daddyattitude
I hope to explain what I mean. A tool in Vortex that will sort mods used based on mod dependency or mod requirements. So I have a mod that has many requirements in order to use this one mod. Rather than having to disable each dependency and mod to switch play through saves, have a tool that groups these mods together so that a player can change mods for different play through saves. Kinda like the way you switch games from the profile menu, only you switch saves per game in the same way. Saved game A: uses these mods. . .. click A Saved game B: uses these mods. . ..Click B and so on. I am not even sure this is possible the way Vortex is currently built, Thank you for your time. showler
That's what profiles are for. Different mod list and different saves for different characters.
Pickysaurus
As showler says, what you're describing is essentially profiles. You can also enable profile-specific saved games for Bethesda titles to keep the saves separate.

daddyattitude
That's what profiles are for. Different mod list and different saves for different characters. I think I got this figured out. So I "cloned" a profile, switched to the profile I just made, changed the name to a more suitable one. Added back the mod I removed for playing the original profile. Opened the games save file that uses all the mods and it worked great. This was using Stardew Valley which was easy enough to sort through.Thank you for your help. Both you and Showler.
