Weirdest bug I have ever encountered?
saurusmaximus replied to SHOULDILIQ's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
Did you re-run the FNIS generator when you unistalled FNISspells and Sexy move? -
So, do the crashes primarily happen out in the world (i.e.-not in a city or dungeon)? If so, the most likely culprit is your game is running out of memory when you cross from one load cell to another. Try reducing the graphic settings for things like grass and LOD and see if that helps, or do the really quick and dirty method and just generally set your graphics quality to medium, or even medium-low just to test it out. You can always turn it back up later, if you want. You could also try disabling your hi-res texture mods, and things like SFO. Turning off your ENB is an option as well. I realize that, if this works, you have the unhappy choice of living with a game that crashes, or one that looks like crap; a few months ago, I was testing a mod for someone and I had to temporarily turn off EVERYTHING. It was actually depressing to look at. At that point, you'll have to tinker until you find a happy-medium. If that doesn't help, then you have a case of mods not playing nice with each other and the only reliable way to figure that one out is to 1) disable all of your mods, 2)start a new game strictly for testing (coc riverwood from the main menu to save yourself the intro), 3)enable your mods one by one, playing long enough after each addition to ensure it's not the culprit, until the problem comes back, a very long and tedious job; I know, I've had to do it. You can pretty much count out any mod that doesn't add any scripts as being the problem (clothing, armor, weapons) to get started. A third option is to do nothing and get friendly with the quicksave button, F5, as I have learned to do :/ . Good luck, let me know what you find, or if you need anything else.

So, is it like a static that got stuck in the air? The easy way is to open the console, click on it, and type "disable". If you can't get to it from the ground, type "tcl" first, 'fly' up to where it is, then disable. The only caveat is to make sure it is just a random piece of wood and not something important that glitched it's way up there, because once it's disabled, it's out of the game.

need help with skyrim mod load orders(i think)

I'm confused, are you having an actual problem? -
Will I get more FPS playing at 1280x720?

I second everything Livingdragon said. The savegame script cleaner has saved many otherwise unusable saves for me (I just reread that and it sounded like Dr. Seuss wrote it, but my point remains valid :) ). -

Wow. That's like Skyrim-Halloween version. Listening to it, it sounds like you have a bunch of different scripts firing all at once. Did you delete any mods recently? -
A couple questions: Is the list of plugins you gave your actual load order? I ask because the first thing that jumped out at me is you have the unoffcial patches lower down than they should be(it should be the master, then the unofficial patch: Skyrim, USKP, Dragonborn, UDBP, etc.). Not that any of that is likely causing your problem, but I thought I would mention it. Did this problem recently start? Did you add or delete any mods just prior to it starting? Have you tried starting a new game to see if the probem persists? I've had this problem too and a couple times it was a case of a corrupted save game (bad me for deleting mods mid-game). Does it always crash in that amount of time, or can you sometimes go longer? I have this problem periodically too, and in my situation, it seems to be a case of I just have too much going on. The price I pay for a heavily modded game :( .

As stated above, your rig is at the very bottom of even being able to run the game. Yes, more RAM would probably help, however with that dual core Pentium processor, your still going to struggle. I didn't see your video card listed, I'm assuming you have integrated graphics as well? If so, that's going to slow you down too. Not trying to beat up on you, or your rig, I'm just saying...

What version of EFF are you using? The 4.0Beta versions have 4 other boxes that must be ticked in your load order in additon to the master file for everything to work.

Skydream Dream Maidens Mod not working
saurusmaximus replied to Tomkin64's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
I haven't had this problem, but you should be able to find the other three using the in-game body changer spell. Cast it, pick one of the other girls-body options, hair, tattoos-and she should appear next to you. -
MASSIVE freeze, yet beast computer. Help PLEASE
saurusmaximus replied to Daevarken's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
I can't offer a solution, but I would like to say that I've had the same problem since I started playing the game, before I had even started modding it. Granted, modding has only made it worse (i.e. more frequent) but not to the point where it's a huge deal. I have no idea what could be causing it because there is no rhyme or reason to when it happens. I've used Skyrim Performance Monitor to check my system, and it isn't showing that my system is maxed out when it freezes (usually). I know this wasn't any help, but I feel your pain ;) -
I quit using them and haven't had any trouble, or at least any new trouble :) There are a lot of people who advocate them if you have mods that modify your leveled lists, but I personally haven't seen a difference. The reason I quit using them in the first place is because I have so many mods, that I had to start merging them to shorten up my load order. The trouble was, after doing that, I would CTD on startup because, for whatever reason, the bashed patch wasn't rebuilding correctly. Now, part of that may be me not fully understanding how to use Wrye Bash (I've read all the documentation and I still don't completely understand what it does), but the point is I unchecked the bashed patch in my load order and kept playing, and nothing changed that I could see. As always with this sort of thing, YMMV.

I had a similar problem where everyone's (NPCs and my character) shields were floating underneath their feet and it turned out to be a glitch with Dual Sheath Redux. In my case, it was a matter of unchecking the "carry shields on back" box in DSR's menu. So, that's where I would start looking. It may also be something with the way you configured your skeleton (you are using an aftermarket skeleton, right?). I know this is an old post, and you may have figured it out by now, but that was my two cents.

Having participated in a couple beta sessions now, I have to say I echo many of the comments made here. As a stand-alone game, ESO isn't bad, it's engaging enough to play though I'm still trying to get leveling/perks system works. To me, it's an ElderScrolls themed game, more than the next installment of the same. I like it, but based on my experiences so far, I won't be spending the $15/month to play as I don't think it's worth it; but then I've never been a big fan of MMORPG's anyways so...I guess I'll be waiting with bated breath for TES VI to come out.
