  1. What...what does that mean? What Crime? Yeah I thought Landfall!Numidium was one that was timewarped out of the seige of Alinor, right? And wound up stuck in pocket dimensions for ages?
  2. Brilliant. Love it. Might I suggest having multiple breeds available at each city? Not all of them, but certain towns have some combinations of breeds, and others have other combos...
  3. First of all: Wow, this is still going on. Or was fairly recently. Second: wait, so it's actually Numidium that blows up Nirn? On its own? I'd kind of figured that either it was just sort of the "impact" of its return that caused the damage, or the Thalmor got control of it somehow. But I guess it's the Dwemer consciousness? What happened to Talos; I thought he was piloting the thing? Also, from what I've learned, it looks like Lorkhan created Mundus in order to let everybody become mortal and then achieve CHIM, resulting in (I think) Amaranth? I guess? But...then the question becomes why, since it looks like that would just create a new dream-cycle.
  4. Then why exactly is the Dragonborn so hilariously uninformed about all things Skyrim-related?
  5. Come on, guys. We all know it's the marriage dialogue. "Interested in me, are you?" *wedding*
  6. Yeah I don't think you can damage him at all.
  7. It's not Delphine. Even more than the fact that she has no reason to send you anonymous letters once you know her, it's completely out of character for her to do anything that would in any way help the Dragonborn! She is, after all, Skyrim's primary antagonist. Alduin? Ha! It's presumably someone omniscient (or near-omniscient), given the fact that they hear you Shout anywhere. It's not just Apocrypha; you can be in pocket dimensions, the depths of Blackreach, the mind of a dead homicidally insane monarch... Anyone think it's Talos?
  8. Speaking of Mantling... Is the Dovahkiin going to mantle Talos, or what? He's doing a lot of the same stuff, after all. And there's the whole "Hjalti's sword" incident. Or is he maybe going to mantle Alduin? Now that would be awesome. Maybe he'll attempt to conquer the Dominion with an army of dragons, and get banished by an Elder Scroll! Also, I've been thinking, and I think the Dragonborn is in fact an Oversoul of various adventurers of his era. I mean, it's been postulated that the different questlines are in large part accomplished by different people, right? So, the reason there's only one player character is that the Aurbis lumped them together, like with Hjalti/Wulftharth/Zurin Arctus. Calling it now: the Psijic Order will rebuild the Numidium, power it with the Eye of Magnus, and use it to defeat the Dominion in TES VIII. Possibly with the Numidium being destroyed in the process, and releasing the Dwemer, kicking off the next arc. ...or maybe not. But it would work pretty well.
  9. Yeah, I tend to be of the persuasion that necromancy proper is separate from Conjuration not something you can actually do in-game. All the nonsense with bones and corpse assembly and such, like Calixto does. Actually, it might involve Restoration as much as Conjuration, given that Restoration places a lot of emphasis on "mastery over life forces"...
  10. The metal portions still look too flat. Not entirely sure why, but I don't think there's enough reflection. Still, it's coming along.
  11. Oh, dremora armor isn't actually Daedric? Interesting. I figured the daedra just bound each other to armor. Sounds like something they'd do. But yeah, if they can't get ebony... And yeah, this is for abstract/lore purposes, not gameplay.
  12. It all happened, and it all didn't happen. Honestly, the whole malleable-time thing was a stroke of genius, given the nature of the series.
  13. Oh! Are you using glass armor? Because I'm having the same issue. Might just be the female model; my current playthrough is my only female so far, and I haven't noticed it on anyone else. But yeah, it's the center of the chestpiece, that moonstone section right in the middle that sticks out. I can see it if I look straight down, and if I jump it clips up through the view... It's likely mod-related, though. Like I said, I've never noticed it on any other playthrough.
  14. Most of these are good points. I recall somebody -- might have been Jingles/SorcererDave, in one of his Let's Plays, mentioning that whales in the Sea of Ghosts would be a nice touch for a mod. However, yeah. Dragons don't reproduce, at least not normally. They're basically lesser Aedra, shards of Akatosh. I think. So if they replenish themselves, it's not by mating. Being able to take prisoners would be awfully nice. I'd love to tie up Delphine and take her to the Greybeards, for example. (Still annoyed at how the game forces you to go on a completely pointless plot arc when everything the Blades do in the plot would have been accomplished by Paarthurnax if you'd just waited. And it's not like there was ever any real urgency; as far as I can tell, Alduin's goal was domination, not actual World-Eating...)
