  1. Does this link work for you? https://www.gamepressure.com/download.asp?ID=58852 You can check if you have a firewall exception by clicking on the Windows Security icon on your task bar. > Firewall and network protection > Allow an app through the firewall. and see if the updater is there. When you try to run the updater, do you see this screen when you click on the log tab? The only other thing I can think of is that Win 11 sets your user documents to use one drive by default. Maybe the path to your documents is too long, or contains symbols that the updater doesn't recognize, or the updater service is just denied access to. I don't use one drive so I'm not sure.
  2. You can use Dragon Age Mod Manager to install Dazip files. https://www.nexusmods.com/dragonage/mods/277 When you try to run daupdater.exe does the log tab show you the correct paths, or give you any indication of what it can't find? Did you give it an exception through the windows defender firewall? daupdater does work with Win 11.
  3. Thank-you for your reply. It is helpful that you use Origin and still get DA Download Manager (DADM) Could not connect to DADM Control Server! I was thinking it might have been related to me using the GOG version, just as DAUpdater can't connect with the GOG version unless you edit the path in the registry. But editing the path did not allow it to connect to the DADM Control Server! I'm now wondering if the control server hasn't been shut down. I would like to hear from anyone who still can connect to it, as I think the Wardens Armory feature probably relied on it. EDIT: YES! I got it working! It was my own stupidity. I hadn't created a ECLod.ini in the bin_ship folder. Once you do that, your DragonAge_1.log file becomes one solely for the Warden's Armory, and you can copy the appropriate lines to your DragonAge.ini
  4. Has anybody managed to get the warden's armory part of the winter forge to work? Anything I put in the wardens armory disappears, and there is no reference to it in my DragonAge_1.log file. The only thing that might be related is: DA Download Manager (DADM) Service was started! DA Download Manager (DADM) OpenService failed (1060) General Initialize - Initialization Complete DA Download Manager (DADM) Attempting to connect to DADM Control Server! DA Download Manager (DADM) Could not connect to DADM Control Server! DA Download Manager (DADM) Restarting DADM HeartBeat! DA Download Manager (DADM) OpenService failed (1060) General Loading - Start General Loading - End OnlineFeatures Wallet balance requested. OnlineFeatures Login successful. OnlineFeatures Wallet balance error.
  5. Just a guess, but I would try player.additem 07000ADD 1 Or you could open the console and type search "lambda" and it will show you the item codes.
  6. You open the console with the tilde key, and then type player.setscale 1 and press enter. Then your player will be the default height.
  7. Have you tried player.setscale 1
  8. Just a guess, and I might be way off, but do you have the 64bit version of Python? The editor is only a 32bit application, but you want the 64bit version of python if you on 64bit Windows
  9. Are you sure it's raining, and not just the spray coming from those two large waterfalls? By default the area has 4 FXAmbBeamWetMistBig effects, to represent mist coming from the waterfalls.
  10. If your saving the game with the console and not getting a .txt file it is because you are not adding a number after the save name. ie: save Reshiram (game saved but no .txt file) save Reshiram 1 (or any number other than 0) will save a .txt file.
  11. Did you read the first line in my post. You have to use the console to save the game! Open the console and type save anyname 1 And you will get in your save folder a anyname.ess, a anyname.obse, and an anyname.txt https://i.imgur.com/2b2pW6C.png https://i.imgur.com/V5mhZbC.jpg https://i.imgur.com/Y7TQM3Z.jpg https://i.imgur.com/AUxvwnw.png
  12. In the game, open the console and type save mygame 1 Go into your save folder and you will see mygame.txt Open the txt file with a txt editor like notepad++ At the top go Edit > Find and put the name you gave your custom spell. Or just search for SPELs Get the 8 digit number from the front of your spell. Back in the game, open the console and type player.removespell xxxxxxxx
  13. I can't imagine anyone would make a mod when there are only 5 bugs in jars. Butterfly in a Jar: Alchemist's Shack Bee in a Jar: Goldengold Estate Torchbug in a Jar: Frostflow Lighthouse Moth in a Jar: Duskglow Crevice Dragonfly in a Jar: Dushnikh Yal
  14. If you come across any more broken links like that. Simply copy the file ID ( in this case 28504 ) and paste it in place of the ID of any current oblivion mod. The sites structure changed, but the file ID's remained the same. So http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=28504 becomes https://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/28504
  15. I don't know if it's the problem, but for a start you have installed all 4 conflicting versions of Realistic Ragdoll Force. You are meant to just choose one. Also you could try enabling logging in your skyrim.ini to create a error file when it crashes. [Papyrus] fPostLoadUpdateTimeMS=500.0 bEnableLogging=1 bEnableTrace=1 bLoadDebugInformation=1
  16. Have you completed the Wolf Queen Awakened & the Kill the Vampire quests? You can't make her a follower until those two have been completed.
