  1. You could install the mods one by one and test in between if the spells are still working. But I too doubt it's worth the time and effort, considering the low importance of the spells and the author(s) doesn't seem too enthusiastic to find out what's causing it.
  2. I assume you are using loot? From the sound of it I would guess it's either another mod which conflicts or, more likely, a bug in the mod/error during install. When you've re-installed everything, did you downloaded the mod with the new spells anew or did you take your old download? If the latter, download it again and use the fresh archive to re-install the mod. Maybe it's just a incomplete download. Did you check if others have similiar problems on the mod's page?
  3. Everything except AA&co sure is something to handle, but a FPS drop from 40 to 19 with even a lightweight ENB setting seems a bit too much. Did you try using just the ENBoost by setting UsePatchSpeedhackWithoutGraphics=false ? If your frame drops even with that setting the problem is not related to too much load on your videocard. Sounds more like a software problem then.
  4. That setup should indeed be able to handle a lot... Did you check for the newest videocard drivers? I know that's a pain in the ass with laptop cards sometimes :pinch: Are you using any other graphic related mods e.g. texture packs? When using a new enblocal.ini, did you change the [Memory] settings according to your card?
  5. Ah yes, didn't saw your second post, I guess you posted it seconds before I posted mine  If you decide to make a clean install, do it from scratch and download/install everything a new. Otherwise you can never be 100% what to keep or what might have been replaced by a mod. To do so uninstall the game and then manually delete every remaining folder/file in your former Skyrim directory. That way you get rid of everything mod related.
  6. I would recommend to get the unofficial Skyrim patch aswell, altough I don't think it will help in this case. If you're not on a low-end pc, get rid of the official HighRes pack, it's known to cause instability (even with the unofficial patch for this one) and is inferior to the most community made texture packs. Other than that: get TES5Edit and follow the cleaning guide to clean the official DLCs. Those contain dirty edits, which can also lead to CTD.
  7. https://github.com/loot/loot/releases/tag/v0.6.0 Download that, install and run it. It analyses your mods and sorts them in the best way to avoid conflicts.
  8. You are missing a plugin, which is required by one of your active plugins. Look trough them with a mod manager and check which dependencie is missing
  9. Did you check if that cell's got overwritten by another mod in your loadorder?
  10. If you want a clean install, always do it from scratch. If you just deleted the .esm and .esp in your data files there are still a bunch of mod files left. scripts, textures, meshes etc. Since your Skyrim crashes before the main menu it tries to load something, but can't, probably because you deleted that.
  11. gandalf the grey already? :P nice solution, didn't even heart about that one
  12. Just delete the .ini files camaro mentioned and then start the skyrim launcher. It will generate those .inis anew with default settings. To make sure: You downloaded the SKSE installer, ran it in your windows explorer and it installed itself in the directory where your TESV.exe is located? And still you get a error message from SkyUI ingame, complaining about not having SKSE?
  13. Don't see what you did wrong with the spoiler, but anyway. Did you take a long on the report? it already suggest some thinks, like the hearthfires patch, cleaning some mods, getting some compability patches etc. Follow those tips, that will fix some issues. Regarding your initial problem, after LOOT has sorted your plugins, is there any change to your problem?
  14. if your title means, that you used NMM to install SKSE, you did not install it correctly. use the SKSE installer version from the SKSE download page, run the installer. don't use NMM for SKSE, it can not work.
  15. of course you get an error from SkyUI, your SKSE isn't properly installed. did you use the installer I told you about or did you use NMM to install skse again? besides, as boombro said: if you want to make a screenshot, just press "Print", that's the button right of F12, then go to paint and press Ctrl+V, then save. Much easier that way and makes a much better image. I don't know where the loot error comes from though, you'll have to google that one.
  16. As far as I know you just can combine some of the settings by modifying the enblocal.ini. it's like a config file.
  17. My guess: Size does matter, since it messes around with scaling. don't know how the mod works, but it's likely with scripts and one of those seems to mess with you, instead of the npcs^^
  18. sounds like your char was set to be essential, like important NPC which can only be killed with a certain quest. I know there are ways and mods to do that, but how and which you'll have to look up yourself. I guess there is a connection somewhere
  19. that's your decision ;) I use NMM, maybe because it's a convenience for me, since I use it since Fallout: New Vegas. I see why the way MO works has it's advantages, but that also comes along with other problem the NMM just doesn't have. Plus I'm experienced in working with a PC in general and with how to mod bethesda games as well. Since you're new to this, MO might be a good choice to start with though. not so easy to screw anything up, which is likely to happen sooner or later^^
  20. Noticed that in the loot window too, but I just noticed that TESEdit doesn't actually saves with some plugins. I've just tried with Dark Brotherhood Resurrection Part 1 and I simply can't get rid of the last two dirty nav edits. The comments say which ones have to be removed, but after I've done that und hit save, it creates a edited version of the original .esp. If I close TES5Edit after that, this edited ersion just disappeares, without any change to the original .esp (looking at the last modified date). And even if I copy the edited version and use it to manually replace the original .esp, the dirty navmeshes are there again when opening the file again. Looks like the deleted mashes are replaced every time they get removed.
  21. http://skse.silverlock.org/ it says installer ;) LOOT analyses your load order and sorts it in the best possible way, you'll read about that, at least in the sticky I postet above. and to prevent confusion: LOOT is the successor of BOSS and superior in what it does and the way it accomplishes that.
  22. yes, definetly install loot. Since it's a costum follower I guess the install isn't done right and some thinks like.. well, everything except the head and the npc itself is missing. No idea why though. Regarding the SKSE: download the installer for SKSE, it's much easier. it autodetects your skyrim folder and install everything. you just have to download it, execute, click through it and you are done with that and should not have problems with skse ever again. Btw, I was serious about the reading up thing  edit: for a start: http://www.reddit.com/r/skyrimmods/comments/1raae9/the_great_big_list_of_skyrim_modding_technical/
  23. How did you install SKSE? it must not be installed via NMM, because NMM is only able to manage the "data" folder in your skyrim directory. But SKSE belongs into the main directory where the TESV.exe is. In most cases there is no particular order in which mods have to be installed, but make sure to always read the mod descriptions properly, especially the requirements and install notes. What does matter is the load order, but for that there is LOOT. I would recommend that you read up on skyrim modding, before you proceed. Regarding the load order there is a nice sticky here on the nexus. I don't have a link, but I'm pretty sure there are good introductions to the basics of how to mod your skyrim. If you've done that, you are a few steps closer to modding skyrim in the way that pleases you the most. That may sound like very much effort for a game, before even playing it, but Skyrim is wonderful in it's diversity, easily carrying you away with more and more mods. But if you don't know what you are doing, you'll end up with an unplayable setup faster than you can say Gwunawunga.
  24. sounds like the meshes were'nt installed, but the .esp was. Strange, but could be either faulty downloads (unlikely in so many cases) or a permission issue. Do you have your skyrim in the default steam directory in C:\.... ?
  25. how does it tell you SKSE is not running? I guess a popup on startup. when you are ingame, hit escape and look if there is a display like in the screenshot. How did you install SKSE? did you use the installer or did you move the files manually? In any case, download the installer and run it, should autodetect your skyrim, but double check that. Regarding the ENBoost, start looking under downloads, it's not that it's hidden in the depths of a bazillion sub menus ;) you are looking for a enb file especially for Skyrim
