  2. Very easy. For me anyway. You'll likely need HL:Ep1 installed, download SourceSDK from steam and then get Cannonfodder's MDL decompiler. Actually, if you have a specific weapon in mind, PM the creator asking if it's okay to redistribute it as a Fallout 3 mod, then PM me the skin and I'll do it.

  4. I'd like a perk which will change your identity for a limited time. Remember in Oblivion how you could become the Gray Fox, and then when you took off the cowl you'd get your infamy set back to normal? I want something like that so I can indulge in mass-murderings and still be everybodies friend :D Sounds very cool, maybe higher running speed?
  5. I have an ACR model. It's not my model, but it is my texture and I'm rather pleased with it. I'll have to check with Ultimate Bastard from FPSBanana first as he made the model, but otherwise, all I need is somebody to get it ingame.   7. Basically, I want the muzzleflash on a gun to play faster, so that it appears and disappears super quick, so that you can only see it for an instant. How would I go about doing this?
  8. Ditch ENBseries and grab those OBE shaders I linked to. The SSAO and Godrays almost make it look like Crysis, I just loooove the SSAO. Yes ENBseries looks great, but the effects aren't worth the performance hit. It's this good: http://img525.imageshack.us/img525/762/thislooksshopped.jpg

If you can run Oblivion Graphics Extender with SSAO, Godrays, and DoF, and also Really Almost Everything Visible When Distant at more than 25FPS average, you have the best rig ever and I request that you make a video of you playing Oblivion with those two active. I can run Crysis on all very high, at a 25FPS average, my specs are: HD4870 GPU, 512mb AMD Phenom 9550 2.2ghz, quad core GA-MA78GM-S2H MoBo 4gb RAM and running RAEVWWD, without Qarls or OGE, I get about 5fps. Good luck broseph, you'll need it.

  11. It has. Not 2 months ago both copies worked fine. Also, you should check my profile for my PC specs because it most obviously does meet the requirements.
  12. Okay, I'm tired, I'm hungry, it's pretty hot and I am pissed off. SO I'm just gonna post my problem here to try and get it fixed because I've tried everything and I have a headache from it. :wallbash: I'm absolutely dying to play OB again, and both of my copies of the game CTD. I have two: A copy bought off of Steam, and a copy on a clean install. The steam copy is fully patched and has tens of thousands of mods installed, and the other is not patched or modded in any way. Just vanilla OB. Steam copy will load a game, but as soon as it is loaded, the game exits instantly. No error message or anything. The CD copy will maybe get to the Bethesda logo, then CTD with the good 'ol anal-retentive 'Oblivion has stopped working'. Can anyone please help?
  13. I've just gotten into DA:O modding, and I am also having this problem. I can get the Vanilla game's .erf, but I can't seem to find the .erf for Warden's Keep.
  14. I'm also stuck here. This game seems stupidly hard, mainly because when I play on easy the entire thing should be a breeze.
  15. People who've played CoD pultiplayer will know that when you fire your gun, that if you hit someone with it, it will display a small cross acting as a hitmarker. I dunno about everyone else but I think it would be a pretty cool thing to have in FO3, if you removed the enemy health bar thingy, and would also be useful for sniping. I dunno how easy it would be to script, but if anyone's willing to script this so it displays a reticle around the existing reticle, then I'm willing to make said reticle in photoshop.
  16. Can't believe Bethesda didn't let is have dynamic lighting, it's just fricking pathetic. If it was any game other than Fallout I wouldn't play it with no dynamic lighting, just stupid.
  17. Get Martigen's Increased Increased Spawns if you want to kill plenty of Ferals. It's totally insane.
  18. I like: Dad: Sure, a little on the dim side, but his character was IMHO really well acted and expressive. Gob: He seems to be the only ghoul to ever exist that doesn't want to eat you. Herbert 'Daring' Dashwood: Pretty cool character, no racist and seems friendly enough. Simms: Because I get to steal his gun at the start of the game when Burke kills him :D I fricking HATE: Roy Philips. I go around, bust my ass to get you into this HUGE tower, which is actually very high class even by pre-war standards, then spend ages trying to get assholes to accept you, which is near impossible, then what do you do? You kill everyone in said tower, including Herbert Dashwood, and then act like you own the place and threaten to kill me? I lazed his head off and placed it neatly in former Tenpenny's toilet.

  20. @Skotte: Bollocks, why is it that my PC can run Crysis better than Fallout 3? Fallout 3 has basic lighting and normal maps, and HDR. Crysis has soft dynamic lighting, parallax mapping, HDR, DoF, object motion blur, sun rays... @Cipscis: Yeah, I saw that, and it looked incredible. @TheChan: Fallout 3 isn't incredible by any stretch. It's simply incredibly addictive. It has so many flaws, but the formula is great.
  21. WTF?! Pic Look at the desks and stuff. Seriously? What? Have Bethesda gone funny in their collective heads? Why the hell is this not in the game? It looks TERRIBLE! Would it be remotely possible for an experienced shader artist to mod this in? Hell, if so, I'd be willing to pay twenty bucks to see it done. Thoughts?
  22. Heh, yeah, but it's certainly possible with the crawler from Broken Steel. :P Right, but I'm rather bad with NPC behaviours. I'll give it a shot though. EDIT: Opening the CS now, I'm not quite sure how I'll do this tiers system. It's definately easy to move the buldings around but No matter how much crap you put above something it will remain lit the same way as the top two tiers. I'd really like to have it split into three cells but I'm not quite sure if I'm ready to throw away all my work on the walkway.
  23. Interesting idea you have there. Have you read Philip Reeves' Mortal Engines by any chance? That's a wonderful idea and fits perfectly with my walkway but I would really need a whole lot of new buildings to actually make the town bigger. But I'll definately see what I can do.