  17. The nose is quite a common problem (and sometimes the eyes) Just go to the nose preset and pick the first one, and it will be the one you made in the toolset. I don't have PT textures, so I don't know what he was supposed to look like. The toolset will show any mods you have installed, but the character gen screen will only show those in your chargenmorphcfg file. If you export your MRH file as a .mor, and use a gff editor to add your morph to your saved game, he should look as he does in the toolset.
  18. There you go https://www.nexusmods.com/dragonage/mods/686 In future, if you get a mod on Nexus that says service unavailable, just go to any dragonage mod page on nexus and replace the ID on the end, with the ID from the link (in this case 686)
  19. I'm on win 10 64bit and just use the current 32bit Java version 8 Update 281 (build 1.8.0_281-b09) I use TlkEdit-R13b or TlkEdit-R13d, both work with no problems.
  20. I looked at the chargenmorphcfg.xml yesterday and I'm not sure I have anything to offer, hence my not weighing in. The only thing that jumped out at me was that the formatting is a bit off for most of the document, at least compared to my own XML, I didn't mean to drop you in it. That's what you get for being so helpful. I don't think the problem is with the chargenmorphcfg.xml if even the default human male head morph causes the crash, and if it was a formatting issue like you mentioned, none of the mops would work. I didn't mean you should be creating them in the Single Player Module, I just thought that may have been a cause, as sometimes just having that single player module folder in your documents ... can cause crashes. What I did was create a module and named it MyHeadMorphs and I create all my head morphs there. The toolset exports the .mop to C:\Users\John\Documents\BioWare\Dragon Age\addins\MyHeadMorphs\core\override\toolsetexport\ There is no need to move your mop files after you export them as the toolset just enables the MyHeadMorphs mod in the game. https://i.imgur.com/1bEp9W2.jpg Does your Export summary say it was successful? It could be that the toolset has administrator privileges and is exporting the .xml files to a folder the game doesn't have access to. You could try going to wherever you have the game installed \Dragon Age Origins\bin_ship right click on DAOrigins.exe and Run as Administrator and see if that makes a difference. It would also be easy enough to remove a few head mops from your chargenmorphcfg to see if there is a limit. Does the tortelion head morph actually show in the character creator as it looks in the toolset and it crashes when you select it, or does it crash when you move to the preset position it should be in?
  21. Are you creating these morphs in the Single Player Module? Try just going to ...\Documents\BioWare\Dragon Age\modules and delete the Single Player folder. Failing that, wait for theskymoves to figure it out.
  22. Your having a ball with Origins, but you posted this in the Dragon Age 2 forum. If your problem is with DA2, then it sounds like just a missing line from your chargenmorphcfg.xml The first line under <beards> <human_male> should be <resource name=""/> <!-- no beard --> If it's not there, just add it.
  23. OK, thanks for the reply. I had seen others post links to how you get past the encryption, but they went to the old Bioware site. And one bloke who asked how to do it, and then replied to his own post with " never-mind I figured it out" ( I love those guys) I managed to achieve my goal by just exporting a basic leather chest piece UTI with the toolset and editing it. Then renaming it to prc_dao_lel_im_arm_cht_01.uti I did the same with the Vestments of the Seer, but unfortunately I have no way of knowing what the unique ico file for the Vestments is called, but that's a small price to pay to get rid of that plain green robe. Just a tip. Don't use the GFF editor that comes with the toolset to edit uti's. It removes the last few letters of the TemplateResRef, causing it to work when you first got the Battledress, but you would then be naked on reload. It took me a while to figure out why that was happening.
