Bluttrinker Posted January 9, 2022 Posted January 9, 2022 Happy new year. Over the last couple of days, when installing mods (doesn't happen ervery time) with vortex, I got the massage, that something was changed outside of vortex. Afterward the mod was flagged as redundant. Have a nice day.
Community Manager Pickysaurus Posted January 9, 2022 Community Manager Posted January 9, 2022 Happy new year. Over the last couple of days, when installing mods (doesn't happen ervery time) with vortex, I got the massage, that something was changed outside of vortex. Afterward the mod was flagged as redundant. Have a nice day. That would imply that something outside of Vortex deleted all the files for the mod, you must've saved the changes making the mod empty.
Bluttrinker Posted January 9, 2022 Author Posted January 9, 2022 Your right, but why is the installationprocess generating those files outside of Vortex?
Community Manager Pickysaurus Posted January 10, 2022 Community Manager Posted January 10, 2022 I don't really know what you mean by that?
Bluttrinker Posted January 10, 2022 Author Posted January 10, 2022 Yesterday I automaticly updated Faster-HDT and CBPC . The window for changes outside of Vortex popped up. No other programm was running and I didn't do anything else. So the changes had to come from Vortex itself.
Community Manager Pickysaurus Posted January 10, 2022 Community Manager Posted January 10, 2022 I'm not really sure where they came from, but Vortex only shows the external changes window when it didn't make the changes and notices that something is different.
showler Posted January 10, 2022 Posted January 10, 2022 I think those two trigger the FNIS update if you have it set to auto run. That would be considered an outside change by Vortex since it is the FNIS program making the changes.
