A higher number of enchants on my gear. I would prefer to do so without modding the original mod. What I tried: 1. Adding a new perk above the three end-perks, which allowed more enchants per item. Resulted in breaking the perk tree ingame almost completly, similiar to the attached screens, just with only one perk at the very top. 2. Modding the three end-perks to give a higher number of enchants. My intend was to overwrite the original perks by my modded ones, which get load at last. Ingame result was: nothing 2.1: After reloading Enchanting Awakened with my little alteration in the CK I figured out that the intendet overwrite just didn't worked, because the perk IDs were identical, so my modded perks where marked as duplicated. I tried to replace the original perks with mine, which resulted in the two screens below. In case the screens are too tiny (had to resize them to upload here): The perks after the second tier (except essence gambit) just disappeared (so eight are missing) until the last tier. These are the modded versions, with correct tooltip, in the right position, but unobtainable, because.. well... there is stuff missing. So far I only made a few personal mods for New Vegas or Skyrim to alter the appearence of certain armors or to make special arrows. Altough I watched a few Youtube tuts, this is the first time I'm messing with perks and I have no idea how to proceed. I hope i made myself clear, my english may be a bit rusty
  13. Are you using a custom race or a vanilla one? Did you something after you clicked "create Bodies", except starting Skyrim?
  14. Mh, I never used those, except the 2k and blood textures, so I've no idea what it should look like. But I think a pair full screenshots with and without mods would provide a better insight for other users with exp regarding those mods
  15. Difficult to see, since the river is the only thing visible in both sides of the picture. Which graphic mods did you use exactly?
  16. Yes, there should be a option in the NMM which looks like this after clicking on the little arrow right of "launch skyrim" If you set it to launch skse it will use it and skip the steam launcher. If the "Launch SKSE" option isn't there, try to install skse via the installer again (make sure it gets the right path to skyrim's install directory) and restart the NMM.
