  1. You could just install Oblivion, update it, then copy your mods over from your other OS. That should save the time of changing your registry, without having to re-download your mods. It's not the ideal way of doing this, but it should work.
  2. This isn't a glitch, all the cities are already explored by default.
  3. You could invest in a laptop cooler. I've never used one, so i'm not sure how well they work.
  4. Yes, you can install a 32-bit operating system on a 64-bit processor. Just about all modern processors are 64-bit, for desktops. 64-bit processors are rare on laptops.
  5. If you have the know how, you should build your own computer. If you don't, you should list the specs of the computer that you are looking at, or provide a link to it so that we can see it.
  6. If you want to rotate the camera around your character. Just hold down the middle mouse button, and move your mouse around. This way you can still control your characters movements while you do it.
  7. You can download update from here http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=11364 It should just be a .exe file that you can run, and have it install for you.
  8. It sounds like that the outlaws are from a mod. This mod probably uses special custom weapons that the mod adds in. If this is so, then you probably didn't install the meshes that came with it. Or, the mod uses weapons from another mod. If this is so, then the readme should say something about it.
  9. Can you create charm spells if you disable LAME? If so, that would narrow down the reasons for the bug.
  10. Make sure that when you installed the mod, that you included the meshes and textures. The purple arms sound like missing textures. And the missing head sounds like missing meshes. If that is fine, then make sure you didn't just download an update for the mod, instead of the full version.
  11. Does it still crash if you disable the mod, then level up?
  12. Like the article said, they have no Current plans. I'm sure that they will do something. They would be stupid not to.
  13. I know it's annoying to read readmes all the time, and that you just want to jump into a game. But, you need to look at them. Especially for big mods like OOO.
  14. You could just browse your DVD, and open the setup.
  15. did you try starting the game without mods first?
  16. I'm not sure of exactly how you did it. But, it sounds like you added all your new mods at once. You need to add them one at a time. So that if your game does start to freak out. You that it is the one you just added.
  17. Yes, OOO does do this. You should read the readme, and it'll tell you all about it. It will also tell you about the other stuff it changes. (which is a lot of stuff).
  18. You should try updating your drivers. Especially the sound driver. PS. That is the longest post i have ever seen.
  19. You might be able to find a mod that changes the timescale.
  20. sorry, i don't think there is anything that you can do. You would need a new disk, or just borrow one from a friend.
  21. Try disabling Anti-Aliasing and Vertical Sync. I'm not sure, but i think they only work in full screen mode. Both of them can negatively impact performance. Especially Anti-Aliasing.
  22. Very good idea. Sadly I'm really no good at modding. I hope someone will be able to make something of it.
  23. It would be easier if I could hear it. But, yeah. The Female elf does have a masculine voice for a female. But, like i said. it would help if i could hear it.
