  1.

the last piece of the puzzle that is called "complete oblivion experience"

would be a great new year's present

That is what I am aiming for. Working hard to make that happen. Getting some off-time here and there to finish up the work that is left.

The most annoying thing is trying to get it compatible with earlier versions of the Kvatch Rebuilt. I can't get it 100% compatible, but I can at least make it so you won't have to start all over again.

By the way, if someone here is an expert on scripting, and would be willing to help me out with a certain script I am working on, please PM me! :D

I'd ask some of the folks at TESAlliance for help on this. There's several experts there that might pick up the script.

  2. Was a good game. Unfortunately, I didn't get very far because I was busy with other games. I also started with the lion, but I went the evil route because he looked so awesome! My biggest issue was that you had to constantly exercise your pet because if you didn't he'd get fat quickly.

  3. Has there been any word on when Rebuilt will be ready? The 1.1 version is no longer available and I sort of want to install AWLS, but it is recommended to install Rebuilt first if you are going to install it. I suppose Bain could handle that by adjusting install order. But ideally I'd just like to install Rebuilt, make sure everything is working there, and then add in AWLS.

Not sure about BAIN because I don't use it, but from what I understand of AWLS, it replaces the city meshes, textures, etc. and that's why they recommend you install city changes first. What you could do is go ahead and install AWLS and when KR comes out, install it and then reinstall AWLS again.

  4. Dark Millenium. It was a project far too ambitious to ever get off the ground, and the death of THQ signed it's exterminatus order, but it would have been quite a sight to behold. It was going to be an MMO based on the frankly VAST War Hammer universe-complete with all 26 playable races as factions. Almost impossible to make-and the project was subsequently terminated, but that would have been amazing-an MMO on a scale the likes of which we haven't seen since pre-SOE SWG.

Borderworlds. A theoretical game that's been hinted at and is almost a production certainty. The premise is to take the (totally freakin' AWESOME) idea of Borderlands and apply it across multiple planets. Yep. Character creation and customisation also hinted at-it'll probably happen too, but it's still just a persistant rumor at present.

Project CARS. Another of those "it can't be done-we just don't have the power!" projects-the premise this time was to create the most realistic, comprehensive and visually stunning car game ever-while also including full mod support, even on consoles. It initially seemed far too ambitious to ever be possible, but CARS has actually been one of the biggest crowd-funding successes of all time, it raised 3.9 million Euros in about a year, went Beta early this year, and is due out in about three months time-even more amazingly, I've played it and it really does meet it's goals. Which is rare for a project that insane.

Star Wars 1313. Grand theft Imperial Walker, basically. It would have been awesome, now it's just a sad monument to the fall of Lucasarts. At least SWBF3 is coming. And Hoof-Battlefront 2 had one of the most AWESOME modes in any shooter, ever. It was called Hunt, and it was basically a Gungan genocide simulator. One team as droids, who then went and slaughtered gungans. Everyone loves slaughtering those <your expletive here>

Borderworlds? Wow, that does sound intriguing, and I've never even played the Borderland games. Is it supposed to be an MMO or single player?

  5. haha its so wierd to see this pop up. it made it almost two years ago, but i actually remember making it quite vividly.

funny thing is, is that Battlefront 3 is now a game coming out, which im so freaking pumped about. Borderlands 2 and SC2 HotS have come out since, and both games ive enjoyed very very much. im still excited for the other games i mentioned to be annoucned and come out, so maybe in two more years time, the rest of my mentioned games withh at the very least, be anounced lol.

i think my most anticipated game atm, though its official, is Destiny for next gen consoles. i pre ordered the game the other day, so i could get beta access for PS4. gotta get a PS4 though lol. i watched gameplay of that the other day again, and im so excited for it!

Oh geez, I didn't even notice the post date! Wow, necroposting ftw!!!

  6. Dark Ages of Camelot2! I hoping the coming ESO is going to be spirtually it, but from what I hear, there's still going to be some missing elements from what I'm wanting. :(

Also, not necessarily a sequel, but I'd like to see SWG come back online. I really miss my Spined Rancor pet.

I like to see a throwback to the old Final Fantasy games, like the old ones on the SNES. I sorely miss 16-bit RPGs.

  7. Couple this with the news about how PCs will be able to take hold of 4k resolutions and the next gen consoles will only be able to sniff at it, PC gaming's future is looking so bright it'll be like staring at the sun! Gotta wear shades.

  8. Another thing in regards to Skyrim, I've heard nothing but bad things about the game and how too simplistic it is compared to the previous games in the series, and most of that is coming from Elder Scroll fans. The only thing I can think of is that the game is friendly to those that are new to RPG's like what a previous poster in this thread had suggested. It's not a hardcore RPG, and I don't think it was meant to be. I'd hardly call Oblivion hardcore either.

Anyways, what I"m getting at is comparing Skyrim to Drakensang would be like comparing apples and oranges. Sure both are fruit (RPGs) but they're not the same kind. However, take that with a grain of salt. I've not played either game.

  9. Please stop generalizing NA players. I, for one, find it not only inaccurate but also insulting. Just because a few outspoken critics get attention, it does not mean the entire NA populace feels that way.

I think it would have been more accurate to say that the game was largely unknown. I've never even heard of the game before until I read this thread. But honestly, I feel that PC gaming advertising has really disappeared in the last few years. I guess they don't make as much money as consoles. Even my local game stores hardly carry PC titles anymore.

  10. I've been searching for Game of Thrones mods for Oblivion since GoT is a kind of huge and great universe which I can imagine in Oblivion as mods but only found Jon Snow and Theon Greyjoy Companion mods which I am grateful!

But I would like to bear some Starks or Lannister, Baratheon, Targaryen related mods or some kind of Armor mods, to be specific it would be good to have Nights Watch armors and weapons or Gold Cloaks armors, Kingsguard armors, Footsoldier armors, Northener armors, maybe Wildlings in the wilderness or revamp the zombies into blue eyed White Walkers or just put some White walkers in.

Thanks for reading it and even more thanks if I inspired somebody to make awesome and famous mods!

    Brisath!

  11. Each Khajiit Highwayman (there are 5 in game) is non-respawning. You can change that in the CS by checking the Respawn flag on them. The default respawn time is 72 hour (3 days), but that resets every time a cell is loaded. For instance, if the mountain lion was killed on Rain's Hand 1, it wouldn't respawn until Rain's Hand 4. But that counter would get reset if the cell got loaded on Rain's Hand 3. At that point, the mountain lion wouldn't respawn until Rain's Hand 6. If the cell got loaded before Rain's Hand 6, the counter would rest again.

You can shorten the respawn time by changing the game setting iHoursToRespawnCell.

Vyper, do you know if any mods already touch that, such as MMM?

  12. I would say yes, definitely use Better Cities on your first playthrough. It adds so much more atmosphere to the cities, and makes them much less bland.

Not what you are asking for entirely, but I would also recommend using the Unique Landscape mods, as they make the landscape a lot more interesting (you'll also need a patch for compatibility with Better Cities).

Better cities adds no unbalanced things, and I know it adds at least one quest-line (plus generic quests), which is the Gold Horse Courier.

Oh definately UL! That makes a HUGE difference! Along those lines, I'd suggest taking a look at Better Dungeons too. A word of warning though, it does remove the ambient lighting in them, so you'll have to use torches and light spells and/or nighteye.
