Mods can be nice but can cause one heck of a headache the amount of possible conflicts it can cause in a DLC or other mods. Removing them the save file can still hold it leaving you to restart a new game... You install mods at your own risk, from a bloating save file or save file CTD from accessing leftover scripts from some mod you uninstalled. I use to have about 65 some mods I'm down to 15 just keeping the essential mods then I restarted a new game.

Consoles have very limited memory it has to be able to run on it... reason for the lower res textures = less memory I really dont mind them beside the branch textures on the trees are really bad

I havent played it yet Im only on PC but from what I seen it will probably be a must have.. I mean its Solstheim, Bloodmoon - Morrowind taken from a true classic whats not to like :biggrin:

Curious why the uploader on youtube will not use ingame footage of the multiplayer mod and just used the old game footage before skyrim was released. I dont trust outside links that are not on nexus sounds like spyware

I read some articles talking about ssd and I cant recall the link off hand its been sometime but from what I recall ssd are not bad overall speed wise. The normal high rpm hard drive like a raptor for example will be a hair faster if your doing one thing with it like gaming - the ssd shines when your multitasking. Have you installed and uninstalled a bunch of mods in your save game file it can corrupt your save file depending on the mods? The dirty edits are easy to clean heres a link

Forgive me if this has been said before but Im looking for someone to make an immersion mod that adds durability back on weapons and armor. They already have blacksmith hammers in game why not make use of an useless item and repair battle worn gear. All blacksmiths and general vendors should carry them with the blacksmith the only ones being able to repair your gear at a cost of coin. It will add to your smithing skill repairing your own gear since armorer skill is no longer in the game. Maybe even an option for those who hated this in the older games worn armor and weapon will not break just greatly loose effectiveness kind of similar to the new encumbrance at least you can still move around. Im not sure why something thats been so prominent in previous elder scrolls games somehow becomes extinct :(

I have a gtx570 with 2.5gb and I few times I caped my memory and CTD. My ini is tweaked with really every graphical mod a few mods when it has anything to do with increasing spawns like warzones is when I CTD do to memory. If you plan on doing some heavy modding I would say go for the 3G. Sounds fine to me I wouldn't waste your money on upgrading your onboard ram 8g is more then enough if you just game skyrim exe usage is caped at 4g. The ram that you should be concerned about is the video ram for high res textures use. I have 2.5g video ram you end up ctd when you cap it but it depends how much you want to mod skyrim. I would stay away from windows 8 I heard a few issues with it and games for the most part will not be based around it for sometime, vista and 7 is fine

I normally run around with ice form because you can CC and dot a bunch of npcs at once. Then pick your target and burn them down. I have to say its one of the most effective shouts obviously it is not effective on dragons but everything else it owns

I play with timescale 5 with just over 700 hours in no problems so far

I dont mind waiting they can work out most of the bugs with the next upcoming patch

Should be about 4 more games that they can pump out if not more unfortunately since it takes about 4 years to make one you be waiting awhile. I can see them doing Summerset Isles next dont really matter to me anything they make I know it will rock dont think it matters if the mmo becomes a huge hit 1st its a different company that owns Bethesda if anything its a win win more possible $ funding into Bethesda for their single player games. Zenimax heavily funded Bethesda back in the day when they started making morrowind

If you really want to gimp don’t use dark elf or Nord because of the natural elemental resistance makes fighting dragons harder. I stopped the regen on health by console also downloaded every mod that increases hardness, I normally use low end gear and weapons. If this was an mmo I obviously wouldn’t use low end gear/weapons but on occasion is fun to run around naked and kill ppl in pvp just for a good laugh because ppl think gear matters more then skill

Ran into this a long time ago and I used this to fix it... open console and type: player.addspell 000f71d1 close it and reopen console type: player.removespell 000f71d1

Kind of the wrong place to post this. Think they set it 1000 years in the past as its a good place to start as a mmo setting. I have played a few mmos so I like them but a tes mmo sounds much more appealing vs anything else.

Can always try out the dance of death mod I think its called that you can tweak the killmoves settings with it. works for both melee and magic I notice the melee triggers more often if you stun the target with some shouts like a fus for example then doing a power attack right after

Average ppl like Alexander the Great took on incredible odds and won every time. If you say skyrim would be real then the blessing of Akatosh already gives you a great advantage to overcome most typical enemies that are challenging into pretty easy.

I really like akiro unred ENB but for some reason his file is hidden. ENB is pretty much personal preference just look a few SS see if its something you like perhaps try one out for a few mins in game. If for whatever reason you can run an ENB you can try Imaginator witch you can hand tweak a bunch of settings its pretty user friendly http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/13049 I know nothing about ati but I do run a ton of hd textures and I got my card using 1.7 to 2.3g of video memory you will only be able to run so many hd textures with that memory on your card. When you get bored of skyrim you play morrowind after getting bored with that you can always jump back to skyrim unless your still bored of it witch then you can play oblivion. After beating Oblivion yet again your now safe to go back playing skyrim its an cycle of unending entertainment :biggrin:
