  9. "Generally, I would avoid using any mods that change leveled lists, whether they change items, creatures or NPCs, with OOO, unless you know exactly the extent and effect of the resulting mixture" Quote from the OOO website under Compatibility List I made the word "items" bold. It's a huge site; the scope of his work is very impressive. There are also instructions on using Wrye Bash. Hope this helps, Stormraven
  10. I don't use OOO, but my understanding is there is not much it doesn't change in terms of game play. Overhaul is Overhaul. The problems you are most likely running into are the leveled lists that may be determining what will be in the merchant inventories. It sounds like you really love this Survival Suite mod. You may have to make a decision about which mod is more important to you. As a rule, I personally avoid game overhaul mods. I know they go to a great deal of trouble to avoid conflicts with other mods and many mods will tell you in the readme that they are compatible with this or that OM but many do not. If you decide to go with OOO you may need to check the readmes of every other mod, you install to make sure there are not going to be any conflicts. I like to "play" in the construction set so I have to keep things simple. Someone who better understands OOO can probably go into detail on how you might go about resolving this particular conflict. I'm sure some one somewhere can solve the problem. The place I would go is the OOO thread here or at bethsoft for help. Good luck, BTW I think OOO has a website of its own. Try this as a place to start. Oscuro's Oblivion Overhaul 1.3 Readme http://jorgeoscuro.googlepages.com/ooo1.3readme.html Thanks,
  11. Yes, I did read the title. No, I do not read minds. Yes, I do know how frustrating this can be. You might get lucky if some one comes along who has had the same problem and knows the solution can tell you exactly what to do, but I wouldn’t hold my breath waiting for that. It happens but not very often. Can you export the load order and then paste it into the thread. For some reason the image you posted is not legible on my monitor. (OBMM can export the load order to .rtf, pull the .rtf up in Word or WordPad then copy paste into comments field) As load orders can be changed by mod dates (this happens all the time), I’ll need to know which mod you physically loaded last. I will assume that the voices stopped after you loaded the last mod. Quick Check: Disable the last mod you loaded. Restart your computer, which should completely reinitialize your ram. Start Oblivion, and load an old save. If this resolves the problem then we know the last mod is conflicting with a mod already installed. The next question is, how badly do you need that last mod. If the answer is, “I can’t live without it”, then report back with the results, and we can try to figure out which mod it is conflicting with. Are you with me so far?
  12. Describe the problem in a little more detail please. :wallbash:

  15. The following is not an advertisement, it is just good advice  , from someone who has been programming, fixing, and working with computers, for over two decades. I don’t know how I survived before I started using Norton Ghost. (One of several good applications out there) It creates an image of your drive. Then if you make changes, install software, or get creamed by a virus. No Problem. You just restore your saved image. Bingo you’re back in business. The Problem Never Happened! :excl: It has saved me weeks of time. Literally. I create a backup image before every major Install or Change I make, so instead of starting from scratch I just restore the last backup image and I’m ready to go. There are some tricks to using it or any other Drive Imaging software but its nothing compared to the benefits. I always create an image before the install of Oblivion so it’s easy to go back and install new hardware drivers, software drivers, and Windows Updates. (Image 1) And I can always use this image to do “clean” installs of Oblivion, Updated Patches (Official & Unofficial), and the latest versions of my Mod Managers and other Game Utilities. (Image 2) Then I create an image once those are installed and I have saved one game in the Imperial Prison. (Image 3) I have a group of mods that I have tested and I know are problem free. I install those, start the game up and go up a level or two. Then I create another image (Image 3) I am now free to install new untested mods check for conflicts, sort out problems, and decide which ones to keep and which ones to toss. I then restore Image 3 install the mods I want to keep and create my Oblivion Master Image (Image 4). Creating each backup image takes less than ten minutes (on my machine). This process may seem like a lot of work, but it is nothing compared to the days and even weeks of tearing my hair out  trying to find the needle in the haystack that caused a problem, only to find out in the end that I have to wipe the disk clean and start over from scratch >:( . Hope this helps someone out there. Any questions, I will be happy to reply. Storm Raven
