Terrain is strange (can walk through it and not supposed to be there)

IDK if this image will imbed but this is the issue. I am using the TWMP so using Tamriel heightmap and such. Trying to make a city in Morrowind. When you get there there is this hill in the middle of the city that does not appear in the creation kit. It also does not seem to exist as you can walk through it and then you see the rest of the city though you can also see the "hill" again. I just want an explanation for why this is and fixes if any. Is it due to the heightmap? Sorry if the images do not embed.

Got the images now. The first one is the hill. Second one is in the hill which you can just walk through. The hill is not supposed to be there. Also a new issue cropped up. In the first image that's an ash texture on the ground. Now for some reason the texture is purple meaning that the game is not finding it for some reason. This is really starting to piss me off.

You say you're trying to make a city in Morrowind, do you mean you're creating your city out of the map bounds? I've never tried that myself but there might be some technical f*#@ery required before doing that. If you have any other mods active, did you check if that hill comes from another mod? Maybe a modder accidentally raised the landscape there and didn't notice.

Yep, working with the TWMP. My biggest theory is it might be the Tamriel heightmap itself. TWMP for context is a collection of mods that remove the borders and make all of Atmriel visitable. Some locations have actual cities modded in while other have only markers for their rough location. Morrowind had neither due to Morroblivion so was going to try and add stuff there.

You probably have the right idea only issue is it not showing up in the CK. My other issue is the ash texture I was using WAS working but now its not for some reason and is now purple meaning the game cannot find it despite having been used to it.

Ah, I didn't know what TWMP was. If you're working with that then working out of the map bounds shouldn't be a problem. I'm not really sure about where that hill is coming from. Have you tried loading up Oblivion's master file and looking at that location? Maybe that hill is present in vanilla and was never removed by TWMP.

As for the texture, are you 100% sure that it's vanilla? I do know that if a terrain uses too many textures it can lead to problems.

Its probably that but how exactly would one "fix" distant lod?

My guess is that you should edit the heightmap in location of your city to not interfere with models. In vanilla all cities are its own "world". If TWMP has already cities, can't you look how they are edited to learn how to add another one?

About texture problem - maybe your VRAM is full, but I'm not sure. Does it work if you uninstall TWMP or some part of it?

TWMP does not add cities. Its all open world in the Tamriel worldspace so no go for that one. I was editing blank land that had been "uncolonized" as it were. Nothing was there but the distant lod is f*#@ing up.
