Bloodmoon Werewolf in Oblivion
TotallyNotToastyFresh replied to Heartborne's topic in Oblivion's Mod Ideas
I'm no scripter, but that seems possible to me.... -
As for sticking your sword in the ground, I would presume Actors in charge.

I like the feeling you get when you feel that you have genuinely achieved something.

Bloodmoon Werewolf in Oblivion
TotallyNotToastyFresh replied to Heartborne's topic in Oblivion's Mod Ideas
I haven't played Morrowind, so can you provide a screeny please? -
That's the one. Thanks.

I remember this mod, where there was a new race, or multiple races, and when they went underwater, they grew a tail, you know, like merpeople. I forget what it's called. Any help?

Thankyou very much. :) I'll take a read through this when I get a chance, and try to get it fixed. Thanks again! -
OMOD files, how do they work?

new mod 1.0.omod [basic info] Name: new mod Author: version: 1.0 Contact: Website: No description Date this omod was compiled: 10/20/2008 8:00:31 PM Contains readme: no Contains script: no [omod file information] File size: 17 megabytes Internal omod file version: 4 CRC: 19096941 Created or installed: 10/20/2008 8:01 PM Last modified: 10/20/2008 8:01 PM [Complete data file list] config (EEAE09B8) data (0641CB18) data.crc (33AC3BC8) image (44ACFF79) readme (EE5C2571) script (40CD443C) OK, now I don't know if you understand what I'm saying. This thing I downloaded was not actually in the OMOD format. It was just a .zip file. The other .omods I got were in a zip file, and inside the .zip file was a .omod. -
OMOD files, how do they work?
TotallyNotToastyFresh replied to TotallyNotToastyFresh's topic in Oblivion's Discussion
OK. But what was confusing me before, (I had actually tried to create the OMOD and filled in the name and author) was that when I activated it, no new .esps came up. So, I tried doing what you said and activated it and started Oblivion, but there was nothing new. -

Thanks for the help. :) @bben46: I'll try having a read through those, and see what I come up with. @Tchos: Well, the mod that I downloaded (DarkUId DarN), does not come with any OMOD conversion data. Could it be that I got a corrupt download or something? -
Hello. This is my first post on these particular forums. Yes, I can't figure out how to get a mod to work. Before you lock this, mods, please try to understand my confusion, and that I have read the stickies, I have searched, and I am NOT new to forums in general. I know how angry mods get when some n00b asks a question that everyone else knows, being a mod on another forum myself. I know how much of a n00b I must look like right now, but I'm at my wit's end. Now, I don't understand the way .omod files work. I have downloaded specific mods and have gotten them to work. They were in .omod format, and had no problem with them. But I went and downloaded DarkUId DarN, and I unzipped it. I saw these files: config data data.crc image readme script Now, after doing some reading on the 'net, I realised that these are the files that make up an .omod. Now, what I don't understand, is why aren't these files in the .omod format? Do I have to compress them to the .omod format myself? Any help would be very much appreciated. Thanks for listening. -Toasty
