littlehewy
Hi everyone. I'm trying to install Vortex and some mods for BG3. I have the game installed on my d:/ and no matter what I do I can't manage to get the mods to have any effect on the game. I have uninstalled Vortex and all the mods, and I'm ready to start again, if a helpful, selfless expert can give me a simple step-by-step run down of how to install Vortex and the mods properly. I know, I'm a dummy. Thanks in advance!

Tirecom
Basically, you need to ensure the mods are loading in the right order (depends on the mods you install - note the install instructions for each mod you install in terms of what should be loaded first, most don't matter, but some will state explicitly that you need to load it first). You can also install Candor's mod manager to make the installation process a lot easier, specifically for Baldur's Gate 3. littlehewy
Literally the first link from a Google search..... Thanks so much, this fixed it. Again, sorry for my incompetence. I didn't come across this at all somehow.

Thanks for your response, the answer above solved the problem but Candor was my second option, and no doubt would have also done the trick. Really appreciate it.