  15. Wait, rarity? Why would it be rare to the gods? Don't most dremora have a set? Ah yes, Aetherium...This does tie into my "Aedric Armor" theory/mod concept, where the Dragonborn would make ultra-pure soul gems from raw Aetherium, magically divert absorbed dragon souls into them, and then use them to make armor and weapons...
  16. Okay yeah. If your game is modded, and the weapon isn't one of the spectral Ancient Nord weapons, then it's going to be something to do with a mod.
  17. The edges of the guard look a bit flat. More detail there would be good. Other than that, it looks decent.
  18. Well, just because that's not how anything works. There is no "best". I mean, what's the strongest material in real life? Osmium is the densest, but does that make an osmium sword the best kind of sword in existence? No. It depends on alloys, craftsmanship, weight, flexibility, and other factors. Even with magic involved, as is clearly the case here, it seems unlikely that any one set of equipment could actually be the "strongest". Daedric items are ebony items with dremora bound to them, right? Well, there are much more powerful entities out there than dremora. What if you bound Talos to a sword? I'm exaggerating, obviously, and such a thing would be virtually impossible, but it's still theoretically doable, just not with the current abilities of TES races. Or, take the Dwemer. They bound themselves to the Numidium, using what I'm guessing is a similar principle as Daedric. If you count it as a piece of equipment, it's much better than Daedric. Or, speaking of the Numidium, what if you used the Heart of Lorkhan? That'd get you a much better piece of equipment than Daedric. My point is, there are always possibilities, and it's silly to make the claim that Daedric is locked into the position of "best".
  19. Could be the Ghostblade? Although that's a sword. Oh, oh. I know what you're talking about. You got it from a ghost draugr in Labrynthian, right? Can't remember precisely what those are called. I think the axes drain stamina. Or possibly magicka. The swords are called "Drainheart Blades" or somesuch. Hold on, I'll look it up. EDIT: Okay, yeah. You're almost certainly looking at a Drainblood Battleaxe, correct? They absorb fifteen points of health, meaning that the health is removed from the enemy and given to you.
  20. Anybody ever going to explain where this comes from? As well as the sheer insanity of having a "best" or "strongest" material? I mean, I can understand Daedric being the best known material at a given time, but people seem to think that it's unequivocally the best (albeit heaviest) armor in existence, in the Aurbis, ever. Which is ridiculous.
  21. It should be mentioned that in a vacuum, the Imperials would probably win the war. I mean, first scene of the game -- Ulfric is captured, and the war is about to end. It all would have stopped there due to Tullius's military genius, if Alduin hadn't chosen that precise moment to attack. I'd guess that the only reason it's been going on as long as it has is that the Thalmor are covertly aiding the Stormcloaks. They just have to be careful, because while a Stormcloak victory would certainly be better for them than an Imperial one, the war continuing indefinitely is preferable to either.
  22. Far as I know, you'll still die if you fall far enough after the horse dies. But yeah, the horse cushions the immediate impact.
  23. I've always basically interpreted that as a possible outcome, but not necessarily what will happen in the alpha timeline. Also, that could mean anything, really...it's possible that they only "win" way after the fact, by virtue of Mundus being destroyed under completely different circumstances. And hold on. Wouldn't a proper Thalmor victory mean the destruction of the moons, as well? Aren't they sort of part of Mundus? I mean, time exists there, right? Speaking of the Khajiit, I read some speculation about them being a Tower or a Stone or something. Don't remember the details, but it got me thinking...what if the beast races are the key to everything? They're certainly the weirdest of the standard races. But if the Khajiit are fundamentally Anuic, and the Argonians fundamentally Padomaic (they do indirectly worship Sithis), that could have some very interesting implications... It also lends a certain degree of credence to my theory that the Khajiit only joined the Dominion to attack it economically from the inside.
  24. Well I mean the Battle of Red Mountain and the disappearance of the Dwemer. Hm. Maybe the defeat of the Thalmor in TES VIII will involve the Numidium, and it'll be destroyed somehow, bringing back the Dwemer? And then the next arc will be dealing with the aftermath.
  25. Oh hey a Homestuck fan. On my first DB run, I lightning-stormed all three of them. Honestly, though, I'd kill the one who isn't the Khajiit. The Khajiit is just so nonchalant about the whole thing.
