yosomith2012
Basically just downloaded vortex because I wanted an easier way to download a collection. What I wanted to know was if there was any way to stop vortex automatically making itself the active window every time I have to click to download the next mod? It doesn't do it while I'm playing a game but if I'm browsing I am constantly disrupted by the window popping up telling me to download the next mod. Stupid idea really but I guess that's just the next idea to try to get people to buy premium, annoy the hell out of them
showler
Not so much "annoy the hell out of them" as "have them actually look at the ads that are paying for everything."
yosomith2012
Not so much "annoy the hell out of them" as "have them actually look at the ads that are paying for everything." My main issue is vortex constantly interrupting me, I actually don't mind the constant going back to nexus to click download all the time as much, just thought it was a little silly
Guest deleted34304850
very simple solution - get premium, done.
Pickysaurus
It sounds like you're saying "I want to install a collection, but I don't want Vortex to help me". Vortex coming back into focus is initiating the next step in the process to install the collection. To stop this, stop installing the collection. showler
Would it be possible for Vortex to pop up a notification that the next step is ready to begin rather than the entire program popping back to the forefront?
yosomith2012
It sounds like you're saying "I want to install a collection, but I don't want Vortex to help me". Vortex coming back into focus is initiating the next step in the process to install the collection. To stop this, stop installing the collection. I have no issue with getting vortex to help me to install the collection. What the issue is that if I'm doing something else, like say watching a youtube video, vortex forces itself to the front thus interrupting what I am doing
Pickysaurus
Have you checked the app settings? There's something in there about focusing the app on download. It might apply to collections too but I'm not sure

StickyNarwhal
Isn't focus stealing a windows API specific thing and not really program specific?
