lightsaber321
so, I've been trying to download BF2 mods with Vortex, and it says I need to download FrostyModManager, I press download, it tells me to move the files into the game directory (which I believe is the BF2 files), and I do that, I check Vortex, and it says the same thing, that it could not find the FrostyModManager files. Can anyone help me with this?
showler
Installing Frosty Mod Manager Download Frosty Mod Manager from the website. Create a new folder called FrostyModManager in the root of your game directory (aka STAR WARS Battlefront II folder). Extract the content of the zip archive (FrostyModManager....zip) you downloaded into the folder. Is that what you are doing?

Pickysaurus
If the Frosty website is down you'll have to see if you can find the tool somewhere else I'm afraid.
Solution Pickysaurus Posted July 24 Solution Share Posted July 24 Looks like the website is dead, but the GitHub page is still active https://github.com/CadeEvs/FrostyToolsuite/releases/
Olliebroke87
Yes the GitHub one is active but how do you download the GitHub one onto vortex tools bar
ChemBoy1
You would need to install Frosty as a mod in Vortex (drag and drop the zip downloaded from Github) and then add a tool for it in the "Dashboard" tab. I do that automatically in my Battlefield 1, Mass Effect Andromeda, and Dragon Age Inquisition extensions. The BF2 extension does NOT have an installer for Frosty MM, though, so you'll need to set the mod type to "Engine Injector" manually to put it in the correct location.
