Baphomet
I think we all can share in your pain... Just a quick question - have you read the topic in the Tech Support thread (it's pinned) about preventing CTD's?

boohoomoo
My CTD's nearly got eliminated when I turned off Real-Time Shadows, alond with noticeably improving game performance. Now, I don't have those annoying shadows poking through the walls and ceilings, and my game runs better. F5 is still my friend, though. Otherwise, I end up dying from something stupid and haven't saved for like an hour.

Blastoise
What does CTD stand for? Make copies of the game for yourself, so if you lose a copy, you can still use the master.
The_Reaper
The ctd is the dreaded crash to desktop from whom we all suffer and is destined not to have a solution!
Rune
I don't think there will ever be a way to get rid of CTDs. There are way to try and prevent it though, like Baphomet said, it's in the tech support thread. I bow to F5. I press it almost every time I exit a building (my computer is really really bad and unreliable).
SothThe69th
I haven't crashed to desktop in forever. Go to morrowind.ini and set MaxFPS to 60. It helps. A LOT.
