  1. This has been discussed countless times. I don't think there will be modding as extensive as Skyrim's (if there was, you could easily cheat). I do remember hearing that simple modding like for player only UI will be present.
  2. I think vanilla Skyrim is fine. It is "Medieval" enough. Medieval Europe refers to the Dark Ages, the time after the Western Roman Empire fell (Like how the Imperial Empire is falling). It's downfall was due to barbarian and viking raids on Northern settlements (like the Stormcloak rebellion). The Dark Ages or "Medieval Times" was a time in European history where barbarians/vikings raided feudal towns, monestaries, and castles. Feudalism was the system of government in Europe at the time, and the same System in Skyrim (the holds each governing themselves). Skyrim is very much what Europe was like in the Middle Ages, in fact, it parallels with the history almost exactly (except for the dragons, magic, and other obvious stuff). Good luck, I just think this is not needed.
  3. I would suggest they reread the first post, in that case. I'm looking for a custom human player model. Someone who was able to be, or interested in being hired for that could then PM me for further details, but I'm loath to toss the full description of the project up for public consumption. It's not illegal or gross, nor is it a mod that is overly complicated/would break the TOS, but it's sort of personal, and I'd like to be able to keep it between the artist and myself. I don't think that's unfair to ask for. Alright. I was just trying to help.
  4. Yes, they would have had to have the Stormcloak Dovahkiin be at least human, but not Imperial, while the Imperial side would probably accept any citizen of Tamriel, even those who broke away in the war. There would have been howls of protest about that when people found out they could not be a Stormcloak part-way through their game. So even at the beginning, in Helgen, Ralof would have had to say something like: "Get away from me, you filthy Cat/Lizard/Elf/Orc/Imperial!", while the other guy would say: "Citizen! Follow me!", regardless of your race. ~ Precisely. It would be cool and open up for different playthroughs, but the majority of people would hate the fact that the game restricts them from the very beginning.
  5. Sounds like a great idea. I hope you post more screenshots. Keep up the good work!
  6. I don't think this is possible. It would require some sort of networking to transfer data from one save game to another on a different computer over the internet. Seeing as Skyrim doesn't have any sort of networking or online features, it would not be possible.
  7. I think people would be a lot more interested and willing to help if they knew what the mod would be without personally PMing you.
  8. I agree that this is a big plot hole in the game which has annoyed me since day one. Unfortunately, I think it would be very hard to change. The game is pretty much designed for racial equality for the player, so a lot of things would need to be changed. This is something that Bethesda should have taken into account and designed the game accordingly...
  9. The problem is that a lot of people treat the mod request board like they are ordering at a McDonald's. They say what they want and expect everyone drop what they are doing give them their food. Have some respect. People don't have to make anything. As for the OP, sorry some people have to be rude. I think you have a good idea. Good Luck.
  10. Although this is a good idea, custom animations are really annoying to put into the game. The only way to do it without using an external plugin (FNIS) is by replacing an existing animation. I am not sure of the limitations of FNIS as I have never used it, but it could be possible if someone is willing to put the work in to make the animations and get it to work in game. Good Luck!
  11. Perhaps you are having compatibility or load order issues? Also, make sure you read the installation for each mod and do it correctly.
  12. I completely understand how it works, but some Paths need you to go through a Quest to advance in the Game. For example Dawnguard, you cannot finish the Dawnguard MQ or go to the Lost Valley unless you play the Skyrim MQ where you need an Elderscroll. Thats what im trying to say, some Quests Force you to take that path to advance in the Game. Many are so tired of being Dragonborn where theres a Mod for it http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/9048/? You should be doing some quests, I mean the game has a story. The game would not be fun if every quest was linear and straight forward. The game's story centers around you, the dragonborn. The game is not meant to be played where you sit around and do nothing. If you want to do a major story quest, you have to finish the prerequisites. I am done arguing with you. It goes nowhere. Other people should see that and stop too. It is what every thread like this turns into.
  13. A mod that removes major features from the game is not a good idea. As everyone is trying to tell you, you DO NOT have to do quests you don't want to. You DO NOT have to be evil. Do you understand how a TES game works?
  14. Making extensive follower mods as detailed as Inigo takes a lot of time and effort. Like TaeRai said, try to find an existing follower mod like one of her follower mods. I'm sure there are plenty of follower mods out there that you would like. You just need to look.
  15. That's weird. The cats should be followers. I think that a couple of them are not able to be followers. Also, keep in mind that you can only have one animal follower at a time. EDIT: I reread the description. Apparently there are a few bugs with the cat followers... I would still track this mod.
  16. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/17424/? This mod is purrr-fect for you.
  17. There are a couple mods that overhaul combat that make the enemies smarter and use a greater variety of spells and strategies. Try looking at some of these videos to see if any work for you. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6eOtn9Ur6YY http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4qQD1VO69Gs http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qpwsraPUNPg There are also links in the descriptions to other combat enhancement mods.
  18. I'm sure you can do this yourself. It is relatively easy since you already have the models. Just look up some Creation Kit tutorials on the subject.
  19. Did you try typing "witcher" in the search bar. There are plenty of armors and armor packs. I believe the people who made The Witcher games allow people to port their assets into mods. Maybe there is one that suits your needs?
  20. Seriously Deventry, instead of making new topics all the time, bumping your old topics, PMing random users to post in your topics, then arguing with modders who actually contribute and know what they are talking about, why don't you just try modding? That way you get exactly what you want. You've been here a long time, have you never even considered trying these things out yourself? Sorry to be harsh, but it is bothersome...
  21. I pretty sure this is not possible. That is probably why no one has bothered...
  22. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/20903/? This mod lets you disguise as different faction members. There is a skill tree also so you can get better and have different perks.
  23. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/13586/?
  24. What? Can you please explain this better? I do not get what you want at all. Do you want a giant spider with wings and a dragon head? I am not sure if this would be possible...
  25. Is that a pile of Cheetos?
