  1. Either he means a superman type effect, where you can attack people by shooting lasers out of your eyes with different magic elements (fire, frost, lightning, etc), or he means some sort of glowing eye's mod where you can choose the color/look of the eyes. Similar to the Eyelander effect in TF2? OP will have to clarify.
  2. I am not sure if this is what you want, but if you want this to know the time or date, there are a few mods that let you know the time without going into wait menu. Here's one if you are interested. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/44091/?
  3. I do understand that SKSE expands the scriping possibilities quite a lot. I was referring to a method, used in the vanilla game: decapitation with a killmove. As I read around the forums, it seems that the decap animation is done on a dummy, while the real one gets equiped with a decap head helmet and a prop of a head gets spawned. I simply would like someone to design and animate such kllmoves with other body parts. I can't really do it myself, as I suck and 3D modeling and animation. I still do not see a reason why anyone would waste their time remaking a huge mod that already exists just for one person. I know you don't want me to ask, but seriously, why are you so unwilling to use SKSE?
  4. It would be cool if someone made a mod where if the NPC is dead, and you have the Key, it makes all the containers safe in a house. That way you can kill anyone and take the home for yourself.
  5. I believe this is a feature in Inconsequential NPCs. From the mod page:
  6. I do not think so. Someone correct me if i am wrong, but I believe the containers in NPCs houses will be unsafe even if you have the key. As I said, I could be wrong, but I am pretty sure.
  7. I have thought of this idea before. It would add more realism to the game. Bethesda have stated that they do not wish to have any features like this in their games since it would be very annoying to some people. In an interview with Douglas Goodall, a designer of Morrowind, he mentions some rules in making Elder Scrolls games that Ken Rolston (a lead designer) came up with. One of the rules was "No betrayal". The full interview can be found here. It gives some good incite in the designing of the games and Lore. That's just your reason why this is not in vanilla Skyrim. Mods however could definitely add it for people who want it. Good Luck.
  8. There is a reason why some mods require SKSE. It adds features and commands that are not in the native scripting language. So it may not be possible without it. A "computer geek" could understand that. Also, why should someone remake an entire huge existing mod just because you don't want to use SKSE? If you are a computer geek, then why don't you make this mod? Could offer a fun challenge.
  9. I didn't even have to watch the video, I loved those movies back in the day! Very appropriate reaction. But being serious, this would be good for realism lovers, right?
  10. You are right, that is a tall order, and you seem really passionate about it. Maybe you should take a stab at it? The only reason I say this is because you seem to really want it to happen, and unfortunately, big mod requests like these rarely happen. Good luck.
  11. Sounds like a great idea, but the problem is that adding animations to the game is really annoying and difficult. It is possible with an external plugin, but people request animations all the time and they are never made. It is just a real hassle. Good Luck. Unless I'm missing an in game animation for this that already exists...
  12. You are right. This would look great in Skyrim. Perhaps a small story or quest that goes around them? Custom meshed and textures would be needed, (just a giant vanilla sword would look silly). I'll keep an eye on this.
  13. Have you looked up any armor mods? There are hundreds that could fit the criteria of a ranger. If you don't want nudity, there are filter check boxes to only show non adult files.
  14. For #1 There are already mods for the cold water. Frostfall For #2 You can try Civil War Overhaul For #3 I also liked how in Daggerfall you can wear layers of clothes. Sadly, I don't think there is a mod like this, and the idea has been tossed around a bit. For #4 I wouldn't know, I don't seek female (or male) body mods. For #5 This would be great. The dungeons in later Elder Scrolls are TINY compared to Daggerfall's. This might be a bit difficult since you would have to hand edit every dungeon in the game. And to all the people saying the dungeons are big in Skyrim, HA they've got nothing on Daggerfall. Sample of size of a Daggerfall City and Dungeon. Keep in mind that there are thousands more in the game. You can be inside for hours. http://i.imgur.com/ovUReny.png Hope this helped!
  15. I remember seeing this article and it being amazing. A mod akin to what dragonchris152 said would probably be best. Read the article.
  16. What he said. Probably the least buggy and safe carriage mod. You can travel and the driver talks about locations using dialogue that was never used in the game. Gopher's video shows it off greatly. The other videos are outdated with earlier versions. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8pWUWrrttGI
  17. I think it would be a fine and immersive idea. There are already animations for holding and drinking potions, so I don't think it would too difficult, aside from converting every drink... I always hated how you can just pause the game and drink all you want and be right back to fighting. The Morrowind way was much much better. When you drink the potion, it isn't instant so when you leave your inventory, your stat slowly rises making it more difficult in combat. This mod does that and prevents potion spamming: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/30073/? Here are some alternatives: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/28958/? http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1580881 http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/5873/? There are also a few mods for adding animations to consumables if you are interested. This mod goes well with any of the ones above: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/28114/? I hope this helped. I think with these mods, you can get the experience you are looking for.
  18. You would need to ask the armor mod author for permission, or just ask him to make a patch. Good luck.
  19. I like the OP's idea. It would be much more realistic and immersive. It is kind of stupid how you see your character in third person rolling around. I support this.
  20. Haha, yup. I wouldn't use this mod for the same reason. If I want to know how much health there is left I just look at the health bar. This would be useful in a game without a health bar, but pointless in a game with one. But don't let me discourage you. It's a fine idea, it's just not the type of mod I would use.
  21. Don't apologize. It is not that people don't like your idea, its just that the way you worded it was very confusing for some people. I understood the concept fine, and think that it is not too far fetched. Next time just try to be more consistent and read over your post before posting. And of course people are not going to be super polite on the internet. What do you expect?
  22. There is also UFO - Ultimate Follower Overhaul. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/14037/?
  23. Although the OP's post is a little all over the place, I got what he wanted. It's pretty simple and RognvaldTheWise summed it up gracefully. This was not as crazy as half the mod request's thoughts To all those saying gold is too soft for a weapon, you are right...BUT the weapon probably wouldn't be pure gold in reality, but mixed with other metals to harden it up. This is done all the time. The reason why we never see golden weapons in real life is because it is expensive and there are much better metal options. Good luck OP. Sorry for all the confusion, maybe review your post first next time?
  24. This mod could be what you are looking for. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/13586/?
