Hi, after installed Vortex to better manage my mods for Valheim, something weird happened.

need some help on clarifying the below if anybody know about it.

Q1: the VortexWorlds and ConfigurationManager are a must to be installed?

Q2: I tried delete them but seems like it will be automatically re-installed everytime i launch Valheim again.

Any way that I can stop them from re-installing?

If the files aren't causing an issue, why would you need to remove them?

That's because I'm playing on a dedicated server and they don't whitelist this 2 dll files.
Each time I launch Valheim, I will have to manually delete them from the local file then join the server.

Maybe you have any suggestion or solution to this?

Something strange to me.

Vortex does not need to be running when you run Valheim. Why would Vortex files be installed in the game directory?

This never happens with Bethesda games. Nothing of Vortex goes in the game directory.

And if you don't launch the game through Vortex - Vortex never runs - and can't install anything.

You can submit feedback through the app to suggest these be togglable. I'm not too familiar with exactly how the Valheim extension works but the develop who wrote it will see your feedback if you send it in the app.

I'm not sure if you sent the feedback as I asked, but I have spoken to the dev working on this extension and he said he will look into making those optional. They do allow some mild cheating in multiplayer.
