Hi, I'm thinking of upgrading my graphics card to be able to run an extreme step. I've been pretty happy with it so far, but it simply can't handle the hardcore textures for skyrim. Here are my specs: - AMD Quadcore FX 4100 (3.6 GHZ) - 8 GB Kington Ram - Radeon HD 7850 1gb - ASUS M5A78 - In a miditower (so I can't run crossfire Would a gain enough by upgrading from a 7850 1gb to 7850 2gb card?

I installed the texture pack combinder and a lot of other graphic mods, It looks great but the rocks around the campfire are purple. Do you know where the texture/mesh is in the data folder and can you recommend a mod to replace it? I know i placed everything correctly when i installed TPC, so please don't suggest that i retry that. Cheers Tiggerdyret

No everything is actve. I'll try turning of the lanterns of skyrim except default. I don't have time to test it right now, but the the speak-thing might just be because I was wearing an identity cowl from sneak tools. I have some problems with my moddet skyrim. I played for a few hours and the game crashed. I could still hear the sounds of the game på but the screen went black (dark gray). I had to hit the reset button on my cabinet to restart. I started up again on the same save and played again for a couple of hours before it crashed again. Right before the second crash i noticed that i could't speak to some npcs (don't know if it was everyone). I rebooted again, played for a few minutes only and crashed agian. When a went on youtube i few minutes after, the video would repeat the same 3 second section over and over when i was in full screen. After rebooted youtube was fine. I don't know if there is any relation between the crash and the no-speaking-bug. I resently overclocked my cpu. I have tested it with AMD overdrive and it seems to be stable, but could it be the problem? The no-speak-bug seems like an ingame conflic thought. You are right at least not for the gameplay mods. I think the load order of the graphic mods is fine. I really liked using NMM, but Is it okay to use NMM and BOSS alone or should i use wyre bash instead of NMM? My game crashed at start up, but i removed alot of the mods and now it works fine, so i guess I'll try installing one at a time. But i could very well be the war zones mod. Are there anyway to be sure the mod is installed correctly er do i just have to wait for a crash?

I have been a long time skyrim player on the xbox, but I just bought a computer a couply of weeks ago and now it time for some modding. I have searched the net far and wide to find my perfect skyrim experience. I have tried a few things with the NMM and it went pretty well, but I ended crashing the game in the end. I'll try and list all the mods i wanna implement and maybe you can give me some advice on how to install etc. I've choosen gameplay mods which should be combatible with Xarrian and Ogerboss' reqiuem mod (which sounds so f**ing cool). The notes after the mods are Xarrian and Ogerboss'. I just kept them here so i wouldn't forget :smile: I'm planning on making it similar to STEP baseline in performance and graphic quality. So i will use their recomendations for the Texture Pack Combiner.
