Monolithic0117
Getting a painting isn't much incentive to refrain from turning Chanel in, especially an ugly one. Besides, dealing justice is far more important.
Ihoe
Did both!!!Her painting wasn't much tough, I Rather have Emeralds and Diamonds.
Monolithic0117
I Rather have Emeralds and Diamonds. Wouldn't you rather get a unique weapon or robe/etc.? Emeralds and diamonds just amount to some paltry amount of gold.
Storm Raven
Oblivion has an interesting habit, of checking your inventory, when looking for goodies to grant you. I always kept a number of jewels on my inventory, when I discovered this purely by accident. Fallout 3 has a very similar habit, now it could just be happening to me, but it happens often enough to make me wonder. 8)
Varus Torvyn
I always turn her in. She should have pity for the Countess: after all, she is grieving for her husband.

XanAlderon
I never completed that quest, I talked to all the people and worked out who did it pretty quickly but I couldn't be bothered to find the clues.
nosisab
That was a difficult choice... I know County Chorrol were a good ruler and loved by the people... but I think she was not so good a woman if you understand me... And Channel did love the deceased "anta" too much to the point of wasting her (dubious) artistic talents on him... So I did look to a hawk flying high in the wrong instant and missed the mess... Indeed I thought this may have helped to avoid another daughter from the royal couple... Edit: the filtering system changed one word that seems to be worse to English speakers than is to us (note taken), and the new one seemed as much offensive, in the context, as the former one, to me... so I changed it again to anta - a big rodent known for not being so bright and other things... :) Edit PS: indeed the filtering changed the word by it's (almost complete) descriptive meaning, forcing new edit :)

scarb
I turned her in, but I was sorely tempted not to. I found her rather appealling, and if I could have somehow used my information to blackmail or coerce her somehow to me, I would have gladly done so.
