  1. This may be a silly question but are you starting a new game or trying to use an existing save? The best thing to do is start a new game with no mods installed and then make a save once you have got through the whole Helgen thing. Keep this save as a backup to use after any re-install. Have a look at this link- http://wiki.step-project.com/Guide:Make_Skyrim_Vanilla_Again It may be helpful. Also, have a look at the second link at the bottom of my post. Lots of useful info!
  2. It may be time to do a complete re-install of your game and the DLCs ( and the unofficial patches). Then make sure it's working properly before adding mods one at a time and testing each one. Have a look at this link- http://wiki.step-project.com/Guide:Make_Skyrim_Vanilla_Again It's a bit of a chore but worth it in the end. You seem to have got yourself in a bit of a mess and it is quite difficult to understand your posts. Sometimes a clean start and a methodical approach to adding mods is the best way to sort things out and understand what is happening.
  3. You should get these patches! RealisticNeedsandDiseases.esp Active Bash Tag suggestion(s): {{BASH: Delev, Relev}} Requires: RND_Dawnguard-Patch.esp Requires: RND_HearthFires-Patch.esp Requires: RND_USKP-Patch.esp
  4. This thread might be what you are looking for. http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/1231714-glossary-for-skyrim-abbreviations/?hl=%2Bskyrim+%2Bacronyms&do=findComment&comment=14188523
  5. It's a bit difficult to scan back and forth through those links. Could you post your BOSS log as shown here- http://s1.zetaboards.com/bbenlibrary/topic/5441874/1/
  6. Good to hear it's working again! No need to be sorry. We have all had these problems.
  7. Try using Steam to verify your game files. Did you add or remove any mods since it last worked?
  8. You will need to give more info about your game if you want people to help! Have a look at the links at the bottom of this post.
  9. Not sure if you have misunderstood or I have! You should only run the installer once. Then in your Skyrim folder ( usually - program files(x86) / steam / steamapps / common / skyrim ) you will find an application called SKSE_loader. You should use this app to start your game. Once you have installed SKSE you should not start the game with the normal Skyrim launcher. Hope this gets you back on track!
  10. There are a number of mods which will help with interior shadow problems. Try typing 'shadow fix' into the Nexus search.
  11. 'Okay so you want me to turn off my DLCs? As in Dawnguard, Hearthhfire, and Dragonborn?' I think Camaro_69 was referring to the three High Res Texture Packs!
  12. You say you are new to modding, so I suggest you learn a bit about the various programs which can help you. Your Boss log is giving you quite a bit of information about possible problems and solutions. If you go to this site - GopherVids, have a look at the four videos in the 'Guides for Mod Users' section, you will learn a lot. You don't have to understand it all. Don't be put off, we were all new once and we are all still learning!
  13. I recommend getting the unofficial patches (uskp) for the game and your DLCs. Here-http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/19/? Even if you have lots of memory Skyrim does not always manage it well. Have a look at this. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/38649/? Also have a look at the second link at the bottom of my post. Lots of useful info!
  14. grin..and the confusion continues... This load order does not have Dragonborn. It does have Dawnguard and that is what the mod page states is needed for the DVA mod. :) Good point! I should not post so late at night. Sorry for adding to the confusion! :-(
  15. From your Boss log- DVA - Dynamic Vampire Appearance.esp Active * Error: Dragonborn.esm is not present or is not active. Skyrim will CTD when loading if using this file without Dragonborn (Official Bethesda DLC). Have you tried playing with this mod deactivated? Seeing as you do have Dragonborn active this mod is obviously causing some confusion.
  16. @ Eternum and Lord Garon. Good idea about using the signature option. Bben is my current 'Hero of Skyrim'!
  17. You are welcome! I am going to look into the bios memory timing thing to see if it helps me. Agree with Camaro-69. Try capping your FPS. It gives the game more time to process other things. Mine is capped to 40.
  18. Your mod list looks fine now. Sorry but I cannot think of any other suggestions. Hope someone else can help. Good luck!
  19. In your boss log it says version 6 active. Most recent is 7.1.
  20. You have a lot of visual enhancements, eg. Moss rocks, Skyfalls, Floral overhaul, No snow under roofs etc. These will all add to the time a cell takes to load. Sometimes you have to just compromise on which mods to use. To get a base line you could disable all your mods, then at the menu screen open the console and type 'cocwhiterun' without the quotes, instead of loading a save. Then just have a run around to see how your vanilla game runs.
  21. I have always had this stutter when 'seeing' an area for the first time. I think it is just the way the game works! Have you added any high res textures or distant lod enhancements recently? It might help if you post your mod list.
  22. You should clean the update and dlc files. Also replace wellcave.esp as instructed by boss. Then try removing some of the less important mods, if they are removable, to lessen the load on the game. Follow their uninstall instructions. Then use game save cleaner.
  23. You seem to be using an old version of Immersive Armors. The latest one doesn't need spike.esm.
  24. You should post your mod load order. It will help people check for issues. If you have lots of script heavy mods (quests etc) or high res textures they will slow down your loading times. If you have removed any mods then you may have problems with 'orphaned' scripts. These can often be sorted out by cleaning your game save. Try this- http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/52363/?
