  1. Find the Mopy folder (where your FalloutNV.exe is), open up templates and copy the bashed patch.
  2. "Oh, and I'm spending the coming two weeks in a rainforest. Don't expect an update on Æsir Armor soon, but rest assured in the knowledge of me having made a great amount of progress over the past few weeks. It's close, very close." He is back now, so I would assume no he has not abandoned anything. He is simply living his life as well.
  3. This is a good one: http://newvegas.nexusmods.com/mods/49331
  4. Thats the way it was when I first modded for Skyrim, so its pretty much what I figured that they really didnt know what they where talking about. Thank you all. :)
  5. So, I am going to check over my mod to make sure its all compatible with the new DLCs that have come out. Now I have had several people (who are not modders) claim tons of modders have added NEW sections for the tanning rack and smithing, I personally dont really believe them. Is that really true that you can now add NEW custom selections in the craft menu, so instead of using say the Hide section I could make my own Cloak section. Last time I worked in the CK you could overwrite vanilla versions only and not add your own.
  6. Its Illegal for anyone to upload the assets, because its not in FNV. FO3 and FNV are different games with different resources, you can not rip one resource from a different game and upload it on nexus or even talk about giving it out. Thats why the mod didnt originally have the voices in it, because its not legal.
  7. Extract his voice and lip files from the Fallout 3 bsa it is in and place it in some random folder on your desktop. Open the Broken Dreams mod in GECK, find his dialog in the dialog section. Manually go through each dialog and find its corresponding voice file (from the file on your desktop). Now that you found the voice file, rename it the Voice Filename you see in GECK. Including the lip file. Repeat for all dialog, now place it in Sound/Voice/whatever.esp And thats why no one gave you directions, because its a pain in the ass.
  8. Fallout New Vegas: Better game play mechanics Better story (imo) Better characters spread through out the game Higher quality companion mods Amazing quest mods Rather active community still Fallout 3: Better area design Larger amount of enemies More post apocalyptic feel (lore friendly?) A few really nice characters Decent amount of larger quest mods finished Not nearly as active, but still around In other words I would get both, each is better in its own way. I like FNV a lot more then FO3 I find its better for long term play, but I still enjoy FO3 for what it is. Steam often has both of them for sale for very very cheap, so keep a eye out for that.
  9. ??????????????????? If you don't have anything to say well don't say anything You SHOULD post this is the REQUEST section, because you are REQUESTING someone make something for you. That means its more likely to be done or taken seriously if its in the right forum and not locked by passing moderators because its not the right area. You also should NOT insult people who are trying to HELP you, it makes you look like a rude jerk and people will be less likely to be nice and assist you.
  10. Project Reality is well known to kill FPS, only the higher computers can really handle it in all its glory.
  11. When I deleted a .psd master file with 30 hours of work in it... Yeah that was nice.
  12. You dont even need FOMM, just install the mod. Place .esp, meshes and textures INSIDE the DATA folder, click yes to overwriting. Then: In FOMM, go to Tools > Archive Invalidation, and uncheck it. Go back to Tools > Archive Invalidation, recheck it again.
  13. Some mods can cause conflicts, also make sure to turn ON subtitles for NPC who may not be voiced.
  14. Well, if it's any consolation Obsidian will probably not make another Fallout game again. Which is a shame since FNV is a better RPG then FO3.
  15. The way you worded it confused then lol. Yes, but still looking at your face and the other one its still also very different. I really dont think your both using the same face base, I still think they are using my alternate face as their base and your not. Gonna just toss this out there, but have you PMed the person your trying to copy the face from? I mean Micalov would be more able to tell you what they did then anyone else would.
  16. Firstly I dont consider performance mods to be bug fix mods, they do not really fix the game's bugs many of them remove stuff that works perfectly fine to help someone smooth out FPS. Very nice yes, but its not really a bug if you get lag in some areas after all this game had tons of stuff removed for the console players it actually has less in it now then it did when it was released. Now yes the 4GB loader is great but keep in mind the games release date and the fact that more modern games like Skyrim didnt come with it working until later on. So now I must admit FNV vanilla plays just fine for me, it has smooth FPS, the quests all worked and I never had any problems other then the rare CTD. Sure there are bugs still in the game but after playing Morrowind/Oblivion/FO3 I can say that FNV had the l same or even less amount of noticeable bugs in my play through, and after playing Skyrim I found it to be more buggy then FNV at release... So yes bug fix mods are nice, but I found the game to be super playable without any mods installed. I only actually have trouble when I install mods lol. This is my personal experience I know others had more trouble or even less then me, I also know FO3 was fine for others but I could hardly play it at all through all the crashes.
  17. Really? Becuase the facial structure looks EXACTLY like the way it was supposed to be. I even got a image of my guy with a tardis using geonox in the niner page and i compared and they look exactly alike. Really? How odd since I worked on the face myself through out the making of Niner, lets see the differences I see are: Forehead much wider. Eyes farther apart looking and more slanted. Eyebrows more prominent. Nose looks larger. Nose MUCH closer to the mouth. Lips more full and larger mouth. Jaw wider and more prominent. Face appears wider. Skin tone lighter brown color rather then Caucasian. Much more Asian looking appearance. Brown/green eyes instead of blue. It really looks nothing like the original or my modified Niner, huge differences all around. That could very well be what Niner would look like with the custom head mesh and textures, but it looks nothing like the default Niner at all. o_O
  18. I am pretty positive that either the person edited the face preset themselves (which many people who post pictures do) or they used my new face version which has slightly different eye shapes. Also I do believe the Geonox race comes with its own eyes and face mesh, so if you use the new face mesh you need the eye meshes too. Pretty sure I gave you the same information I am giving you now, it should even be MORE easy to do this now that Niner is a .esm. Open Niner.esm in GECK with the race .esp turned on, find the Niner npc, change race to the one you want. Save over the race .esp. Load both Niner.esm and race .esp when you play the game. How that face looks however will NOT be the same as default Niner, it cant be the same since the textures and possibly meshes are different. Its up to YOU to edit the face how you want it.
  19. Post a picture of what it looks like when you change his face to use the race, cant help if with cant see what your problem is. Keep in mind the person who made the face may have had to edit it a lot to get it to their liking too.
  20. No, thats what the hardcore mode is actually there for.
  21. I use Robert male body for males: http://newvegas.nexusmods.com/mods/39880 Others like Breeze for males too: http://newvegas.nexusmods.com/mods/35451/
  22. Its not legal to post FO3 assets if its not already included in FNV bsa.
  23. Have you used BOSS to help with your load order, it wont have all the mods there but it will be a good starting point. I had herd a while back that any mods that continue after the end of the game are prone to cause problems.
