Most modders mod games for themselves first and foremost. Sharing them is secondary, if we feel that others might enjoy our creations too. Enforcement of anything like this would just stop some from sharing altogether. Ultimately, it's the player who loses out while the modders continue to enjoy the fruits of their own labours privately. I do like reading changelogs when they're available, just as I like to read patch notes for games I'm playing and this is why I include them - but doing such should NEVER be enforced. We're hobbyists. This is what we do for fun.

I list my changelogs on the main description page because of that. They are more likely to get seen there.

I blocked updates, especially the last one for Skyrim. They always broke my mod setup and I have no interest in the bundled paid mods they added to the last update. I will never endorse the paid modding scene.

Most of my mods have commenting disabled. It's the only way to ensure peace and quiet from idiots who hate on male stuff. It certainly doesn't suggest my mods are buggy or badly thought out. I just got sick of being treated as a pariah because I don't make endless titty mods.

I see there are some still trying to game the DP system: People are so greedy. Makes me sad.

That's unlucky. I've had no major problems with it on PC, modded or unmodded. i've lost count of how many playthroughs now, both alone and with friends.

It's called 'scraping' and is usually from site owners who steal mods for their pay sites. I don't know much about programming, but maybe there needs to be a download limit imposed to stop this. These unscrupulous thieves are making money from our hard work and we modders get nothing. Speaking as both a modder and a mod user, I would welcome this.

Hahahaha, me too! I'm way old! I remember my family not even having a TV or a phone of any sort! If we wanted to do some gaming, we went outside or pulled the toy box out! Here I was thinking I was last old fart who didn't own a mobile phone! Hate the things, though I can also see good uses for them too. Keeping social media off them for starters! The number of times I've been bumped into by people walking along, eyes on screen instead of looking where they're going! I'd wave my walking stick at you young 'ins if I still needed it! Being bionic is great!

I feel the same! Plus, I'd be forever comparing it to No Man's Sky which I play a LOT and is an excellent game!
