  1. Since the creators of the only Rimmen mod on TesNexus decided to take away the 1 and only Rimmen mod for good (which made me mad, btw), is there anyone out there who could make a Rimmen mod for Oblivion (complete with connecting roads) which would be a good addition for the popular Elsweyr Deserts of Anequina mod?

At rare times in the game at random it'll get foggy up in the Jerrall Mountains when I'm there and then suddenly in the same Jerrall Mountains location I'll hear the wind whip up and then it'll rain and thunder will be heard with the rainstorm! Rain in a snowy mountain location in Oblivion? Is this possible or is it a bug that only I know about? I know it's not my PC! So has anyone else also experianced the bug where it'll rain on occation up in the snowy parts of the Jerrall Mountains?

Okay, so I seen another thread that stated that someone claimed that the site "Can you run it" stated that his computer can run it on minimum settings and my barely 1 year old late 2010 model HP PC is only able to run it at minimum settings, but after reading his thread, others said about his PC that it most likely won't be able to run Skyrim at all, even on minimum settings! So based on that info I fear that my PC won't even run Skyrim at all! SO I'm thinking that I'll be needing a brand new computer right out of the store as my HP PC cannot even be upgraded at all due to how it's built with all the stuff built right into the monitor, and I'm also thinking of getting one that can and will run Skyrim on full recommended settings! So how much am I looking at (pricewise) for a brand new PC that will run Skyrim at recommended settings (Max and with user made mods)? (Moderators, if this thread belongs in another SKyrim sub-forum, please feel free to move it there!)
  4. Looks like my PC meets the minimum requirements, but is not powerful enough for the recommended requirments, so my graphics won't be as impressive. :(

  8. Yes, I am trying to get my hands on modding! I have downloaded the Sign of the Dragon Heightmap that Onra has made, downloaded a few resource packs, went to explore on the SOTD Heightmap for prime real estate (modding areas) for my first actual mod, have used the TSD# and TDT so that the coordinance shows up, exited the game, fired up the Construction Set and set the Oblivion and the mods I need to be active in the C.S., and I go to the cell view window and am having a frustrating time trying to hunt down the exact coordinances that I want to mod on! So is there a way to simplify the coordinance order on the Tamriel worldspace so it makes it easier to exactly pinpoint and find the coordinance I want to mod? Yes, the coordinance order is all scrambled up in the construction set to the point that it makes it seem like solving a jigsaw puzzle, which makes it frustrating to find the exact cell coordinance out of a possible 10,000 or so cells! (especially when using Onra's very detailed and vast Heightmap!) I just want the cells to be in the order where it goes like this! (99,-1) (99,0) (99,1) (99, highest #) (100, lowest -#) and (100,98) (100,99) (100,100) (100,101) and not like this (as is similarly seen on the cell view window) (101,-98) (1,99) (-55,88) (64,-54) (89,1) Very confusing and takes forever to hunt down targeted cell! Argh You know what I mean now, I hope! In other words, I would like to find a way to make the cell view window to make the list of cell coordinances listed in a grid pattern order rather than a scrambled order as is current with the construction set.

  10. It may be the other way around! I beleive she told everyone that she was not even gonna mod anymore! So I'm beleiving now that she may have just hidden it for good due to the amount of trolls hating on her mod!!! Beleive me, I cannot even get a hold of Iliana thru her PM box at all as I'm having FPS issues whenever I'm inside of or anywhere near Dune to see if Iliana has used high-res textures for any parts of Dune!

I need to know why the heck my FPS (Frames Per Second) is only a lousy 1 FPS (even when I'm using Oblivion Stutter Remover) when I'm inside or near Dune in Aliana's Elsweyr Deserts of Anequina mod?   13. For #2, go into the console and type in "player.createfullactorcopy" and do it twice, just in case! (You can always use "deletefullactorcopy" to delete the clones later on when done with the scene!) Now make any other NPC talk to your clone by going back into the console and pointing the arrow at the clone and writing their number-letter code down, then clicking on the other NPC and typing in the console "startconversation (the 8 digit code of your clone)", and then hit enter and tilde to resume back to normal, and don't forget the TM code, either, otherwise the menu stays on! Now you can zoom in on your character talking from the side and record their conversation! If this is too confusing for you, just let me know!

