  1. I use a number of small "out of date" minor Mods, much preferring them over their big brothers....I run a stable, problem free game and believe that has a lot to do with the fact that I look for small effective changes not complete game mechanics overhauls....plus creating my own vision of my Game, not relying on solely on someone else's. I wish there were more small and updated Mods out there...I hope you choose to ignore the detractors Rennn and add to the small pool of minor Mods, there are still people who much prefer them and look for and hope for small Mods like this.
  2. You can circle, avoid, evade, etc...from the very beginning....I have never used Heavy Armor, but can assure you, you can avoid most damage in Light Armor. There are times too though that I like to play a fully specced Character from the start of the Game...I find leveling a bore (have played a lot of Skyrim) and enjoy playing a seasoned Warrior and so in those Games I use a Cheat Chest Mod in Riverwood that allows me to level out what ever skills I want for the character....can choose which Skills and ignore the rest. There are a number of Mods available to do that.
  3. My male Dovahkin marries no one....his not the settle down type. My female Dovahkin if she marries, marries Stenvar (is also the only follower my Dovahkins will use if they have a follower)....Would like her to be able to marry Isran, but sadly he is not marriageable.
  4. For Lone Dovahkins... Choose Your Battle Field: Never let the opponents choose your position....In interiors narrow passages are your best friend...always keep a mental map of where you have been so you know what's behind you at all times and don't be afraid to back track and lead opponents back to those more advantageous positions for yourself. Narrow passages allow you to combat one opponent at a time and stops them from surrounding you....And if you use Mods, pick up Bear Traps and Oil Traps Mods....lay the Bear Traps out and cover them in Oil in passages you suspect lead to trouble....Once the opponents have been alerted to your position, run back down the passage, minding your own Bear Traps...encourage the opponents to cluster when chasing you down the passage...taunting them with arrows and offering yourself as a range target (be ready to dodge incoming damage) will bring them down the passage...once the lead opponent hits the last Bear Trap (Bear Traps slow them down a little) light up the Oil....Fire Arrows or Magic...and your job is suddenly a whole lot easier... Exteriors...Use Terrain and surroundings to your advantage. If you are attacked by free roaming numbered opponents, where was that last Giant or Soldier Camp or exterior Bandits Lair you saw?...Lead them to the Camp or Lair and sprint through the middle to the other side until out of combat range...take full advantage of the pandemonium that ensues in the Camp/Lair, if you have a Bow sit back and pick off targets at your own leisure. Always keep Terrain or other obstacles between you and ranged opponents....make it impossible for them to gain a line of sight on you. Using a Bow.... always gain the high ground if it exists near you....Boulders, Cliff Faces, Roof Tops, etc....run for high ground if need be (bounce up Boulders), leading your opponents back to it. Most opponents will duck for cover when you gain high ground, but the majority of the time they will leave a small part of themselves exposed, take careful aim and knock them out of their cover....or use yourself as bait by exposing yourself just long enough to tease opponents out of cover....let them get close then quickly regain your superior high ground position. Using all Weapons types....Fight off the back foot, be prepared to always move backwards and in an arc (wide arc towards their flankers, forcing the flankers to rejoin the main group), this forces the Melee opponents to line up and attack you one at a time....do make sure to keep Terrain, etc...between you and their ranged combatants while your doing this. Using Melee Weapons such as Sword and Board or Two Handed....One on one, keep circling your opponent, don't stop....this forces them to either drop their guard momentarily to turn with you...or you get lucky hits in by circling them faster than they can turn....Spam you Shield Bashing if you use a Shield, keep your opponent disadvantaged always trying to defend or staggering....More than one opponent....fight from the back foot always backing up arcing away from the main cluster, don't let them surround you, keep the opponent you are battling always between you and the main group, use him as your shield and obstacle.
  5. faster Swings with all Blade weapons....the Akaviri style...: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/12157//?
  6. The Racial power can be changed, but it needs to be done Creation Kit, can't be done via console....My Nord has the Orc Berserker Rage set as a lesser power so he can use whenever I wish instead of just once a day....he doesn't have a once a day Racial Power at all anymore.
  7. I think you found it. It must be werewolf mastery. How to fix it is simple then too.... ....Install Tales of Lycanthropy and Werewolf Mastery....Use Tales of Lycanthropy Ring to infect your character with Werewolf Blood....console the Werewolf Mastery settings ring and toggle Wolves to hostile....then un-infect your character with the Tales of Lycanthropy Ring....And all fixed... ...Vampires will be hostile again in all your games.
  8. Do you use the Mod Werewolf Mastery?....And if so, did you set Wolves to non-hostile? Wolves share faction with Vampires, if you have any Mod that allies you with Wolves the Vampires will treat you as an ally also. You mention you disables all Mods...the ally thingie sometimes bakes in for some reason, even across games.
  9. I recall seeing a Mod some time back that allows your Dovahkin to become a Highwayman, but I can not seem to find it. Does anyone know of a Mod that allows the Dovahkin to hold up (intimidate) and rob Travelers on the roads?
  10. I am pretty certain a few Orcs mention being there before the Nords if you activate their dialog at their Strongholds.
  11. The Nords claim Skyrim as theirs...yet the Orcs will tell you they were there before the Nords arrived, insinuating the Nords are the intruders. So to hazard a guess, I would believe an Orc would be more inclined to join the Imperials rather than the Stormcloaks. But then again you can give your Orc any reason for choosing either side.
