  1. So what? Doesn't change the fact that Beth should be fixing what's already out, not milking dollars from people for content that would only create more bugs. Simple matter is, Beth shouldn't even be handing out flyers until the fix all the bugs that STILL exist in Skyrim.
  2. Time to update the error page(s): "The site has run in to a problem, please look at the error message below... The file you uploaded was over the file size limit for this site. Images have a max size of 1.5MB, files have a max size of 300MB." Thanks! And while you're at it, up the limit for the photos. :)
  3. You have to admire the passion and creativity put into this, even if it isn't your thing. There's real talent there and this took a lot of work.
  4. You're playing a game on your PC designed for consoles. All the "HD" textures in the world won't solve that.
  5. I've been peddling this around for ages hoping to get this made... http://i559.photobucket.com/albums/ss33/Luke631_2009/Divky/art-heavy-metal-08.jpg
  6. They're totally borked as of the last patch. If they're that bad for you, disabled them in the console by typing tm and return. Grass gone. As I understand it, in certain situations (like yours) that glitch becomes a part of your save so no ini trickery has been found to fix it, although you could try setting fShadowBiasScale to 1.0 I was able to "fix" my game by disabling them (console:tm) making a fresh save, setting the ini and them re-enabling the grass.
  7. SKSE is the Skyrim Script Extender - it allows modders to add additional functionality to their mods, like scripts, inventory hacks, follower hacks, etc. Many mods require it. ScriptDragon is a plugin system, you can simply add plugins to do various things; HorseSummon.ai is a good one. SkyBoost is/was a program patched many of the poorly programmed elements of Skyrim. It had a very big impact but I don't believe it's still needed.
  8. Fraps is fine. Just make sure to install Skyrim/FRAPS on different drives.
  9. On the bright side, batgirl is finally off the main page.
  10. Pretty ...misleading. Gameplay footage would be nice but in the end, it's still another console port. Yawn.
  11. Only guesses for now but at least it's "tomorrow" now. :)
  12. Open console, click on the NPC. Type setnpcweight 0 [return[ setnpcweight 100 [return] Close console.
  13. Nice. As a bonus, the 5GB file size pushes people into the 64bit realm. Finally. :)
  14. Speculation mounts... http://skyrim.jpn.org/images/68/6891.jpg
  15. I find it hard to care. I hate that Skyrim was built from the console down. Beth's attitude is "well, we'll release it using 1998 technology and let the fanboys polish it up'. Nice. How about: - Real multi-core support? - DX11 - Uh FIX THE @%&^@*^ SHADOWS! - A UI that wasn't built for thumb-tards - True 64bit/LAA enabled and optimised code? Don't get me started. DLC or not, I refuse to further $upport Beth until they get a decade. Or three.
  16. It's to be expected from Beth, that's always been their attitude; milk the consoles for what their worth and we'll let the fanboys will fix the f-ups on the PC.
  17. Beth have always said the 360 was getting the first DLCs. Lots of sources on this, here is only one: "Microsoft has announced that the first two DLC releases for Skyrim will be timed excluives on the 360. That means that the Xbox 360 users will have access to the DLC a full 30 days prior to, well, everyone else..."
  18. http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/imageshare/images/508163-1334618606.jpg Bethesda is teasing some sort of reveal for Tuesday. It could be that they're finally going to announce the first downloadable content for Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. "Tomorrow," tweeted Bethesda earlier today. The company attached an image, above, to the tweet. It shows an unkempt man sitting in darkness. If it's a Skyrim character, I suppose he'd be a Nord. He doesn't look like he's wearing much, if any, clothing. Is he a prisoner? While nothing about the picture specifically points to Skyrim, it seems likely that Bethesda will announce the first add-on for Skyrim tomorrow. They said last week that they were on the verge on revealing DLC details. All we know about Skyrim's DLC is that they'll be few in number but large in size. Many are expecting expansion packs, like Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion's Shivering Isles. Whatever form this new content takes, they're going to be released on Xbox 360 first. At first I thought it was fake, the shadows don't look like they were built using LEGOs but it was attached to Bethesda's official Twit account... We'll see. EDIT: Mystery solved...
  19. Seriously, I don't see any problem with this but I'm not a mod so who knows. Some of it is dark, maybe I'm not seeing something?
