  1. I'm assuming that the page that the analysis page that appears after running boss is what you're referring to: BOSS log (Sorry if this does not work, I've never posted a computer browser page thing before.) Which part of the log? It is very different to my current load order since I am reordering it. Original BOSS order: I was hoping that doing this procedure would help to mitigate CTDs possibly caused by larger or unoptimised (messy?) mods such as Moonpath, Skytest and Crimson tide, since I'm guessing that many people who report problems with them use unaltered BOSS orders, but everyone has their own order, I guess. Faster Vanilla Horses I believe alters the speed of all horses, which is why I have it alongside Convenient Horses. Skytest did not give me any problems with how far I went previously (only to Bleak Falls Barrow, but it was much further that I had ever gotten before) when I didn't have any quest (besides missing apprentices) or many gameplay mods (I think only SkyRe and few others). I guess I could turn some of them off, but I would really like for all of them to work together I they can. Papyrus log after getting stuck on loading screen:
  2. I replaced it with my full load order. :) Should I upload my BOSS log too? (Where do you find it - is it the one named BOSSlog in the BOSS\Skyrim folder, or one of the other ones?)
  3. Hello, I have just finished importing and reinstalling, BOSSing, cleaning and merging my all of my mods after getting a new computer. I have followed the sticky thread mentioned in the description (sub header?), found on the technical support forum, and have gotten through everything apart from my gameplay mods which are last on the list. At the moment they are like this, they start from 160 onwards, but the rest may not be optimised or misplaced: I would like people's opinions on how I should order them so that that they can all work together with little to conflict. please since I'm stumped as to how they should be placed. Also, would the NPC additions and changes (e.g. a saint shaved) go under gameplay, added items or character changes? Thank you. :) EDIT: It's supposed to be 'Only You Can Prevent Forest Fires', not how I worded it in the header. :P EDIT 2: Included entire load order as I am getting stuck on the loading screen going into Helgen Keep. :| I would also like to include Thirteen Oranges' Factoin: Pit Fighter mod, but Steam is acting up at the moment, or maybe it just can't download large workshop files, I don't know...
  4. 'NMM mods' are those zip folders that are present in its mods folder, located in whichever drive you installed it to under, e.g. D:\Games\Nexus Mod Manager\Skyrim\Mods. The plugins tab lists your load order, including any .esms and .esps that you installed manually. A mod generally means anything that changes the vanilla game, whether it be textures, sounds, music, animations, armours, weapons, overhauls, etc. A mod can have no, one or multiple .esps (those ones are usually modular - you choose which ones you want to use and discard/turn off the rest). A mod that does not have an .esp or .esm will have its files loaded after the main Skyrim files, but before plugins. If you still have the zip folder of a manually installed mod you can add it to the NMM's mod folder by opening NMM and clicking the add mod button on the left-hand side, which will label it 'more correctly' than it would if you simply copy & pasted it over, but sometimes not as 'correctly' as if you downloaded it via NMM - strange I know, but that's how it works.
  5. I get the shadow disappearance too, but think it is caused by the newer graphics drivers, for both AMD and nVidia. Try rolling them back a bit - AMD to 12.8 and nVidia to 306. I can't be sure of this though as I'm between rigs.
  6. How did you install SKSE and how are you launching the game?
  7. Is it still not able to install SKSE mods? That's the only reason I'm not using it.
  8. Is it just chests, or corpses and other menues too? If so it could be due to a menu/interfacemod(s).
  9. Do you normally play through the SKSE launcher or the steam one? Have you verified the file cache? Try moving some items from your inventory and see if it still happens. Also, when you open the chest, is there an unholy amount of stuff in there for some reason?
  10. Just verify the file cache via steam and delete/restore all of of the files from your enb zip, they are usually enbsomething and the dll file that came with the actual enb from the enbdev site. There may also be a 'sweetfx' folder if your preset uses it.
  11. There is SkyTest which creates packs, more hunting, genders, offspring and territories (I think). It runs fine for me with SkyRe, Automatic Variants and the rest of my mods (mainly armours, weapons, graphical enhancements and sounds/music), so it is quite compatible, but I have never used Real Wildlife so I don't know about that. :P Apparently people have had problems with it, but I haven't extensively tested it as I have only got the PC version recently and I have been fiddling with mods and am waiting for Frostfall 2.0 to release, probably a little bit after Dragonborn since they need to test it.
