After re-installing Skyrim and tested a fresh install with SkyUI 4 and SkyRe there was no problem. The conflict must have been elsewere.

Sound propagation overhaul removed?
tiggerdyret replied to tiggerdyret's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
Thanks, FiftyTifty. It was an amazing mod, but you could still feel it was a little inballanced at times. I'm hoping him taking it down means he's is working on a better version and don't want people to get a bad impression. Is the beta the one where you'd have to tweak it in the CK yourself? -
Nothing on the SkyUI site, but it could well be a bug. Noted :)
-
Thanks, that's just wierd. It might be some other conflict then. I'll try without compression or optimization. I found out that the colour issue was due to Classic HQ map, which f**cks up the mountains making them orange.
-
But would texture compression give me loading issues? Because the colours aren't i general problem. It's just some mountains in the distance. The main problem is texture popping as if my vram was used up and as I said the texture optimization helped with that problem, but tidn't fix it.

Here is a Papyrus log:

I just re-installed my skyrim with step again, but this time a have horrible vram issues. Buildings and trees pop up around me and some of the mountains have wierd orange collours. Although I've installed the 2k textures my Asus 660 OC 2gb should be able to handle it. Expecially because it did fine with the same texture sizes last time. The only thing I've done differently this time (apart from using newest step) is using DDsopt to compress the textures (followed the step guide closely here to). After seeing how horrobly my game was running i used optimizer textures, which helped a little bit. Please help a desperat man.

I am using the newest version of SKSE. It's a new save and everything is up to date as I started modding from scratch a week ago.

I get CTD with the new equipping feature of SkyUI. When i hit F1 i crash. I think it startet crashing after i installed SkyRe. I can't seem to make the papyrus log work, so I'm not sure but i didn't have any problems before SkyRe. I haven't gotten any papyrus logs from the crash, but maybe I should load the game a little longer before hitting the F1. Any suggestions? Is it possible to keep SkyRe? Load order:

Sadly I did it right the first time and I'm still crashing.
-
I can't seem to find sound propagation overhaul anymore. Is it removed and does anyone know why? It was seriously one of my favorit mods!
-
The step guide recommends using the none-textures files as bsa, because they load faster. I fixing my problem by using ddsopt instead.

LE Body Scars mod(why does this not exist yet?)
tiggerdyret replied to yayim18's topic in Skyrim's Mod Ideas
Yeah, I whinking the same thing. I really need thjis to make a picture of my DnD character ;) -
I can't seem to optimize my vanilla none-texture BSAs with BSAsopt. When i follow this guide http://wiki.step-project.com/Guide:BSA_E...cking_BSAs I get a BSA that is only 340kb big? It seems like it just makes an empty BSA. What am i doing wrong?

Thanks for the tips. It is freezing, not crashing and I've already used the multicore fix. I haven't been near rivet city or project purity. It's was on the way to minefield it started.
-
I have no idea.
-
I use NMM. Oh, yeah i use NMC texture pack and the game doesn't seem to be either more or less stable if I switch between them. I've tried both maximum, large and performance. I also use the clutter texture packs and some textures for guns.

I keep getting CTD. First I used Gophers guide (the one with foip) and I seemed to have a stable game. I startet getting crashes after installing remastered. I uninstalled, reinstalled the game and the mods and started a new save, but kept crashing. I followed every logical step of the ultimate fallout guide. I don't use auto saves and I use CASM to Quick save. I tried disabling all my anitvirus and spyware programs and running the game with game booster. I then tried reverting back unofficial patch and Error Fix (CTD fix thing) and was stable for a much longer time, but now it's back again. Here is my Load order:

I have er white flickering line around the edges of the water in fallout. I've tried tinkering with the launcher, but I couldn't get rid of it. Any suggestions?

Skyrim modding general help and tips.

