Vortex doesn't see any mods but does see them in the load order

Heya,

So my problem is that I cant find my mods in Vortex and can't really manage them, but somehow I can change the load order.

I had a bunch of mods installed for Bannerlord before getting Vortex, is there a way to get those mods properly in Vortex without redownloading/installing them?

 

Pretty sure I'm missing something simple, but any help is apreciated!

Unfortunately you can't import directly from the game folder. You could zip up each mod folder and drop that into Vortex. Although it'd be cleaner to reinstall everything.

I did what you said, but in the end after hours i still don't have my game running, eventhough i had before I started using Vortex... Assumed it would make this easier, instead it broke everything...

Sorry to hear that. I'd be curious to know what you feel it "broke". What could have happened is there was leftover junk in the modules folder which interferes with the mods installed with Vortex.

The problem is what you did, it IS easier to use Vortex, just not in the way you tried.

 

You had mods already installed, then you installed Vortex thinking it would find the mods you had already installed, which no mod manager is able to do.

 

Your best bet would've been to UNINSTALL any mod you had installed with Vortex, then uninstall Bannerlord and manually delete the game folder in order to completely get rid of the mods

 

Then, reinstall the (Now Clean) game, redownload the mods using Vortex, and use Vortex to install, Enable, and DEPLOY the mods.
