  1. Sounds like a Combat based mod, you tried disabling DR6 files?

  3. Thanks for the reply Hickory. I'm looking in the CS and only see Player Faction under Ownership with the subchoices None or Friend. I had tried both subsettings. The only place I see Needs a Key is under Lock, it's checked Locked and Needs a Key (Guildmaster's key which I'm the only one who has one afaik). I'll try again, even checked this on the Trapdoor and the Door into the Gray Fox Bedroom, once this mod is installed everyone uses it as a shortcut. :confused:

I'm using Guildmasters Quarters Trapdoor with Key for the Thieves Guild, but Armond is going though the Guild Master bedroom door then through the Trapdoor or the other way when coming from the Waterfront. Iirc there is a setting in the CS for Doors, Chests and things that prevent NPCs from using them, anyone know what I need to set in the CS? Thanks for any tips. :smile:

  6. Thanks for the replies. The problem is the main map is so full of markers there's a lag when opening it of about 8-10 seconds, very annoying. I've tried to find out if there's a OBSE mod that addresses the Map Load Lag issue but so far no luck. I'm a bit surprised since it's a pretty common problem of getting 100s of markers after playing 80+ hour games, maybe it's unfixable even with an outside resource like OBSE. :confused:
  7. Should Map Marker mod's Markers show up on the Local Map? I have Map Marker Overhaul installed, just tried reinstalling it with all marker Options (well have OGates removed on Closure) but I still get vanilla map markers in my Local Map. Thanks for any tips. :smile:
  8. Is there anything that can be done or mod to help with the loading time of the ingame map when you spent lots of time playing and have most of the Location Icons? I'm currently using Map Marker Overhaul as it seems very comprehensive and well done. Even though I used the selection to remove Oblivion Gates once closed and no minor markers like Doom or Ayleid wells it still lags quite a bit. In all honesty part of the problem is my machine, my RAM failed and I'm currently on a back up PC with a single core P4, while Corsar is sending replacements. Still though this issue seems like it would have been resolved after all these years especially with all the talented modders and tools like OBSE, couldn't all the all this be handled outside with something like OBSE? Thanks for any help. :smile:
  9. Thanks fg109!, Kudos given. :) player.placeatme worked! Got the horse, but guess I have something set wrong because he doesn't Fast Travel with me and guess it means it won't be there when I return from an interior. Btw I did use SetOwnership, just in case but it was already set to PCHorse and PCFaction in the CS.

  11. There's a custom spell made in this Thread called Detect Hostility, is it possible to make it an Enchantment? I've tried creating New Enchantment but I can't get Magnitude to "Ungrey" so I can enter a number in the Field, not sure what causes the Magnitude to be usable as in Detect Life. Also what is the Type EFSH, see it in the Details but not familiar with this category? Thanks or any help. :)
  12. I wanted to add to my PC directly a set of armor from a mod. Looked up the Editor ID and FormID then tried to use each of them with the player.additem command but neither one works. Normally a Vanilla item FormID works but there seems to be some additional parameter to using the ID. Does anyone know what the trick is to getting modded gear to additem? Thanks for any help. ;)
  13. Thanks Hickory. Anyone know if the icon can be extracted with the Construction Set, if so is there a fairly simple graphic editor available for those of use whom aren't blessed with artist talents? ;) Thanks for any tips, links or help.
  14. Does anyone know how to edit the color of the Crosshair, I see the hud_reticle.xml but not sure what to change. I would like a White color as the Gold default color blends in with the landscape too easy, making it impossible to Target Accurately. Thanks for any help. :)
  15. Hey don't see a mod detective thread and need help finding a mod if it exists. Isn't there a mod which allows you to keep Alistair if you take Loghain into the Grey Wardens so he can be sacrificed as a hero instead of executed for treason, allowing Alistair and the PC to survive within lore? Thanks for any tips or links. :smile:

  19. Is there a method or mod to take Copy a NPC face then Paste it to my PC in a Save? Not sure I would know how to make it a preset to choose during creation. I have seen Face Exchange but think it only lets copy of PC face from a Save game to PC in another Save game. Iiirc in Oblivion Face Exchange Lite, we can use Copy & Paste via a clipboard function. Basically I would like to take a face from Project Beauty, at one point I think Dracomies was going to make some presets but got busy with DA. Thanks for any tips. :)

  22. Great site thanks for all the hard work. :) I could use some help, hope this is the right place to ask. I seem to always have trouble Searching for a mod Author, no matter what game site I am on. So I was wondering what I am doing wrong or if you would make it a bit easier to Search. I click on the Search function in the gamesite area, get an Advanced Search screen and type in the Author's name, hit Submit and I get nadda. If there is some required fields missing, I don't see them identified. I hope this isn't being too demanding, wouldn't it make things even easier on the amount of work your Systems have to do (i.e. less data parameters during searching), if we could just look up a mod Author in say Oblivion, Fallout 3 or Dragon Age? Thanks for any tips or links. :)
