4goTTen21
SetupError: Missing: C:\Program Files\Epic Games\fallout3\Data at C:\Program Files\Black Tree Gaming Ltd\Vortex\resources\app.asar\renderer.js:2849:145 at tryCatcher (C:\Program Files\Black Tree Gaming Ltd\Vortex\resources\app.asar\node_modules\bluebird\js\release\util.js:16:23) at Promise._settlePromiseFromHandler (C:\Program Files\Black Tree Gaming Ltd\Vortex\resources\app.asar\node_modules\bluebird\js\release\promise.js:547:31) at Promise._settlePromise (C:\Program Files\Black Tree Gaming Ltd\Vortex\resources\app.asar\node_modules\bluebird\js\release\promise.js:604:18) at Promise._settlePromise0 (C:\Program Files\Black Tree Gaming Ltd\Vortex\resources\app.asar\node_modules\bluebird\js\release\promise.js:649:10) at Promise._settlePromises (C:\Program Files\Black Tree Gaming Ltd\Vortex\resources\app.asar\node_modules\bluebird\js\release\promise.js:725:18) at _drainQueueStep (C:\Program Files\Black Tree Gaming Ltd\Vortex\resources\app.asar\node_modules\bluebird\js\release\async.js:93:12) at _drainQueue (C:\Program Files\Black Tree Gaming Ltd\Vortex\resources\app.asar\node_modules\bluebird\js\release\async.js:86:9) at Async._drainQueues (C:\Program Files\Black Tree Gaming Ltd\Vortex\resources\app.asar\node_modules\bluebird\js\release\async.js:102:5) at Async.drainQueues (C:\Program Files\Black Tree Gaming Ltd\Vortex\resources\app.asar\node_modules\bluebird\js\release\async.js:15:14) The goty edition of epic store actually has a different structure like " C:\Program Files\Epic Games\fallout3\Fallout 3 GOTY Language\Data" So does this actually mean Vortex won't support modding this edition? Maybe moving the files of the redundant folder to the desired path could make the trick?
Pickysaurus
Ugh, why do the old Bethesda games have to have such illogic file structures? I'll see how hard this is to fix but Fallout 3 is taking a really long time download so hopefully I can test it later.
showler
The Epic version was downloading five different languages of the game last week. I doubt they fixed it yet. It made the download five times bigger than it needs to be. This probably explains both the odd file structure and why it's taking so long for Pickysaurus to download it. Pickysaurus
You can manually set the path to "C:\Program Files\Epic Games\fallout3\Fallout 3 GOTY Language" in the games tab to get it to work. Just be aware FOSE probably doesn't work.
showler
I believe the Anniversary Patcher has been reported to work correctly in order to make FOSE compatible again. The EGS version seems to be exactly the same as the most recent Steam version.
