Vortex not saving how my new groups are set up in the plug-in section

I'm glad the bug you were experiencing was transitory. Too bad you weren't able to nail it down so that Tannin could ensure it didn't occur to anyone else. Still, a win for you overall.

Not sure who you are, but obviously you appear to be jaded. The help you asserted you wanted to provide would not have worked as the apparent circular events were inconsistent. At one point it would be x mods, then at another point completely different mods, that would not have helped you. As I am sure you would like to have the last word, I am looking forward to your response. In the meantime, I will no longer be following this thread. Have a drink with an infused chill pill if you are going to respond to questions posed.

Thanks man. It appears that when I used Loot outside of Vortex, it helped clear up the issue. I have the most current version of Loot and I assume so does Vortex, so I am not sure why that helped, but it did.

every post from you in this thread shows a complete lack of understanding about how loot works, how vortex works and how the game works.

i offered you accurate, honest advice and at each step, i closed off the advice with - if it works for you then good - or words like that.

 

what you have posted at each step in this thread, is, honestly, complete nonsense. when asked to provide "proof" - you couldn't or didn't. to me, if i had the problem you claim to have had, i'd want to share it with the community and the vortex developers to make the product better.

 

the only person who had the problem you claimed to have - is you. the solution(s) you came up with are conflations that you've arranged to match your own lack of understanding of how load orders work, how mods work, how plugin sorting works. there's nothing true, or accurate about your solution(s), and it's abundantly clear that you don't want to hear that your masses of plugin groupings is a bad thing to do for a variety of reasons. that's all fine - you do you. just don't ask for help if you don't want it, or your ego can't handle it.

 

i think we're done here - you've "solved" your self-made problem by - oh look - doing as suggested and removing all the groups. who'd have thunked it eh?

Please remember that, of the people who posted replies, only Pickysaurus and Tannin42 actually work for the Nexus. Everyone else, including me, is only trying to help according to their own experience and level of reading comprehension.
