  1. Hi there, I'm just having a general look around for some great little mods with small effects, or non-noticeable integration, such as Active Wasteland or Duplet. Here's my load order, so you can see what I already have. Just to make it clear, I'm not looking for any more big game changes or graphics/weather mods, unless they are very light weight. Thanks. 2. Well, you brought a mac. Does mac have basic usb ports? If so, can't you just buy a cheap regular mouse and use that?
  3. Password lengths are relative to science skill. So if you science is 25 you'll get a 7-letter password, if it's 100 you'll get 4 or 5 letters. It's not a glitch, it's in the vanilla game.
  4. Just saw this: http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/tracker/issue-9309-this-could-be-the-reason-for-error%3ferr%3dfile-exist-httpnewvegasnexusmodscomnews1015/ Download will be down for a least a day, probably more
  5. It's happening on the site as well. Download servers are down, I guess
  6. What value in the fire rate box in the GECK would correspond to 150 rpm?
  7. First things first, remove 'Project Nevada - OWB (No Cyberware). You have project nevada - cyberware, so you don't need that. Furthermore, make sure you go to the Mission Mohave page and download all the relevant patches, along with going to the 'Project Nevada - Patches' page (search that in the nexus) and downloading all of those relevant patches.
  8. Which executable are you using to launch the game? FNV4GB or something else?
  9. Update: So, I found the fix. Fallout Fullscreen does not like FNV4GB V1.6. So you simply follow this link: http://nvse.silverlock.org/beta/fnv4gb_nvse.zip, which will download an older version of FNV4GB that is compatible with NVSE 2b12, Fake Fullscreen 2.2, and FNV 1.4.
  10. So, I've got the NVSE version of FNV4GB. I've put all the files in the relevant places, but upon loading the Fallout_Fullscreen.exe the game goes through to first four loading screens, then when it gets to the title menu, a pop-up appears saying 'Fallout is not running'. The game then does work, but remains in windowed mode and does not transition to full screen, and seems to have even worse performance. Any ideas on how to fix it?
  11. I was just wondering if there are any mods that add weight to ammo in normal mode. I like that aspect of Hardcore mode, just not the rest of it.
  12. What with the Fallout 3 G.E.C.K. having no duplicate function (or if there is, I need direction to it), when I tried creating my own custom armour, I opened both a new armour page and the armour page of the armour I wanted to copy, and copied everything exactly. Now, the textures are all messed up. What with there being no missing textures, it must be a mesh issue, as you can see in these photos: http://s1274.photobucket.com/albums/y426/LtRhapthorne/ I think the problem exists in the "World Object" box. That folder didn't exist naturally, I had to unpack the BSA to find it and then link to it. For those who know, the armour is supposed to look like FWE's default Heavy Armour. Any help appreciated. EDIT: And yes, I do have Archie Invalidation working, as you can see in the mods by the number of mod objects running.
  13. Slightly off-topic, but New Vegas has a Wanderer's Edition now? Since when? (I stopped playing NV on pc about 1 month after Project Nevada was released) What edition is it now?
  14. Do you have Broken Steel installed? Broken Steel adds a couple of radiation generators (most spoiler free way to describe it) outside one house. Was it the house with the trap door?
  15. You can circumvent the issue. In the Fallout Stutter Remover ini, there is an option called "Fast Exit". Change that from a 0 to 1. The game should close instantly upon pressing the exit game button now
  16. Sweet jesus christ the lord at that load order. Are you sure BOSS didn't fix it? If not, download FO3Edit and run it. It should tell you what the problem is if it crashes upon load (sounds like a problem with FOSE)
  17. A) You should only use OLD FoMM V12.6 for Fallout 3. It was set up for it, and is just far more stable and configurable. B) Have you downloaded the DarnUI for FWE patch on the FWE page? If not, then download and install that. Did you install both DarnUI and the hotfix using the package manager? If not, do that first. If you have done all these steps, then download the Unified HUD Project (http://fallout3.nexusmods.com/mods/15771) and activate it using the package manager. If you follow all these steps and it still doesn't work, report back here.
  18. Make sure Remastered is loaded last AT ALL TIMES, and that it is NOT included in any merged patches. You SHOULD be able to use UF3P and Remastered. Remember, load UF3P at the VERY TOP (i.e. below Zeta if you have all the DLC) and Remastered at the VERY BOTTOM.
  19. My load order is becoming very full now a days, what with so many mods having mutiple .esp (I'm looking at you, FWE and MMM) I was thinking about merging, and had done so before with FO3Plugin, but that was just merging No Knocked over Comments with the No ? Comments (I forget the name.). It was basically just adding 3 entries. Now, things like FWE DLC modules are obviously many times more complex, and I've heard FO3Plugin has a problem with FormLists? Can I use that utility, or is it the much more complex case of going into the GECK and manually recreating the esp inside another esp?
  20. StreetLights.esm DEFINANTLY goes above Broken Steel
  21. So, I've installed NMC's texture pack (PERFORMANCE), Project Beauty HD, and a host of other mods ( I can PM a load order if necessary). I notice that usually, my performance is pretty good. However, when firing weapons, or being in the vicinity or people firing weapons, I get a lot of slowdown. Is there anything specific I can do (e.g. Tweaking a couple of unnecessary graphics options to get a few FPS (I'm currently running maximum everything)) or is it just a general performance issue due to how many textures I have.
