showler Posted October 12, 2023 Share Posted October 12, 2023 The determining factor for me is my belief that the Institute was using Nick as an early test for transferring memories into a synth body. If doing so locked you in to whatever you were at that particular moment, with no further room for growth or change, I doubt they'd be wanting to do it.
