sudoshywolf
Yes, because that drive no longer exists since I moved my files to my new computer and reinstalled vortex multiple times with no success at getting the message to go away. It still works, but that annoying popup won't leave me alone. How do I get it to stop? Thanks
Pickysaurus
What is the message actually saying? You have something (probably a tool or a game) that is still pointing to that location.

WilliamReace
I have a similar issue, except that it's my desktop, my D drive has always been a BD-ROM and never a HDD. The file location of Skyrim vr is G and has never been anywhere else.
WilliamReace
Every time there is a file that finishes download, vortex goes to mount the mod, and then I get spammed with those errors about trying to access a file from the D drive, but it can't, because there is no file there. The D drive on my desktop has never been a HDD, and I have never once pointed vortex to that drive, so why it is even trying to access anything from that drive, makes no sense at all. Especially with the files all downloading to the G drive, which is where they are working fine according to vortex. But those messages are still spammed, some hundred or so, at a minimum, clicking the X without moving the mouse a ton of time between each file download and while it is Mounting them after each download. Ignore doesn't work at making them go away, Neither does any of the other buttons on the window. They just keep coming. It is extremely annoying to have to wait for that, click through it, and then start the next file, because you can't select anything else while that error is popping up repeatedly. Solution Pickysaurus Posted November 21, 2022 Solution Share Posted November 21, 2022 Go to your dashboard and edit the tools to point to the new locations.
WilliamReace
Go to your dashboard and edit the tools to point to the new locations. THAT was very helpful, thank you very much.I had trouble finding the tools because someone (VORTEX) reorganized the dashboard to instead have the tool under a separate window instead of being next to the currently active game (which can also be turned on or off now). Fixed, mark this fixed (for me), thank you.
XtraPrimeTime
Go to your dashboard and edit the tools to point to the new locations. Hello, i am having the same problem. Vortex is reporting the missing drive and it is right, because that drive is no more (Drive "D").To get rid of that message i have to remap directories using "the tools" - but i seriously dont get what you mean. I made a fresh install and it sadly saved the old directories and still wants to acess Drive "D".Could you kindly provice a more detailed description of what i have to do? My dashboard looks like this:
showler
Scroll down to the tools applet. Use the menu for each (three dots) and choose to edit the tool.
