  1. I had a similar problem when I installed Harvest Flora, and Harvest Containers. Turned out that I had forgot to copy the bsa that came with them. I had yellow marks for containers, and everything harvestable. Similar to what you are explaining. So if you have either of these mods, that may be the problem. If not, I'm not sure what it could be.
  2. Try This http://cs.elderscrolls.com/constwiki/index.php/Main_Page It has all sorts of tutorials.
  3. You should just be able to install the mod just like before. Make sure that you copy the Meshes folder in the "Data" folder. Same goes for the Textures Sounds like you are putting the meshes folder of the mod, inside the meshes folder in your Data folder. Don't do that. Just copy everything into the Data folder (including the esp file) and if it asks to overwrite some files, click "Yes to all"
  4. Look at the file extension Is it a .zip or .rar or .7z If so, you are opening it with the wrong program. If you have 7zip installed (which is highly recommended) Just right click the downloaded file and go to "7zip" then click "open archive" You should then be able to look at the mod contents extract the files into your Data folder. 7zip can be found at http://www.7-zip.org/
  5. Very true. I meant its not a good long term idea. And you could just use strength, or feather spells/enchantments. (unless you can't access the Arcane University yet)
  6. Just put in the Data folder like everything else. they should be in a folder called DistantLOD. What it is, is a file that let's you see the landscape beyond the cell that you are in. For example, if you are near Bruma and look south (if you have distantLOD turned on in graphic options) You will see the Imperial City in the distance. If DistantLOD files come with a mod, then that means that you can see what ever the mod adds, from a distance.
  7. That's odd. Do you have any other mods that modify similar things? If you do, there might be a conflict. If you have any mods, I would try disabling all but OOO. See if the problem still exists. And with the purple ground, i believe there is another thread that might help you. http://thenexusforums.com/index.php?showtopic=138835
  8. The quest that it involves is one of the first guild quests. You might be able to change it so that after you complete the quest, it becomes your home. Or, you could find/request/make a mod that just adds another ship. which can be your home.
  9. For your 1st problem. I would make sure that it is activated. I would also download Oblivion Mod Manager (OMM) so that you can easily test for conflicts. Those mods might also require another mod to work properly. And i'm not familiar with the mod in the second problem. So, i can't help you there.
  10. Well according to this article http://cs.elderscrolls.com/constwiki/index..._exterior_cells You can't raise the water without flooding the hole area. But, it does mention some water meshes that you can use.
  11. Oblivion has a default Oblivion.ini file. So if you just copy oblivion over, it should just create a new one. Also, i have transferred Oblivion in a similar way. And all i had to do was activate the Oblivion.exe file. And the game started up.
  12. There isn't much you can do, unless you have a save before you installed the mod. You could ask the creator of the mod if he/she knows anything about it, and if they are planning to make a fix. Other than that, i can't think of anything you can do.
  13. Well if nosisab is right. Then when you are downloading it, click save instead of open. This seems to be the only thing that could solve it. Unless there is something that you are not telling us.
  14. You shouldn't need to reinstall Oblivion at all. You should just reinstall the mods. If it is an OMOD, you should use the manager to install it. If it isn't, just copy the mod into your data folder.
  15. If you are using Internet explorer (which you shouldn't, in my opinion.) you should be able to save it to any location when you try to download it. If you are using Firefox (FTW) You will need to go to Tools-> Options-> Main-> and where it says downloads click "Always ask me where to save files" Then you will be able to save it to where ever you want like Internet Explorer.
  16. You should see if the problem still exists if the mod is deactivated. This should determine if the mod is what is that problem. If it is, you should take a look at the readme file for the mod, and see if it normally has issues like this, or if it has any compatibility issues with another mod that you have.
  17. I would say that you have missing meshes or textures. But, if you are using OMM, that shouldn't be a problem. You should check your data folder and see if the meshes and textures are there. The mods you are using might also require other mods to work properly. If it does, there should be something in the readme about it.
  18. It would be better just to reinstall everything. But, if you really don't want to. Yes, you can just copy every thing onto your new computer.
  19. My problem was that i didn't download the entire mod. I wasn't aware that the full version wasn't on tesnexus. I only had the Patch. so when i install it, it was very glitchy. As for your problem, you could try to redownload it. and intall it again. Or you could try getting a later version. like 1.33.
  20. I believe i had a similar problem. Make sure that you downloaded the full version OOO, and not a Patch. The full versoin should be about 400 MBs, if i remember right.

  22. Hmmm, i can't think of any reason that it would do that. If you are running Vista, there might be some folder permission issues. There seems to be a lot of issues with Oblivion on Vista.
  23. Sounds like the mod only supports the high res settings. I have had similar issues with books that have pictures in them. If i had the texture size turned up, the pictures would be fine. If i turned them down, it would get all fuzzy. I'm not sure what a solution would be though. Maybe the maker of the mod has a fix or something.
  24. When you save the esp in the CS. It should tell you where you are saving the file (just like any other program). I would look at that to see exactly where you are saving them. If that doesn't work, you could just do a search for the files.
