  2. NifSkope won't load meshes from ShatteredSpace ba2. My version was out of date. The build from Sep. 26, 2024 works.
  3. Aaaaaand Steam updated me even though I have it set not to. Bastards.

I tried to eliminate a bunch of them the last time Steam ignored my preferences and updated things, but there are just too many quality of life issues that should be in the vanilla game but aren't, and only SFSE mods correct them. I could probably do without a few things for a while, but I'd rather just wait.

  6. Yup, done that, it just respawns next time you land your ship, or change your home ship, basically anything that causes your ship to refresh. It should be tied to a specific ship module, so that it only spawns if you install that module in your ship. Beth was in such a hurry to add vehicles to try and stop Starfield from bleeding players that they gave no consideration to how to logically integrate them.
  7. I don't use the vehicle, but I can't figure out if there is a way to either sell it or permanently dismiss it. Is there anyway to get rid of the thing once you buy it?

  9. I find it pretty much useless everywhere since the majority of the procedurally generated terrain is so filled with rocks it's almost impossible to drive through. I'd love it if the vehicle did not automatically deploy when you land and was instead summoned by a switch in the landing bay. I mean land at Neon and the first thing you do is unload your car? Makes no sense.
  10. Nah, definitely Firefly. The UC has a definite Alliance feel, from the few scenes in the series we get of the the core worlds, or Miranda pre-Pax in the movie. Akila is the Independents, the outer worlds where the series spends most of its time (space western). Spacers are Reavers.

  12. The Rev8 is in SFBGS004.ESM. That contains all the settings for the vehicle. Within that ESM is a category called Game Settings. In Game Settings are a number of variables that control vehicle behavior. You change those to alter how the vehicle handles, boosts, etc. Which exactly does what will take a lot of trial and error.

  16. It's what I use. You are looking for the landing pads in the Structures tab, they're in there with the Hab No Foundation and Habs Tall Foundation. The snap points are at the stairs on either side of the exit. Attach a platform to those, then build out from that. Build backwards to get up on top of the landing bad itself, then remove the stuff you don't need. Currently one of my outposts has a half completed construction scaffold up around my ship. Half completed because I haven't gotten around to finishing it yet.

  19. I'd like something that removes the build restrictions for ALL POIs. Makes no sense I can't build an outpost because there's a cave or cluster of rocks somewhere in the build radius.

You're either near a POI that you haven't found yet (not all of them show up as icons on the map before you find them), or you are using a mod that extends the outpost build radius using an incorrect method. Or maybe there's a small rock (very small, don't stub your toe) in the way that for some reason 24th century technology can't remove. Or the ground is very slightly sloped and there's no way to level it. Or, and I have this problem in one of my current outposts, the frelling ground isn't actually recognized as ground. Outpost building is broken, like vanilla, Bethesda broken.

  22. They gave you a mostly useless vehicle so that they could sell you better ones in Creations.
  23. So make your own mod. It's a trivial change to make. If you are worried about Nexus removing it, don't upload it. Keep it for yourself and play the game the way you want to play it. Also, considering there are 87 different Andreja mods I seriously doubt Nexus would have a problem with switching her animations, especially considering her having the Type 1 animations in the first place is likely a bug.