Cool, I wasn't sure if you could play on with an old save after adding a mod to it, but it's only a problem if you uninstall mods right? -
Requiem compatibility with other mods?
tiggerdyret replied to savior99's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
It seems like we have the same tastes in gaming  The reason why I didn't try scaling stopper is because it seems too random. I just want a static believable world that doesn't level with me. Asis has a module called Asis - Encounter zones, which does exactly that. I have tried it out for a few hours and it seemed cool. I know he made it so that dungeons near towns are lower level and the further into the wilderness you get the harder it gets too, but I don't think item-scaling stops. As far as I know you don't need the main module. http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/18436/?tab=2&navtag=%2Fajax%2Fmodfiles%2F%3Fid%3D18436&pUp=1 One i haven't tried, but am gonna try out is ERSO's Main 08 module, which also scales items. http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/26217//? I don't know if he has put any thought into which dungeons have which level, but it would seem like it. This is from the description: This mod transforms Skyrim into a real unleveled World. Your enemies (and random loots) don't grow anymore around you. Now you could find both monsters and enemies undefeatable to your level (so that you must flee away to save your life) either enemies more weak than you. You can feel and live the growth of your character, from a poor and not experienced man or woman to a mighty hero, into a world harder and more realistic than vanilla Skyrim. Skyrim is divided into 276 Encounter zones (every one could be a dungeon, a castle, a tower, an open space...). In vanilla Skyrim most of them have a dynamic level of difficulty, so that they are always at the same (truly a bit under the) level of player Now this setting is over, so you will find: 21 zones (7,61%) with level of difficulty (and random loots) 1-5 30 zones (10,87%) with level of diff. (and random loots) 6-10 26 zones (9,42%) with level of diff. (and random loots) 11-15 38 zones (13,77%) with level of diff. (and random loots) 16-20 36 zones (13,04%) with level of diff. (and random loots) 21-25 32 zones (11,59%) with level of diff. (and random loots) 26-30 26 zones (9,42%) with level of diff. (and random loots) 31-35 25 zones (9,06%) with level of diff. (and random loots) 36-40 42 zones (15,22%) with level of diff. (and random loots) 41+ (and more = these zones are uncapped!) For more hardcore item loot you can try out Morrowloot, which removes a lot of items from the level list and places them in certain dungeons. Which makes the item system a little more like morrowind. It goes well with both Asis and ERSO. -
Requiem compatibility with other mods?
tiggerdyret replied to savior99's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
Bashed patch is a feature of Wrye Bash which combines your level lists of all your mods it's a little like the reproccer but not as annoying. Imo wrye bash is ten times better than NMM and not harder to use. In WB you have an install order to to handle your mods. Which makes it much easier to see which texture overwrites which. Try it out, you can still use NMM to download to your Bash mods folder and get the best of both world :) Another alternative is making a merged patch with Tes5edit. It merges more than just the level lists and is therefore better, but I understand that bashed patch is better at making the lvl lists. You can use both of them. I don't know much more than this, but I'm going to test it out fairly soon. About Requiem: I used it with almost all of the mods he listed on his compatibility page and I don't think I had any problems.I actually think he implemented some of the Armors and weapons on some NPCs. Ulfrich was wearing an immersive armor which he doesn't do when I'm using that mod with vanilla... Cool :) But all in all I wouldn't recommend Reqiuem. Some of it is amazing and really well thought out, but other things are just annoying and unballanced. I'm a hardcore gamer myself, but I like to feel that a game requires skill to master. In the case of Requiem it feels more like luck and patience. Like the bows for instance. At level 12 i still got oneshotted by every single archer i met and the gameplay of skyrim just isn't built around dodging arrows (and that was after turning down global damage). And it's neither very realistic or immersive to die of one arrow shot and have to reload again and again. Some of these things you can adjust, but I found out there were so many things I'd had to tweak that I might as well install single component mods and more control. But try it out and let me know what you think maybe I'm just to impatient. As i said some aspects of it are amazing. -
Okay, the legendary edition is coming out tomorrow and now it's time to mod in it's celebration. I've moddet my game heavily i few times before with more or less success. Last time I ended up making a game, which a played for about ten hours with no problem and suddently I startet getting constant crashes. I didn't remove any mods and those a added I removed and startet from a save before they were added and even tried with a new character, but with no luck. I don't mind a crash once in a while, but it seemed like the game was totally broken and i simple weren't able to go to areas I had been a few hours earlier. Like the conflicts had bottled up and broken the game. It's pretty hard to make a stable game if the errors only show up after 10 hours of play. Is it possible to start a save and add the mods little by little or will that break the save or make the game unstable? So I need some modding tips on how to prevent this from happening. Last time a followed step thoroughly + a lot of other mods. I used wrye Bash (bashed patch), boss and I generally read the readmes for installation and compatibility. Here are some details on load order and mods + a papyrus log http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/998365-help-fixing-ctd-papyrus-log/ What i didn't do last time was using a merged patch and texture optimizer which I'm gonna try. Do you have any other suggestions?

Fallout blackened + iron sights
tiggerdyret replied to tiggerdyret's topic in Fallout 3's Mod Troubleshooting
Hehe, I ended up reinstalling the game and the mods the normal way without iron sights and weapons Mod Kit. I found out that I was using the wrong version of Blackened, remastered and EVE to be able to use them together. I was also using the wrong remastered compatibilty patches for the mods. Reinstalling the Nvidia driver also fixed my blue screen problem. Now the game runs like a charm, but I'll use your packing method and switch to FOMM when I start modding New Vegas. You simply don't have enough control with NMM, IMO. Thanks for all your help! It's great that the modding community have people like you. Hope I'll be able to bring something to the community myself, when my skills have become a little bit better. -
Project Reality bug fix work in progress
tiggerdyret replied to pacfish's topic in Fallout 3's Discussion
Could you have a look at the bug were the weather never changes too? I've had to restart my game because of that and I'm considering using Fellout and Enhanced Weather instead so it won't happen again, which is pretty sad cause the mood of this mod is precisely what I'm looking for.