  15. I need to know this one! I need to know if my current PC will be able to run Oblivion, and whether my PC falls into the minimum Oblivion requirements or recommended Oblivion requirements? And I also need to know if my PC is safe enough to run a modded Oblivion!? And if I need to upgrade my PC, where at do I need to upgrade on my PC? Here's my PC specs! And I would also like to know if my PC could run mods like Unique Landscapes, Heightmap mods like Onra's up and coming Sign of the Dragon Tamriel Heightmaps, Nascosto Isles version 3, Midas Magic Spells of Aurum, Elsweyr Deserts of Anequina, Tales From Elsweyr, and other mods just like it!?   16. Is it possible to play the PC version of TES-IV: Oblivion using an XBox 360 controller/joystick pad rather than the traditional keyboard and mouse? I know the XBox 360 controller has the same connection that todays PC mouse has! So is it possible to have the Windows PC version of Oblivion accept the functions from an XBox 360 game controller that's hooked up to a PC?
  17. I have a small suggestion for the site to help make searching for mods easier! Under the "New Lands" category (especially with TES-IV: Oblivion) they should divide it into 2 sections! "New Lands in Tamriel/Shivering Isles" (example, Elsweyr Deserts of Anequina would fit in such new category) That category would be for new lands that only requires one to remove the invisible border wall to access and simply walk to if they wanted to! The other subdivision for "New Lands" would be "New Lands in New Worldspaces" (examples of mods that would fit in this one would be Nascosto Isles (version 2 or 3), Silgrad Towers Morrowind and (Hanging Gardens?), and Duke City!) Dividing the "new lands/New landscapes" into 2 further sub-categories, one for the Tamriel Lands that takes place beyond the invisible border walls(as well as additions/land extension of Shivering Isles), and the other for world separated new lands/islands that doesn't even touch the Tamriel worldspace or Shivering Isles worldspace grids! Such a suggestion would make it easier when searching for new land mods!
  18. Which Heightmaps is winning the war of the complete Tamriel Heightmaps, Onra's Under the Sign of the Dragon Tamriel Heightmaps or DerVD's Total Tamriel heightmap? Which one would you use? Which one do you like best? Which one would you recommend? Discuss!!! (Please note that Onra has turned off the page for the Sign of the Dragon Tamriel Heightmaps mod due to massive upgrades to that mod!)
  19. :0 It seems that today I'm unable to upload a single file that contains 17 of my lvl 1 character saves from TES-IV: Oblivion! And yes, I'm trying to upload it onto an emergency file page I created on TESNexus! Is this some kind of bug that's happening this hour or day today? (If this thread doesn't belong in this section on the forums, them please move it to a section more appropriate for this thread!)

I know that I'm not very popular on the TesNexus or official Elder Scrolls forums, but if someone who knows how to make CM companions from characters players have made (with the same clothes they wear from the save file) and make it into a downloadable file, I'd like for someone to make a CM Companion mod that features the characters from the saves I myself made, as well as those that Kaiem has made as well, and put them all into one single CM Partners companion mod! (I'd do it myself, but as I have no mad skillz or any knowhow of the construction set, I would only get lost and frustrated doing it!) I think that would be like 9 or 10 companions total for the player to choose from if someone would make all of them into CM companions on one single mod with them all preferably located in the Imperial City's Tiber Septim Hotel (or if that would cause cell overcrowding, in the Talos Plaza District) (and of course with the clothes, armor items, and weapons they wear and posess in those save files)! All my characters are here! Click here! And here are all of Kaiem's characters! Click here! (Please note! Just to be on the safe side, for the one (or the ones) who wants to add Kaiem's characters to the CM partners mod that I requested, it may be safe to PM Kaiem or go to his YouTube page (the one that has Chuck Norris in Oblivion in it) and PM him there and ask for his permission! But you have all my permission to add the characters I have, though!)
