  1. I do not have Modular Beautiful People 2ch edition yet, but am considering it for a particular save file. However, I've heard that uninstalling MBP 2ch can be problematic, as in not really being able to. Something about some of the changes being permanent. Does anyone know about this specifically?
  2. lol, like I said before, gimme the live bullet! I'll be glad to use it! :verymad: I've been just using the Windows disk cleaner for that, but I've been hearing a lot of postive stuff about ccleaner, like its a bit more thorough than the Windows provided cleaner. I might have to start using that. :D
  3. You know how they used to execute in the old military films? 5 to 10 gunmen line up and fire blanks except for one with the real bullet and no one knew which they had so they wouldn't feel gility? I'd volunteer shoot the live bullet! What type of scanner are you using Ben? I always thought those type of virus are the type that you'd have to do a complete format/reinstall of the harddrive and OS. And LOL at your avatar CommanderCrazy!
  4. I vehemently disagree with this... somewhat. Yes, the materials could potentially be the original game/utility creator's. But the idea behind the mod is still the author's, which is why authors are given the right to take down their mods from public if they choose to. There's a little more to the rules of a mod's use than just polite respect. It would also depend on what's being done. You can't for example take a mod posted here on the Nexus, repackage it and claim it for your own. What you said is sort of like saying that a software pirate has a right to steal software that a company explicitly states against it. Are the laws going to stop them? No. Unfortunately, so goes the same of modders. However, this direction is going way off track and further discussion of this should probably go into a separate thread. :whistling: OT: Anyone have any luck finding that "stop companions from taking off" mod yet? Might've been a part of a feature rather than a separate mod.
  5. Gonna post this again just in case it didn't get noticed and buried. Still looking.
  6. I was about to download a mod when I got one of those "your system is infected, perform a virus scan now and get protected" type hijackers that force you to scan using their bogus scanners. Surprised the heck out of me too because I have a pretty tight security system in my PC now. Unfortunately, I don't know which advertisement it was because I had my flash player turned off. Not much of report, but thought I'd at least give you a heads up, Dark and staff.
  7. I'm looking for the mod that made it so that your companion(s) wouldn't run way off chasing a fleeing enemy and leave you by yourself.
  8. hmm, that almost like Andragorn Armory: http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=26490 But the waist/groin is different, much shorter. Almsot looks like the edit I made for Stealth Wars.
  9. I'm always working on a mod, whether publish-intented or not. I'm actually far behind my intended mods on the to-do list! :wallbash:
  10. Yeppers, I just did a mod clean up of my list this weekend and thinking about it, I have many mods and patches like that too. Readmes named Readme doesn't bother me, but the mods being named the way in the examples David list is plain annoying. I always keep a copy of my uninstalled mods in a separate file and I had to look into it several times to figure out what a mod was.
  11. Foudn that mod I was refering to in my first post: http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=20977
  12. TES4edit is a good utility for that as well. Just beware of what you merge. Somethings are not meant to be merged. UL mods are one of them, but from what I understand the UL patche are fine.
  13. Oh my gosh! I knew that number was familiar but never could remember why! <kicks self for not seeing that>
  14. I think with a mod like this, that wizard's spell book mod would come in handy. You write the spells in it and it takes it away from your spell list where you can eventually recall it back later and take it back out of the book. It's sort of like a separate inventory for spells. Can't think of the name of it specifically though.
  15. So do all these "PM me links please" imo. but, let me also point out one of the forum rules while we're at it: Chapter IX - Vigilantism Vigilantism is... Performing a moderators job or impersonating a moderator by telling someone they have done something wrong or against the rules. There is a "Report" button underneath each and every post on these forums -- if you believe someone has broken the rules please use this feature and a moderator will be there to sort it out pretty quickly. It is not your job to tell others what they can and cannot do on these forums. *Takes cookie* Got milk?
  16. This is a very disrespectful and ignorant thing to say about someone's mod, and although I didn't make it, it offends me as a mod author myself. Too many bugs? Name them from your personal experience. I'd like to know what you've seen in your game so far. Very outdated?! What the heck are you talking about? It's the latest dual wield mod out there! It's also the most comprehensive with more features available compared to others, and if that means a little bit of a learning curve, so be it. All you have to do is read the readme. Not only does it explain everything in detail, it has a troubleshooting section. Let me guess, you didn't read all of it did you? I'm willing to bet no, since you stated yourself you couldn't figure it out. Also, you obviously don't know the author. He had worked very hard on UV1 and has been working on a new UV2 version that is nearly completed, which would be why he is not supporting UV1 anymore. But honestly, everything that has a potential problem is in the readme for solutions. There are also patches available for some of the more persistent problems. That's fine if you don't like a mod, but refrain from stating crap about it that you don't know! It's junk like this that makes mod authors keep things private! :verymad:
  17. Geez with the nudity. Hopefully I won't get fired now! :wallbash: Used to be that posting images like that was a bannable offense.
  18. Check this out David: http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=35257#fileanchor It might be just what you're looking for. ALso keep in mind that it can cause issues with certain quests (vanilla or modded) where NPCs actually need to kill each other. You'll have to deactivate it for quests like that. Check the comments on it from Bethsoft forums for further details. Skycaptn won't put any sort of confliction notes about it in the descript/readme for some reason. I actually have it as a suggestion for my Stealth Wars mod since the NPCs there could sometimes start a civil war inside a city!
  19. Hmm, if I'm not mistaken, isn't that supposed to be endgame material with OOO activated? As in level 45-50? I could be wrong here since I don't use OOO, but from what I understand of it, it does this sort of thing.
  20. Which one? I don't see any removals or notes from an admin stating it.
  21. I personally don't use COBL either. Something about some conflictions with some of the mods I run, although I can't remember specifics.
  22. or keep it in PMs. One poster needs to say I have it, PM me and leave it at that.
  23. http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=14506 The hilt in the one above is a bit different. I'd try the Mod Detectives thread above though.
  24. Very cool. I'm sure the quality of the mod will be the same great quality that was in Lost Paladins, and from the screenies, it looks it.
