Starving11 Posted October 30, 2021 Share Posted October 30, 2021 I have XCOM 2 from gog, and I want to use Vortex because the gog version doesn't come with a mod launcher, and managing the mods manually is a pain. When I use Vortex, the mods move over to the correct folder, but the mods aren't added to the mod config file, so the mods don't load. Editing the file is where the pain comes in. Any ideas? Can Vortex be updated to edit this file for me? Is it because my mods aren't from Nexus? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Pickysaurus Posted October 31, 2021 Share Posted October 31, 2021 It sounds like you're installing your mods outside of Vortex. I would strongly recommend using Vortex to install the mods. If you look at the "Load Order" panel in Vortex with WOTC managed you'll see the path to the INI file that needs to include the mods in order for them to be loaded.