  12. You have to open up your 'Skyrim.ini' file and set all of the papyrus entries with a '0' to a '1', enabling logging. They can be found in your users documents folder, under 'games' or 'my games'. You may need to set the ini file to read-only if you launch via the steam launcher rather that SKSE.
  13. Not really sure why you even need anyone tell you anything. Your log is strewn with errors and incompatibilities. Clean with TES5Edit and fix everything that BOSS tells you to...
  14. Well, if you haven't changed anything between XP and 7, do you run it through Steam and is it fully updated? Have you verified the file cache? Do you have the latest graphics drivers? The more info you give beforehand, the more help we can give you. ;)
  15. It appears that you are missing masterfiles for a few scripts that are embedded in your save. Have you uninstalled/deactivated a dragon-related mod, convenient horse herding, or other mods?
  16. is somebody experiencing a similar problem. My screenshots: My link (In grid form, from today.) I have add a thread on the technical support forum here for this, but describing it as a general problem, not with ENB, as well as on the AMD game-specific forum here.
  17. You shouldn't have to install one mod at a time, and frankly it's rather inefficient (install all mods, experience crash, disable one that you think may be buggy, start a new game, rinse and repeat) - you should be able to safely install all of your listed mods apart from Moonpath and No Skill Limit (it does the same thing as the community uncapper, and would conflict with it). But if you want to be cautious it wouldn't hurt to install them one by one. You should install the Unnoficial Patches first, then SkyRe, and build everything around them. After you have installed your mods, following the authors' instructions, you should install BOSS, an automatic, regularly updated load ordering tool, TES5Edit, a plugin (mod) cleaning tool, and Wrye Bash, a mod and levelled list merging tool - they're essential to any load order. BOSS is fairly self-explanatory, just run it and heed its advice (however, if an author tell you that the mod should not be cleaned, don't clean it). I you come across an unrecognised mod, just report it to the BOSS team here with a link to the mod page. TES5Edit has a tutorial on its use and (follow both, although there are more than a few similarities). Wrye Bash has a tutorial here. You could also check out this guide, a sticky at the top of the technical support forum.
  18. Hello, I posted this on the mod troubleshooting forum, but I think it may actually have something to do with the drivers. I keep getting brief flashes/sightings of shadows that should be there - normally I have no shadows outdoors even though they are set to ultra. :( I do have some lighting mods installed - Climates of Tamriel, Enhanced Lighting and FX, ENB 12.12.12 with The Wilds 3.0 preset, but they should not be creating any problems. The problem only seems to arise when I am outdoors, I think. AMD Sapphire Radeon HD 7970 Dual-X CCC 12.10 Skyrin.ini: SkyrimPrefs.ini: is a video of somebody experiencing a similar problem. I have made a thread on the AMD game-specific forum here as well. My screenshots:My link (In grid form, from today.)
  19. I have an AMD card, I believe with the latest drivers, although I'll have to check once I get back onto my computer. I'm not sure which version to roll back to if that is indeed the problem though. I'll try looking around to try and see if anyone else is having, or has had the same problem.
  20. I have now disabled some of my mods and it is stable. :) I think I'll just leave it alone for now, although I am waiting for Unique Places to be approved by the BOSS team and for the new Frostfall. New load order: New Papyrus log: I have a non-CTD related question though - I have the 12.12.12 ENB with The Wilds 3.0 preset and I keep getting very short flashes of shadows that should be there, but aren't normally, and I really want them to be there all the time. I made a thread for this here.
  21. I am using the 12.12.12 ENB with The Wilds 3.0 preset and I keep getting these brief flashes of shadows that should be there. I don't really notice that they aren't there normally, apart from the fact that nothing casts any shadows, but when they appear, I want them back. :( I'll try to get some screenshots if I can, but it will probably have to wait until the morning. Skyrim.ini: SkyrimPrefs.ini: EDIT: Also, I think it only happens outside.
  22. I'm guessing that it's the Better Females as I think that is for vanilla female bodies - she has a natural edition (separate mod) for UNP and CBBE.
