Mod categories not showing in vortex

I just installed vortex on my new pc and started downloading mods for sse but the categories are not showing up in vortex.

Go to MODS Tab, click the GEAR Icon in the upper Right, next to the word "ACTIONS"

Make sure the box next to CATEGORY is checked.

I did this non of the mods i have downloaded have a category yet on my old laptop they did.

What version of Vortex are you using?

YOu might have to turn off your Anti Virus and reinstall Vortex, sometimes an AV program blocks bits and pieces of Vortex from Installing

Also, try closing Vortex and opening it again

The most current version on the page and i did all that its still not working right

Try clicking "Categories" on the mods toolbar, then "Retrieve Categories". Accept the prompt and Vortex will reset the category list to those found on the site. You may need to reinstall any mods that don't have categories if this works.
